Super nice people who remember you

I go here to work on a boat. Never been inside the place, but seems decent. Nice people, when Ive seen them. A little overgrown. And the exit has a wicked hairpin turn if youre turning right. But great place to store your boat.

I had purchased a boat used from Dwight at the Boat Center a few months back and had a horrific experience. when purchased- Dwight wrote me up a agreement stating that boat would be bottom painted, fully detailed and 100% water ready. before any of this was complete boat was still shrink wrapped on dry dock I received a call from bank stating I was late on 1st payment? I contacted Dwight and he apologized for processing loan prior to meeting his agreement, my boat had sat on dry dock for 2 months after-and when it was in water they could not get my vessel to stop overheating? after they fixed overheating problem they never bottom painted or detailed as stated in his agreement. 3 payments later they finally painted-never detailed-I had my kids go down to wash and clean-I never even test drove boat-once I test drove the power trim and trim tabs did not work. the mechanic stated to use this way and they will pull back out to repair-instead the 1st time I used it the boat would not go into gear and I got stuck out in sound-I called Dwight and he didnt want nothing to do with this? he told me to anchor and leave until he thought of something and not to contact Sea Tow due to extreme billing. I was very upset and scared out in sound with just my 10 year old daughter. luckily someone came by in a rowboat and brought daughter and I to shore. the worst part is that the boat anchor came loose and boat washed up to shore. boat was destroyed and paid from insurance. I lost all my personal belongings and my 4000 dollar deposit, total of 3 payments and most of all lost my boat. I cant stop thinking of my horrible experience and my daughter now being petrified of boats. I have spoke to a few people and they had mentioned if I was going to take any legal actions. I have not done anything like that before, but the more I think of warm weather and purchasing another vessel (from Brewers Yacht Club) and hopes of my daughter ever coming aboard-I am going to proceed with legal action and take Boat Center to court. I hope this is read by many and please be careful of this place.

Very helpful parts staff. Followed up regularly to address incorrect order from supplier. Will continue to patronize.
