I have had issues with my tire going flat for nearing a week. I wasnt able to take my vehicle to a shop during the week due to work. Today, Sunday, I finally had time to take it to have the tire checked.I first tried Firestone in Madison, and as always, they were completely booked and stated they could not get to my vehicle until Monday. Luckily, to my surprise, Mavis was open. I did not know before today they are open on Sundays. I drove straight over. I was asked if I would be waiting or leaving while my vehicle was being checked. I waited. It took about 45 minutes to get my vehicle in the bay, but once it was back it only too about 15 minutes for them to find the problem and fix it. The valve stem needed to be replaced. They replaced the valve stem and had me out the door in minutes.The lady helping me at the front desk was very helpful and nice. I will definitely be returning here in the future for my vehicle maintenance needs!

The store in Madison has given me the best services anyone can ever ask for. I would like to thank Brad for communication on my vehicle, and how he handles his store through these rough times. Him and Noah who worked on my car have very good chemistry when it comes to taking care of customers. Thank you guys!!!!

I had a flat tire Friday morning and I was devastated! I normally visit the store on I-55 but I ended up at the Strawberry Hill location and it was the best decision I could’ve ever made! Screwed up my reservation for 9AM. Front desk was rude to my wife and instead of honoring our appointment put her in line behind 4 others. I talked directly to staff to schedule my appointment. Poor customer service and untrustworthy reservation system. Don’t bank on the time they give you. Almost 1:30 PM now. Still no car. Car has been there since 9AM.

Dechelle has help with everything and was patient and kind. Helping me with my financial options.

I had a tire sensor light come on early this morning so I took my car over to Mavis tire in Madison that is where I met Brad. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly and really knew what he was doing. He checked all of my valve sensors and let me know they were all still good and adjusted the tire pressure and with a handheld computer he reset the tire sensor on the dash. He was very professional and I was in and out of there very quickly. I recommend that if you have anything going on with your tires or you just need new tires go on in and ask for Brad and he’ll fix you right up. Thanks again Brad

We are somewhat far from home (from the Gulf Coast) and had a flat tire. David quickly got our tire patched and replaced the donut with the newly fixed tire! Although I had a big ticket today with number of things to be done on my car, I had a very pleasant today.Eric the person who did my initial intake was very professional and courteous. He took the time to understand what I needed done and the time he estimated that the service would take was pretty much spot on, sooner actually. (I was prepared to do a good bit of waiting) He took the time to show me and not just tell what was going on with one of my rotors and he and the other young lady, Makita, I believe, made the wait bearable by keeping me updated on the status of my car, and was very patient when I had inquiries.I really appreciate good customer service and the Mavis reps are a great example of that. I had been driving to Flowood for car maintenance, but it looks like I’ve found my new car people closer to home!!Oh and my car is riding and sounding much better!

I did not have a good experience at this location. I had an appointment the but was contacted a day early and asked to come in due to them not being busy. It took over two hours to mount two tires. Both tires that were mounted were filthy with residue and neither tire had the correct pressure in them. The tires were even 6 pounds different between tires. It was clear that the level of professionalism in the work was not good.

I took two cars for same-day services (one for tires and one for preventive maintenance). Pleasant, professional people all around. Most importantly, they communicate well. I had my own tires but no appointment . They got me in and out I’m 3 hours . Saved my day.

July 2021- Tried a couple of times to get an oil change. Like many places, the business is struggling to accommodate demand. The service manager did all he could to make it right and I was able to get the service I came for, plus. Friendly front desk lady. I’m the end, I’m satisfied with Mavis in Madison. Just remember, with what’s going on in any service industry, you’ll need to prepare to be patient. And remember to be kind- the business hates the wait as much as we do!

So I went in to get a new set of tires, brakes replaced and an oil change. They were able to get get my tires ( big mud tires ) that day which was a plus . When I got my truck back my tire sensor light was on which was odd because there wasn’t an issue with them when I dropped my truck off. That was a Thursday and I had to leave town that day . I carried my truck back to see what the issue was assuming they just needed to be recalibrated . The guy in charge ( Brad ) tells me his equipment wasn’t able to accurately read what was going on . So after consulting with another tire dealer I went back to give them a chance to fix it . Brad told me that 3 sensors quit working because the batteries died ….. Three? All at once ?…. Mysteriously on the same day they we’re working on them ? ….Ok if you told me one died I’d be like, ok replace it, but three?…. Really ?…..

I brought a brand new tire to mavis that had less than a 1000 miles on this tire that got a small penny nail in the tread but a little on the side. They would not patch repair the tire and wanted me to buy a new tire from them. They indicated this is unsafe but I have a patch already in the tire that has worked for weeks. I needed it repaired on the inside which was safer. Since they would not repair, it has made it unsafe. This is the third time I brought my vehicle to this shop for a tire issue that they would not resolve. Need a tire, wait 3 hours and we will get to it was a response previously. This shop has turned into a joke. Never get your car served here!!!

This Mavis location has earned my trust! I have had other car service locations tell me my car needs something that it didnt. But this Mavis goes the extra mile to explain and SHOW me why my car needs a certain repair. And it helps GREATLY that I was able to get their credit card with from 6mos to 12mos no interest on large expenses. They remember my name when I walk in. What else can I say to convince you. ( And I am not related to anyone here. Ha!)

I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.If a could give it a negative 15 I would.I highly recommend if you go to this place only go when the head mechanic is there. They messed up my car due to lack of experience. The papeworks reads false also when it comes to whats done to your vehicle. I will say the managment will try to fix the issue after the fact, However management is not the one working on the vehicle . I WILL NEVER GO BACK..
