Appointments mean nothing to these guys. COVID protocol is less than desirable. One star means they are very good at excuses. Never return.

Usually takes more time for service than I have seen and can improve on communication on what’s going on with car and how long it’s going to take kind of things.

I bought my tires here and decided to also buy the lifetime alignment and rotation package. Every single time I bring it in for an alignment or rotation, they tell me I have a lose ball joint and they cant do the alignment. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Theyve done the ball joint multiple times themselves and had to do it under warranty twice. The last time (#4) it was still under warranty again, but I took it elsewhere because youve got to be kidding me. Even with the work done elsewhere, I waited 3 hours today (w/ appointment) for an oil change and rotation (oil change still not done) and they didnt do the alignment again because, you guessed it, bad ball joint. Theres nothing wrong with my ball joint. Now Im in hour 4, car supposed to be done in hour 2, and still dont have my car back with all the work I asked for because they LIE! Im so done with this place. Absolutely ridiculous.

They were pretty busy and instead having me sit there for hours and wait.They took my tire and called me when it was ready to put on. Came back and the had it done within 10 minutes. Quick, easy, and affordable!

Originally gave a 5-star review but I’m updating my review. I took my vehicle to a smaller, local auto repair shop and now I see that Firestone has been telling me things need to be repaired on my vehicle that were just fine. I have spent hundreds with Firestone and I regret it. I will never return! Granted, the staff is friendly, but I am very disappointed by how they have been taking advantage of me and robbing me of my hard-earned money. Beware.

Had to order a tire for $270.00. No problem. Said it would be done by noon the next day. No problem. The rim was already off the car, they just had to mount and balance the tire. It is now 3:22pm the next day and tire still is not done. No resolution, just excuses. They are too busy to take 10 minutes to mount a tire. Steam level rising!!!!!

A complete lack of customer service...I will be taking my future business elsewhere. Story:I took my car in for an oil change/batterycheck (aux battery). I dropped my car off at 9am, they said it would be completed by end of the day (4:30 when I get off work). They asked if I wanted my car checked for other items, I said sure. 3:30 rolls around, no phone call. I call and they said it is currently being worked on. 4:30 comes, I call again...oil change is done, but havent checked the battery yet. Ok...5:30 rolls around, again...no call. I get a call around 5:45, said that I need a new aux battery but it wont be done until early morning. Fine, I wait until 11am the next day, still no call...I call and find its not done (my battery wasnt in stock). I finally get a call that my car was done at 12:30, so I picked it up at 4:30 after work. Come to find out they ended up charging me for a car checkup and battery check...I was never told that both cost $$. I understand that businesses are struggling and are recovering from the pandemic and that some are short of workers...so I get needing to be patient, but this is just an utter failure on all counts. Shameful.

The service contact was ok, explained everything. Transmission fluid change, didnt have filter & charged me for a resister & amplifier for fan that doesnt work. Waited 5 hours & this was an appointment, cost over $800.00. Not going back !

Chris the store manager has an absolutely inspiring attitude for the stress today has brought his location. He and all his staff are working do hard right now to service all of us before the holiday. I am so very grateful for him and his team. Merry Christmas guys I hope you all get to relax and enjoy some time off you deserve it!

He acknowledged the delay professionally, offered a sincere apology, and backed it by offering my a very generous discount on my bill. When I asked questions about the paperwork, he was willing to answer all my questions completely. I shipped my tires from Tire Rack to Firestone. I had Firestone do the installation. I had an appointment at 1:30 and my installation wasn’t complete until 2:45. I actually came in early and they started at 1:15. Great customer service and they are holding my tires so I can pick them up a few at a time since I have a small sedan. I am only on knocking off one star because of the wait and it looked like they over scheduled and didn’t have enough hands in the bay. Poor guys/gals were working on two plus cars at once. Very good at multi tasking but that can be taxing. Every one was super friendly and great service. Minus the time hack I am a very happy customer. 🙂

Do NOT go here if you care about your money. They are way overpriced for how little of work they do. I called and asked if I could bring my car in to have my headlight fuse replaced (very simple work), and they said it would cost $100 just for me to bring the car in and then we could talk about the cost of putting in the fuse. HA! I went to OReillys and for $4 bought a box of fuses and they put it in FOR FREE. Firestone also quoted me $760 to fix an oil leak that they claimed was as bad as a 3/5 on the scale of badness. Again...HA! Complete lies....I have driven 600 miles since they told me that and my oil has not gone down at all. DO NOT GO HERE. Are they nice? Sure, but I would be too if I was getting rich off of duping people who just want some help. Save your money and go to a ma and pa kind of shop or just see if a generic place like OReillys will do it for free.

So I took my car here a couple weeks ago to get 2 back tires replaced. I went to try and take my back tire off today to do some work and they stripped a lug nut and left it on car so I cant get it off now to do my work. So I called and asked if I could come by for them to take 1 lug nut off. I was told I had to wait or leave it over night for 1 lug nut to be removed not even the whole tire?

Service was excellant but tire availability for size not good. Had to wait to long for tires to get their. Had an online appt. came in for them and not there.

They fit me in last minute on Saturday despite being super busy. Not pushy with extra repairs. They got me back on the road and have great support.

Firestone at this location is the best most detailed auto repair tire shop. My car less than 24 hours ago was at a dealership called Zimbrick for voltswagon‘s recall on my VW they did a complete inspection of my car. They had the tires off checking the brakes. They wanted to charge me $30 to rotate my front tires. I said no going to firestone. The free service at firestone to rotate my tires in the car inspection turned up I had a brake light out 12 hours after being at Zimbrick who said my car was perfect, this is the best place to go don’t go anywhere else if you don’t have to. FirestoneKeeps excellent records they know how many miles my car had when I got my tires . They know when I rotated it last, when I got my last wiper blades, they check everything I don’t have to worry . I do not have time to be fixing my own car, I do not remember when I did the last tire rotation . This Firestone takes care of me very well, everyone was masked for social distancing. The waiting room was clean and chairs spaced.

I don’t take my car anywhere else, the staff has helped me allot during the years and my car is a 2012, I’m very happy with them and will continue business with them. Chris is one of the managers and always goes out of his way to make sure your satisfaction is priority. 😊

Hours later after my oil being changed, my tire was shut by a tempered slash. The Firestone tempered with my right rear tire they damaged my tire and try to insist to fix my tire not telling me the damage they done and telling my a quote that it will cost me $112.Of course i refused the service my tire was fine till i got there i went there for oil change not changing my tires.Ive learned the hard way on my account with their lies and horrible service.It took them over an hour to change a simple oil.Because of my past experience with firestone I refused the service on my tires since they didnt performed service successfully prior time on my tires yet i was charged for service they did not complete. Im dissatisfied customer. Wont go there again, so they can have another tire slashed. This is bs.

To begin with,Ive never had high expectations from the folks at this location(I know their work for the past 3 years),but today my disappointment reached new levels,so I had to share with you.1st:They quote me one prise on the phone and after job is done they ask for more money and they make up some bogus excuses to justify themselves.2nd: It is useless to give them instructions on the tire pressure you want,they will ignore it.3rd:If you have a dually pickup and they install your rear wheels in a way that is really hard(or impossible if you have big palms) to check the pressure of the inner tire...dont even bother asking to fix it,they will try to convince you that that is how the manufacturer wants them to do it.4th: This I learned the first couple of times I used their services...DO NOT let them check under the hood(Oil,filters etc.).The consistently overtighten the bolts of the air filter housing to the point of breaking the plastic ears of 2 of the 3 bolt locations.P.S. I suggest checking the lug nuts torque when you get home,I dont trust them,they are sloppy.

I installed a new suspension with new upper control arms on my 4runner, with an appt set a week in advance so that I knew I could get it aligned before our big trip.Timing was close but as long as everything went smooth it should have played out just fine. Firestone was the last piece of the puzzle and they completely dropped the ball. Arrived at my specified appointment time only to be told they would not do the alignment.I asked why and I was literally told by the manager that the employees working were not competent enough to do the alignment.When I set the appointment I told them what all was being done and what I was going to need when I arrived.Long story short, the 4Runner was unable to get an alignment done and our trip was canceled.While I appreciate you not touching my vehicle if you don’t know what you’re doing, I also feel as though you shouldn’t be running a business if your employees are not capable of doing their job properly and confidently.End Rant.Will not return.

Where else would you go for tires? It seems there arent a lot of places to go anymore. Thank goodness this place is still here. Ive been here twice and I have to say theyve always been friendly and accommodating. I had to drop off my car after hours this last time and they made it easy.The only downer is the waiting area.. way to boy .. luckily the mall is right there. Dropped off my car, did a little shopping, got a book at B&N and before I knew it, Patrick called to let me know it was ready.

Terrible service, little eye contact didnt seem concerned my truck was broke down. Had to walk out get service somewhere else. Never in my life have I had a business made me feel so insignificant. Theyre lucky they get one star if they had 0 I would pick that

Broke down and was towed to this location. The manager said he would give me a hand in just a minute but never did. I tracked him down an hour later and again asked for help. He was incompetent and had no idea how to remove a spline lug nut. He said it would most likely have to be a chiseled off because he didnt have the tool in his box. I asked if I could check another tool box and he said no. So I Ubered home got and got my tools and drove back 160 miles and fixed it within 6 minutes. I cant believe people like this are working on vehicles for a living....

I received personable, professional service with everyone I came in contact with. The price for services & product was a fair price, better than what I have experienced at other auto shops. I also appreciated not being up-sold on my clunker of a car. They respected that I just wanted the bare minimum, to keep it on the road until I get another vehicle. I would visit again for my future car needs as well as recommend to anyone!The only reason they did not get 5 stars is, per the survey I took online after my visit, I guess they do offer a few complimentary car/battery checks/assessments. I do not believe I was offered any of them when bringing my car in. I am assuming, because I made it clear I just wanted the bare minimum to keep my car on the road as it is a clunker, they didnt offer it. Honestly I most likely would have told them not to waste their time, as I am trying to replace my car. Not the end of my world and I still would go back and recommend them, based on service & price. Good to know for future visits though, especially with any new/newer cars being kept in good condition.

Subpar work. I’ve been twice and I regret going the second time. Brought it in for a tire leak got it back “fixed” and problems still remained. The tire pressure light was still on when I got I back. So no one even made sure.

Chris and his team did a fantastic job servicing 3 of my vehicles. They are timely, courteous and fair priced. Cant ask for more. Unless of course you are Ms G and you dont know the difference between tempered and tampered... Then yes, you can ask for more. Maam on the off chance you are reading this you are as dumb as you are grammatically inept.

Ive been here three times now: New tires; flat tire; oil change. I can say they are mostly friendly - it is a repair shop after all - the service is good and prices are reasonable. The waiting area is a bit blah - repair shop - but luckily its next to the mall!

We blew a tire east of the Dells the night before Thanksgiving. After calling all local shops, we decided to at least get to Madison. These guys were great. They got us in right away and got us on the road again!

I have been bringing my vehicle here for all of its service. The turnaround is faster than most and I appreciate that because I use my vehicle for work a lot. I think the prices are fair and the service is good plus being open weekends and longer hours helps get me back in the drivers seat much faster!

I cannot say enough good things about this company and location. I bought ONE tire a year ago and was treated as if I had purchased every service they had to offer. Service was quick and I was made to feel very comfortable. The supervisor at the time made it a point to come over and chat with me, give me her card, more information about their services and the check-in and check-out painless. I was very pleased with the prices and the service. Enough so that now I go to this location for all my car care issues. Oil changes are a snap and often discounted due to a promotion. Every time I call, the person on the other end is friendly, helpful and accommodating.This is the kind of company I enjoy doing business with.

Brought my car in, due to vibrations at hwy speeds and noise from the front left brake caliper. They said they couldnt feel vibrations at the speeds they are allowed to drive it on near their location, refused to bring it to the hwy where the issue is occurring. They said the front left brakes were fine, and basically refused to locate and or fix either of my problems, telling me to take it to the dealership. They are literally avoiding doing work, which cant be good for ownership. My car still vibrates weirdly at hwy speeds and the front left brake pad still gets hung up on the caliper after heavy braking but hey I got my tires balanced lmao what a joke

Great, speedy service. Was told my car would be available the next morning but it was done a few hours after I dropped it off. Ended up waiting to pick it up the next morning due to a snow storm. Really appreciate its right by the metro bus stop at the mall. Pricey as all car repair places are but I trust the workers there, my car now runs smoother than when I first bought it (used). Only funny thing was after I picked up my car the next morning, all the radio stations were switched to religious ones!

I was visiting Madison for the day when I noticed a nail in my tire. Firestone quoted a price of around $240 to replace the tire. I explained to them that I was only in town for one day and they ordered the tire. I left my vehicle and went shopping with my daughter and wife. Within 30 minutes, I received a call saying my vehicle was ready. When I got there, they indicated that there was no need to replace the tire and that there was no charge. Thanks for your honesty.

First experience so far was five star. Went for a headlight ($57)and they scanned my engine light (free- with printout of codes and possible causes/fixes). Found and Fixed a leak in my tire ($18)and threw in free rotation. Discussed the possibility of needing a new gas cap, & to my amazement it was suggested I go to dealership first for replacement because the aftermarket ones they stock are perhaps not as ideal as dealerships?! Obviously putting MY best interest first. I was pleasantly surprised when all my many questions were answered thoroughly. I Never felt rushed or like my inquiries were an annoyance (after all I am a mechanically-challenged female). Nice change from typical repair shop. Others should take notes. Keep customers happy and theyll come back. Thanks for making me feel like a valued customer!

Have been getting my car work done here for over 20 years. Great place. They are not the cheapest, but quality, guaranteed work done and done quickly. I can drop the van off and come back, or wait for the work by shooting over to the mall. We have bought - or not bought - cars after getting their car inspection done (30-40 bucks) all over the midwest, and TX. The brand is consistantly trustworthy, and if you become a card holder, we have saved thousands of dollars with special savings. Not perfect, not the cheapest, we just find great value in trusting the can do attitude from Chis and the team.

The people at the east towne store are wonderful. The shop manager Patrick Michelson is the best!!! He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things in street terms. I’ve had excellent service there every time.

Good place for tires, but dont trust them when they tell you that something else is wrong (like brakes). They said I needed new front brakes and gave me a $600 estimate. Called a trusted mechanic in Madison to get a quote....$399. Took the car into the trusted mechanic only to find out the brakes are just fine. They used to fo this to me in the past also. I had a Suburban that I had gotten tires and a lifetime alignment from them. Every other time I would take it in for a tire rotation and to check the alignment they would tell me that something was wrong. Nothing was ever wrong with that either. Always get a second opinion if its more than tires.

I made an appointment and still waited 2 hours for tires to be replaced. Wish I knew it would take that long, I would have brought a book and packed a lunch lol.Also, none of the staff were wearing masks. Great place to get sick

Excellent customer service! Helped us choose the right tires for our vehicles by explaining all of our options. Took the time to find out what we were looking for in a tire, i.e comfort, economy, road noise reduction, etc. And got us a great set if tires that fit our budget. 10 stars!!

Have been going to them for almost two years for oil changes and various repair work and have had great service. This visit I was told my license plate and side runner bulbs were out and they would be $3 installed to replace. I said sure go ahead, who wouldnt? They turned out to be $3 each bulb PLUS $12 installation for each bulb. A $35 oil change turned into a $100+ bill over 4 light bulbs...I will not be going back.Edit: Changed from 2 to 4 stars.Less than a week after posting the review the location manager contacted me. She was very nice and wanted to hear more about my experience. She offered to refund the cost for installation and bulbs because of the miscommunication. I went in to collect the refund and they didnt make me feel uncomfortable or try to get me to buy something else right away. Ill give them another chance next time I need an oil change.

After my dealership totally dropped the ball on an appointment I had made for snow tires, the Firestone guys got me in last minute on a busy Saturday and had the right tires brought over, by taxi, from a storage facility across town. When the tires were accidentally brought to the wrong place, an employee drove there himself, picked them up, and had them put on technically after hours. They were very considerate and gave me a bit of a courtesy discount for sitting there for over 2 hours waiting. Friendly staff went the extra mile for me, literally. And the tires are good. :D Ill be back.

I have to give a shout out and kudos to Firestone on Madisons east side. I recently had my car in the shop for some maintenance and repairs. From the moment I dropped it off until I picked it up, I received excellent customer service from Jed, Christine, Chris and others. They were good at giving me regular updates on the work being done. And, were very patient each time I said, Can you hold for a moment while I ask my husband? :-)Firestone rocks!

I took my truck in for an oil change and asked for them to check out my wheel bearing because it had been running loudly. After coming back with a $2200 + tax quote for a multitude of front end suspension issues, they were kind enough to offer me a credit card to save some money. Took my truck to a different business because that price was insane for similar work I had done on a previous vehicle where they actually found some things that had been missed and still cost half the price.

Honest and competent...what more can you ask of an automotive repair shop?

Took my truck in to get my fuel pump replaced. Was leaving work one day and lost most of my gas and my truck wouldnt start. After they fixed it. Poor customer service when it was there Fault. Had to argue with a guy on the phone for about 10 mins and Had to get it back towed to their location and not have a vehicle for work on my expense. Because their lack of knowledge to put an O ring back on when they attempted to fix it. I will never go back. If they were more understanding when they messed up then maybe but if I have to fight on the phone with someone because of their actions, not worth it.

Traveling through and developing tire problems. We stopped here and they took us in immediately. Excellent service and very friendly. Very reasonable price as well! Thank you.

There was a problem with some previous work, the manager acknowledgedthe mistake and took care of it to my satisfaction. I will return to Firestone.

The staff was very friendly at pick up and drop off. also when i spoke to a technican about my car he explained what they recommended now and the next time i get my oil changed. i really liked it, it helped me feel comfortable that they werent adding unnecessary things on but just cared about my car and my budget.

I sat around for 30 minutes waiting for them to give me my vehicle which was already done but no one would help me pay so I just had to wait. An hour and thirty min for an oil change...Less than 100 miles down the road my check engine light comes on for something within the emissions system.Not long after that my vehicle now has an annoying squeaking noise coming from the front end.I drive a 2016 vehicle which has never had any problems and has been well maintained.

Took my car in to have a set of tires mounted, balanced, and aligned. The mounting/balancing cost over 100 bucks which I thought was way to much. The alignment has a 12 month warranty. Got in the same day I called. The work they did was good, just expensive.

We arrived at firestone with out an appointment with a leaking tire. They quickly assessed the situation and were able to repair the tire in a timely manor. They also rebalanced the tire and topped off our washer fluid for our long trip back to Florida. Thank you to the staff at firestone for getting us back on the road.

Ive been going to them for a solid two years and I usually just get an oil change and tire rotation. For some reason, the last few Ikes Ive been here have taken over an hour and a half to complete. I understand that they can get busy but I am sitting in the building now and I have been waiting over two hours and the guy just called me over. I most likely wont be coming back just based on the lentgh of time for a simple oil change. More than once is inexcusable

Watch out for their Chinese tires. They are junk.

I guess people only ever leave reviews when they want to complain. Ive never had any problems with this auto care shop, the only complaint I have against them is that theyre too busy at times, and you can wind up waiting a good long while to talk to someone. Whenever Ive gone to them theyve always gone the extra mile for me.

Got the work done in good time and fit me in to a tight schedule but they left the lug nuts loose on all four wheels. Didn’t realize it until our vehicle began to shutter badly going down the road. Fortunately we caught the problem before a wheel came loose all the way. The rear driver’s side wheel had only two lug nuts out of five that were not finger loose. Somebody missed something.

3 strikes and your out! 3 attempts to get an alignment done! This time my carpet got all greased up from Techs shoes. Waited for over 4 hours! Will do business elsewhere. There prices are right but....

Standard realignment for my lifetime alignment. Fast friendly knowledgeable staff. I almost didnt come here because of the terrible online reviews. Although, I didnt notice any reason why not to come to this facility. 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 341,128 miles.

Actual service is decent but every time I call I get put on hold for 10+ min. I usually end up just hanging up. Once I decided to wait on hold and just see how long it would be, after 30 min, my phone started to die

I had replaced the front calipers, rotors and pads myself. I was having trouble getting the air out of the line. I went in asking for them to bleed the brakes. They told me that they needed to do a full inspection because they might blow a brake line.YOU CANNOT BLOW A BRAKE LINE FROM SIMPLY BLEEDING THE BRAKES.

Wrenched metal caps onto my tires and blamed me for it. They will not come off unless you break the sensors on the tires. They broke the Tire Pressure Gauge on my vehicle when rotating tires and refused to take ownership for the mistake.
