Our experience was wonderful! Weve been wanting to buy a pool table for quite some time and found a beautiful used table at a great price. The owner, John, is great to work with and provides excellent customer service. The installers were very professional and did a meticulous job. Also, we were impressed with the wide selection for any price range.

The Midwest guys were great. They were on time, went right to work, set up my table with new cloth with no issues. Love my new table too. :)

Watch out dealing with owner John, he is a typical salesmen all smiles and lies to your face. To be fair I just dont think he writes anything down but in the end its the same outcome, cannot keep any facts straight, late on delivery, changed price on me twice, very hositle when pushed about his mistakes. Make sure you get delivery date in writing, they will push others in front of you to make a sale if needed.Installation crew was nice and very capable.

This is a place that requires some understanding, but it will (should) all end very well.Products are great. Intentions are great.It is family owned. And with that comes some passion, which may be why there are a few less than perfect reviews. And even I had a couple issues. But, they care. They truly do. If you have a little patience and talk to them, you will be very happy.They have a great selection. Hand picked. Quality. Can work with every price point.And they will do their best to do right by you.Work with them. Communicate. You will be pleased.

I bought a very nice, used, pool table from Midwest Billiards at a very reasonable price. The owner let me choose whatever felt I wanted and even let me choose the much more expensive worsted wool cloth. The table purchase even included setup. The setup guys were AMAZING. They knew there stuff and got the table set PERFECT. They worked efficiently and had no problem with me watching. I typically do EVERYTHING myself but this is NOT something to attempt yourself folks. These guys are pros!! After everything was finished the owner called me personally to make sure I was pleased! Very very happy with the whole experience.

Delivery and setup was very well done. Im extremely happy with my table. When asked for some assistance with the table they were more than happy to help.

Just called and had the worst customer service experience ever. Laughed at me and my questions. I wouldent call about a diamond brand product if I didnt know what i was looking for.

Buying and originally setting up my used pool table was mostly fine. Flash forward to having to have it reassembled and re-felted after being moved.Made an appointment three weeks out for 9am. Called him at 10am. He said, Well, youre not on the schedule for today. He asked if I had my receipt, implied I probably have the date and time wrong. He had no real recollection of what he was doing for us, what felt it was supposed to be, what table it was, or anything. He also appears to have lost the paperwork. I had to take the day off work to be around and they flaked out. This is for a service we paid in full in advance, $700. Waiting to see if he can pull something and get people out today yet. [see edits]Also be forewarned that if you go in there he is like a used car salesman. High pressure sales, ignores what you tell him and continues to try to upsell you on things you dont want. A lot of the stuff hell throw in for free to make a sale is absolute junk, as well. Got a set of cues and a cue rack thrown in when I bought it, realized later they are almost worthless. Like getting a used car, though, you can haggle with him over just about everything, so thats something, but he will fleece you if he can.They do set-up and felt and repair tables flawlessly, but make sure you triple-confirm the appointment or he might just forget about it.EDIT: Hes managing to send some people out to still get it done today, so at least my day off wasnt a total waste. But wasted 9am-1pm sitting around and waiting for them.EDIT #2: Owner called me on a Sunday to make sure everything went right which would have been fine, but then questioned me about this review and wanted me to change it. So yes, they did eventually get to us at 1pm and they did a good job with the set up and felt. Calling me to complain about my review is an interesting move though. Overall they lost a customer going forward. Maybe youll have a different experience, but this is mine.

Super sweet and helpful lady. Nobody pressured me into buying anything and they even have a dart board/ pool table to try stuff out.

I had decided to cancel my pool table break down, move and reassemble due to numerous reasons. Too many to go into. Read the other comments. They have a good chunk of what I experienced. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

I highly recommend Midwest Billiards. My Connelly was delivered today by professionals and the table exceeds my expectations. It took awhile to have the table built, but it was worth the wait. If you are looking for a pool table, talk to John.

Got a great pool table from here and an awesome Bucky badger table with matching stools for a great price. They even threw in some really awesome pool cues!!! Thank you!!!!!!!

Called to ask a question on pool tables. Jon laughed when I asked if they carry felt for recovering a table, was rude to me ( Im female). When I handed the phone to my husband his tone changed, called him sir. He was still rude and came across that we were stupid and didnt know what we were asking about. They just lost a potential customer forever.

Customer service was good, however the pricing is not very competitive.

So helpful and worked to please both of us:)
