I love going into New Leaf Consignment Shop, everyone working there is kind, helpful, and just nice. I never have to go into the store to collect my money when I sell items there. The check is sent directly to me with a complete description of what I sold.Ive worked with other consignment shops and none of them are as organized, have as neat an appearance, or as pleasant as the women are at New Leaf. Well I’m only writing this review as I got an email from them asking me to write one.I sent New Leaf an email a few weeks back asking if they had any interest in some designer formal gowns that I wanted to consign.They didn’t even have the courtesy to respond to my email with even a cursory reply.So, I guess you could say I don’t recommend them :)

Love to shop at New Leaf! The merchandise is quality and often one of a kind. The prices are great and Stephanie is a talented stylist. She always knows what will look good on me before I put it on. If she knows you she will think of you as pieces arrive. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere feels like a family gathering.

A significant amount of inventory is in high end designer merchandise. However, given the product they are selling, the prices are quite good. Staff is very friendly and willing to help putting together an outfit. We wouldn’t up only looking, as I was with some teens. Even so, very helpful.

I love New Leaf Consignment. It is clean and organized by size and color. The last time I shopped there, I got two great sweaters. I get compliments on them all the time. Its a nice shopping experience.

Consigned several items, two of which were expensive coats, which I specifically requested be returned to me if not sold. Never had any communication from them as to whether anything sold, and no response to my email follow up asking for the coats back. Granted, the pandemic happened in the middle of it all, but if you run a business, it only makes sense to manage it and communicate.

The staff is helpful, friendly and accommodating -- I appreciate that as a consignor. The store is well organized, making it easy to shop for specific items, including jewelry and some unique housewares. Its so much fun to explore and browse.

I have been here a few times and found some cute things, and Ive consigned at the shop years back, so its a cute little place to check out. Sadly, on my recent visit, I was honestly disappointed with the experience. Right where I walked in, there was a cute white purse but the moment I touched it, the woman at the register rudely said do not touch anything on the display, if you want to see they will take it down and never actually said hello or any welcome. In general the staff was snooty and not very friendly or welcoming.

Love New Leaf. They have the best selection. Im always complimented on the things I find, when I wear them out. Whenever I’ve need something special, the girls have consult, dress and fuss over me making sure I find just that outfit that suits my body and the event.

Their display window always is a work of art. Love looking at it while driving through town. Great variety of items inside. The owner is the nicest person and the staff is helpful.

When I entered the small store, neither of the two female proprietors said hello. But that alone isnt such a big deal... After about three minutes of browsing, the older woman with feathered bangs came to hang up dresses- right where I was browsing. And that felt strange- especially since she still did not offer any pleasantries, and did not even say Excuse me, hon until she had hung the second dress. By that point, I simply moved to another rack. To make a long story short, after about 45 minutes, I had found two shirts that interested me. I should add that in this time, two or three other women came in, and that they were greeted and told about a promotion. After I had come out of the fitting room and put back the items, which did not fit me, it suddenly all became clear. One of the proprietors began talking about Trump, and how somebody, some people were always preventing him from getting things done... I failed to react, frankly, I had come to look at clothes, and was going through a break up- the last thing I wanted to do is was talk politics with... them? But these women, whom I imagine fancy themselves smart business owners, made my visit political. The second proprietor responded to the first by giggling, and then shushing her older friend. And I exited, never to return again.

Arleen is the greatest. She knows what styles are best for me. And Stephanie is a wonderful help to me also. What a great store. The best I’ve ever sold and bought with. Kudos!!

The staff is wonderful. I went twice and as soon as I walked in the door, my young daughters were greeted by name. I bought some nice clothes and the prices were decent. Def recommend this place!!!

I find it somewhat amazing that most of the really high end items I left for them did not sell....at least according to the checks Ive received. If you cant sell designer bags and shoes (that are in pristine condition) at giveaway prices, then why take them on consignment? Very disappointed.

Lovely staff, amazing prices. Everything is looked over very carefully for quality. My friend and I just got back from there and she got a never worn Calvin Klein blazer, probably originally $100 in stores, slashed down at New Leaf from $30 to $6. Also, for students, there is a 10% discount which can be used with their other discounts.

What a great consignment shop right in the heart of madison! i shop here all the time for my girlfriend and have even sold things on consignment! they have amazing people working there that are always willing to help in anyway possible along with an ever changing stock of amazingly priced items! i have bought jewelry, shoes, shirts, dresses and even a freaking hand bag/purse that my girlfriend still uses! by far the best little shop in madison! i highly suggest you check it out!
