I never leave reviews- but I just had to for this place!Miguel is amazing- professional, knowledgeable, kind and very patient. I didn’t know anything about window tinting, so he made sure to show me several examples and explained in “car language” that made sense to me! I can now explain tint percentages to friends that are also looking into getting this done. They also remind you via text for your upcoming appointment and are easy to reach.The car turned out beautiful and it was done within one business day. They are reasonably priced and take great care of your vehicle. I can’t say enough good things! I mean- look how great this looks! My remote car starter stopped working and Miguel was able to get it up and running. It was an aftermarket starter that the dealer shipped out to be put in, so they were no help to get it back up and running. By the time Miguel was done, it was running perfectly and he was able to program it to my cars key fob so I no longer need to carry around an extra fob just for remote starting my car. I never would have been able to troubleshoot this on my own. Thank you so much!

Since I have an Arctic Start in my car, I went to him, as hes the only service provider in Madison, WI.I was days away from leaving in my car w/my 87 yr old Mom to drive to NM. Without Miguel hanging in there for 3 days w/me trying to figure this mess out!!, we wouldnt be able to go at all.I was in constant communication w/him via text and phone.When I picked up my car, the bill was beyond reasonable. Awesome service I got 20% carbon tints put on, called midday within an hour I was able to come in for my appointment discussed what I wanted how long it would take. It was great work done not too long too finish good price, professional guys well spoken definitely recommend them.

I got all four of my windows tinted here and the quality of work is spot on. Reasonable prices and the owner was very friendly over the phone and in person.I docked off two stars for two reasons. It was recommended I drop off my car early to ensure they could complete the work within the estimated 4 hours due to high volume. I had a 9:30 AM appointment and dropped of my car/keys by 9:00 AM before the shop opened. I was the 2nd if not the 1st car parked. I received a friendly reminder text that morning to confirm my appointment and letting me know the time of completion would not be guaranteed. Okay no biggie, maybe itll take a bit longer. By 5 PM I had not heard back on the status of my car. I called and was informed my car was done. I asked why wasnt I notified? The owner just said my car was ready for pickup. When I arrived the door said Open but doors were locked. I called and the owner had stepped out of the office for a bit. Im sure there was a reason but at this point I was already thrown off by the miscommunication.I have a dashcam in my car that records when the key is inserted. Curious as to why the service took longer than anticipated I reviewed the footage. My car was driven into the garage around 9:45 AM. The driver side of my windows was worked on until 10:15 AM. The next time my car was worked on was 3:30 PM and completed around 4:30 PM. I couldnt fathom why my car sat in the shop untouched for 5 hours between 10:15 AM and 3:30 PM.I had really high expectations given the 4.9 rating and great reviews. Although the quality of work was good and the owner was nice, I didnt have the experience I wanted due to the miscommunication and the 5 hours my car sat in the shop without being worked on.

I didnt need an appointment to make my front two windows to match my back one. They were able to squeeze me in and I couldnt be happier with the results! I would/will reccomend friends and family to go here to get their windows tinted.

Don’t get your windows tinted here! I took my car here and I was told my car was done at 9:15pm I went there and he said it wasn’t done, I waited until 11:45pm and he said my car was done. There was a lot of dirt particles and bubbles between the tint and glass on every single window and it was very noticeable so I took my car back and he fixed one spot! So I took my car back a third time with post it notes over every bubble and dirt debris in between the glass and tint and he laughed!!! He said he wanted to take a picture because it was the worst tint job he’d ever seen!!! Said that kind of pic would be bad for business so he decided against taking a pic. He fixed my back window and rescheduled me for a 4th time to do the rest of the windows. It looked almost perfect except for some bubbles on the bottom of the back windows and debris on the windshield upper tint so I took my car in a FIFTH time and got my car back and noticed there was a big fabric pattern in between the glass and the tint where the previous tint had ended and where the new tint is now on the upper windshield strip and it looks far worse than before. I’m just gonna live with it because I’m so sick of having to take my car back there. I’m not a difficult customer I just wanted a good tint job on my car. I have had two previous cars tinted at other places and ran into no problems whatsoever. This is the first bad review I’ve ever wrote online and I almost didn’t but this was beyond so I had to write a review.

Great experience! Recently had the windows in my 335I tinted by Miguel. The work was outstanding! The customer service is great,even when I managed to mess up one of the windows, he replaced the tint no questions asked. Overall great experience, Miguel is very knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions I had. Will definitely be bringing my other car in to get tinted.

I had all the windows done on my Chrysler 300 and this guy did an awesome job! Not only does he stand behind his work 100%, there was literally nothing that needed to be fix at all (some bubbles are normal when getting tint done but there was none!) I recently had someone else do some tints on my charger and regretted it the minute it was done...it was horrible and wish I would have called Sun Block window tinting! They will be fixing the mess someone else made for sure! Miguel is very skilled!

Unfortunately I never got my service done here because of terrible customer service. I emailed twice through the website asking about tinting my cars windows, and despite an initial response with a quote, no further emails were returned to answer my questions. I figured I would then call and set up an appointment, which I did. I was told I would get a call prior to to discuss dropping off the car, going over details, etc. Still had heard nothing the day of the appointment, so I emailed saying I wouldnt be dropping off my car as no one had discussed anything with me, and received a response later in the day saying oh, we sent out an email saying the business is not open due to Covid. Fair enough, but last straw in a string of bad moves customer service-wise.

I had all of my windows tinted during the weekend as well as had a big decal installed on the hood and two huge decals installed on the entire side of both sides of my Jeep. It turned out to be a really big job and took much longer than expected but he stayed extra late on a Saturday to get the job done and it looks absolutely flawless!! I could not be more pleased! And the price is extremely reasonable! I would recommend Sunblock Window Tinting of Madison to anyone! The best service, look, and price you will find anywhere!

Be sure to make an appointment, they go by appointments. I wasnt referred here, I just brought a new car and wanted the neatest tint I could get. I did my research and this place had the best google reviews. The tent is neat, no bubbles, and the film is of quality. I had my windows tinted at sun block in Madison WI. Let me tell you something. This man is awesome and does great work. I have had my windows tinted here in madison by 3 different Tint companies and by far the best window tint job here in Madison. I have only had good tint jobs done good in Milwaukee but did not want to drive there. So I read his reviews and decided to give him a shot. Best decision I made. I am having remote start installed there too. I recommend this man to any one that wants the job done right and cares about his work. I got my windows tinted this last Monday. I asked asked for his opinion on the front two windows to match. WELP its perfect. After he was done I asked for the windshield strip and he got right on. Very responsive and generally a good experience working with from a communication standpoint. I had a tried to make an appointment a few days in advance but the only opening they had was a leave it in the morning and they would get to it when they got to it type deal. Come the end of the day they were still working on it and the owner noting they were rushing to get it done. At that point I said I was happy to pick it up the next day if that meant they would not rush which is what happened. That said the quality of the tint job leaves a lot to be desired. Namely the rear passenger windows have vertical stripes in them making it look like there were creases in the material that where never flattened out or that the material was stretched too much. From the inside I have not been able to tell too much however from the exterior it is very noticeable. Additionally there appears to be an unusually high number of bubbles again in the rear windows. Lastly the price was not what was quoted over the phone and was higher than other shops in Madison so I am not sure where all the cheap comments are coming from unless people did not shop around. I plan to go back to the shop to attempt to resolve the issues and should they be able to fix the issues I will update the post.

I did a lot of research on window tints not just the installation but brands and figures and found that the brand sun block uses is one of the best at keeping heat out and keeping the color I had him put on the tint on my new car after he was done he said a few spots may not turn out if after 2 weeks its not right call him and sure as the sun is hot the spots he said may be a problem didnt turn out right I called him back and he brought it back in and redid not just those windows but 2 others he was not happy with that I didnt even see anything wrong with the windows look great now Im going to take a 2nd car there soon

Also damaged my vehicle and had to pay another shop to fix damage. Lied about product information on remote start told false information and overcharged for cheap product. Had to have window tints done 5 times before they gave up on job. Tried to hide and deny scratches they left on car. I had called Sunblock window tinting a week or so ago. JR called back right away and gave me the best price for my new BMW I had found. He came out to my house on time and was exceptionally friendly, explaining what he was doing and it was obvious he knew his trade and very well. He also pulled a dent out of my back bumper… And he didnt even want to charge me for it. I dont think I have dealt with anyone with more integrity, honesty and professionalism.
