Dave and his team are great.I went in for a brake job, which I typically get at the dealership.I had a bunch of questions about price range and parts. They went over all of my options, the costs and the benefits in terms that made sense.Dave went over their process, why it was necessary, and what to expect.Theyre unbelievably thorough and they take their work very seriously.They were able to get me in same day and their prices are reasonable.I cant believe I had been taking my car someplace else.Wisconsin Automotive will be doing all of my repairs from now on.

I brought my car in last week to diagnose an exhaust leak and a squeak when my clutch is engaged. They were able to take my car in the next day, and had resolved the exhaust leak by late afternoon of the same day. Dave was very helpful in explaining what the issue was and what they did to resolve. The customer service here is fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable. Dave was up front about what was and wasn’t worth fixing, and took some time to chat cars when I went to pick it up.

With four vehicles, I have used Wisconsin Automotive on several occasions. They understand vehicles (and the people that drive them) and they know how to fix them right. No need to worry about getting ripped off. They are great people who provide excellent service at a reasonable price. Very fortunate to have such a wonderful business in our neighborhood!

I am so impressed with the professionalism and customer care provided by everyone at Wisconsin Automotive. Recently, my car had to be kept over the weekend to complete the repairs. Dave came in on a Sunday afternoon to work on my car so that repairs were complete by Monday. Steve and Dave are excellent mechanics and have earned our loyalty since my wife and I moved to Madison in 2018.

I picked Wisconsin Automotive because of the perfect 5 star rating. I was not disappointed and I highly recommend taking your vehicle here for any repairs. The service was excellent, affordable, and extremely fast. I will never go to another mechanic/dealer.

Our vehicle is getting on in age and they didnt try and get us to spend more than necessary. They were very open and honest, even to the point where they showed me the parts that needed replacement and explained the technical stuff in a way that I could understand without speaking down to me or making me feel inferior.They are a family run business right in our neighbourhood and thats an added bonus, as we dont have to arrange for transport. My dog also appreciates it because she gets an extra walk out of our business with Wisconsin Automotive.There is a lovely atmosphere and friendliness here and they go the extra mile to get the work done on time. We are very happy with our experience here.

This is an outstanding automotive service shop. I’ve taken two vehicles to them with challenging issues. At every turn (sorry, I had to pun) they have been personable, professional, honest, and charged reasonable rates. I will be taking all my service and repair needs to them.

I stopped in after waiting 2 weeks for my former mechanic to get me in. My car had lost power and was horribly loud. Dave got me in the next day, they were open at 7am for a pre-work drop off and I picked my car up after starting supper with no issues. The service I received was wonderful and my car is back to full power and ninja quiet. What was needed was clearly explained and price was more than fair. I now have a new mechanic and couldnt be happier to support my neighborhood family owned business.

Husband stopped in without an appointment and the owner was able to diagnose the issue. My car was ready to go in a couple of hours. Very professional, clean and great price. Highly recommend!

These people have been so good to me so good to me they are excellent good truck that I bought has was broke down from the beginning they had nothing to do with it Im thankful that they looked over my little attitude and they fix my truck and it still looks like its the same truck so the truck was damaged when I bought it they had nothing to do with it they are very good to me and I really appreciate them

Honest! This is a family run business, and they guarantee their work. My Kia has issue after issue, and they went above and beyond to ensure it was done right. They could have charged me so much more - but did not. This is the first auto shop I have been to that I trust... that says a lot.

I took my BMW 328xi to get my crankshaft position sensor fixed with Dave. I called a few other places beforehand to get quotes, but went with Wisconsin Automotive because I felt more comfortable with the customer service and how fast they could get my car in. Dave seemed very passionate about his work and assured me he’d be the one working on my car. They did not disappoint! Only took a couple hours for the fix and when I returned to pick up my car Dave showed me the old sensor and explained why it needed to be replaced. They are super friendly and professional - I will definitely be doing back!

Great, friendly service! Got us in for multiple car services within 24 hours. Clean waiting room with coffee, a comfy sofa, and TV.Within walking distance of a Walgreens, a hair salon, a Mexican sub shop, and a Culvers if you dont want to wait at the shop.Highly recommend.

My son needed repairs on his vehicle and was short of cash. They diagnosed the problem quickly and worked with him to take care of only what was needed at the time.
