I was very disappointed with the service I received today. I purchased my vehicle here a few years ago. Came back today for some recall work and an oil change. Not a single one of the 4 people present at the service desk said hello or even made eye contact for over 7 minutes. Someone else walked in and asked if Id been helped.When the work was done I was presented with the bill. No explanation of what was done/replaced/repaired. I was told my check engine light was on but they didnt run a check to see why. The only positive was that the work didnt take longer than they predicted.

The staff in the service dept was really friendly and made sure I was aware of the status of my car the whole time. Daniel in particular, made sure I knew where everything was while I was waiting during the maintenance. I was in and out in a lot shorter time than the initial estimated time, which was also nice. All in all, I was very happy with the experience.
The service I received at Metro Kia was excellent and very quick. I never feel pressured, but the staff does offer knowledgeable advice and are very friendly.
I had an urgent need to get my rear brakes replaced. I called Metro Kia and the scheduler was very personable and accommodating. She scheduled me for an appointment just a little more than two hours later. I figured it would be several days before they could get me in.Once I took the car to the dealer, again the customer service was second to none. I could tell they were busy but even so, you would have thought I was the only one there as they were attentive to my every need.They had a shuttle awaiting me in no time and took me directly home. The shuttle driver was very nice, as well. The work was done a couple of hours later as they said it would be. The same shuttle driver picked me up and my car was ready. All of my dealings with Metro Kia have been this good.
Brandon was my sales point, very helpful and enjoyed the whole shopping experience. The customer service was very accommodating and expedited regarding dealing with some warranty changes that I made after signing which was refreshing. Would certainly recommend. The only issue had was that I was nearly charged for pin-striping on the vehicle when the vehicle didnt have it, so just as always, be careful reviewing prices on the contracts; they removed and reprinted the contract easy enough.

OMG I dont even know where to start. I dropped my car off with the service dept today for recall work. I believe it was Daniel who helped me. Helpful, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable --- it was terrific! I tried to get this work done at Russ Darrow Kia. They were a nightmare! If Metro Kia provides service like this, I will NEVER go back to Darrow. So far comparing the 2 is apples to oranges!

Was here last month for service that would have been covered under warranty. Instead Im told the fee to analyze the problem is $100.00; at check out, it was $150.00. Was told the transmission fluid needs to be changed instead of what I asked to be checked. Was told & I quote This is not a warranty issue, but Ill check.Needless to say, the problem is STILL THERE!!😡🤬 BUYER BEWARE AT THIS LOCATION.They further tell me they pull ONE spark plug and quote $500.00 plus dollars to have the rest replaced.🤑🤬🤪😡AGAIN, BUYER BEWARE. And no response from the survey or the email that was sent from the manager!!! Typical lack of customer concern or service.

I worked with Justin S. to purchase my Kia Sorento. I knew what I wanted - color, engine size, features for interior. I appreciated that he showed me exactly what I wanted. To ensure I was making the decision I wanted he did show the options both in features and engines. I appreciated this. He was not pushy and I appreciated his approach to how I wanted to purchase the car. I am giving him 5 stars. I will share I didnt appreciate the transition from Sales to Purchasing/ Finance. Anyone going here should know there is little to no negotiating on the price. This was the first time purchasing a care where I didnt sit with the Finance staff when my credit was run and the details of the sale walked through - the communication was poor. I had to make the Finance staff member walk through all the paper work. In addition, I did purchase the warranty, but no warranty documentation provided as proof and the Sales Manager was put out when I requested this documentation; crazy since I need to have proof should I have a warranty issue. Justin did help me navigate all of this. I did feel bad the sales to purchase process is not transparent to the sales staff and I would never hold the sales staff responsible for this. Once I was finally done dealing with the Finance staff - Justin was great and walked me through the whole vehicle, features and tips - that was the best service I had post sale with a sales rep in several car purchases. I appreciated Justins knowledge and service. Outstanding!
Anytime Ive gone to Metro Kia, whether it be for routine maintenance checkups, repairs, or new parts, they are friendly, organized, and timely. They also are great at explaining any findings or concerns. Additionally, they are always up to date on any applicable safety recalls. They never make me feel pressured to have anything done to my vehicle that I dont deem to be necessary. Their waiting area is big, clean, and modern.

Oil change experience was good with fine outcome. Only mild concern is that even with a scheduled appt time, the service time frame ended up being almost 1 1/2 hours, which seems longer than usual. I realize they also do a tire rotation which added value. Their discounted price for an oil change is fantastic, so I am not really complaining. Will continue being loyal customer.TB

Katie emailed me when I exhibited interest in a car online. I emailed back, then called with a question on a listing that said to call for price. I left a message on her voicemail (yes, giving my phone number and repeating it slowly twice), and never received a callback. She emailed giving me times for test drives, no answer to my question. Id prefer to do business with a professional who returns phone calls.
Beyond ridiculous took over 3 hours for an oil change even with an appointment. Wont use them ever again.

Service department is awful. No help whatsoever. They are not going to go out of their way to help you. The engine went on my 2017 Kia Soul with only 48000 miles on it! Had to wait to see if Kia would APPROVE the new engine under my warranty. Have been told I wont have a car for over a month and they were not helpful at all. No loaners, no help just a courtesy ride home.
Absolutely the best dealership!! My last 2 purchases were quick and easy. They delivered my vehicles within 3 hours of me saying yes! My salesman Joe was amazing, he personally delivered my vehicles, brought all the paperwork to sign, and was on his way. Absolutely the easiest, most convenient car purchases i have ever made!!

I took my car in for an oil change, tire rotation and to have the brakes checked because I noticed squeaking in the morning. Christy, my service advisor was very helpful in explaining to me what the numbers mean on the multi-point inspection. She estimated my waiting time to almost the exact minute.

Went in for a tire repair. Was told there was an open recall for a software update they would perform free of charge. Was not advised that this might alter the performance of the vehicle and result in additional charges. After the update my Soul went into something called limp mode, so I limped it back down the highway unable to exceed 30 mph to have them undo the free software update for a charge of $158. When I made my concerns known, the best the service manager Kristy could say was that I should have gotten a letter in the mail about the recall and therefore should have known.After all that, the next day, the tire was still leaking so I took it to Firestone. $35 for an unsuccessful tire repair, $158 to undo something they did in the first place all just to get back to square one. Dealerships in general have a bad reputation for being mercenaries. Metro Kia certainly lived up to it

He answered all of my questions and was very patient with me while I did some homework.Would definitely recommend this dealership, and Jose and Gavin specifically.Jose called after a few days to make sure I didnt have any questions or need help with any of the features of my car. It felt great to have that connection and know I could ask questions if I needed to. I only had 1 or 2 for him because he did such a great job showing me the features while I was buying it.
I had a recall on my Kia and I scheduled an appointment for that to be fixed and also was able to get my oil changed and tires rotated all at the same time. The wait time for all that to be done was short and I was on my way within a little over an hour.

Brandon and Katie really worked with us throughout the process, from coming in on days off to meet our schedule, responding to e-mailed questions, and generally assuring us that they would do what was necessary to make us comfortable as we made our decision.
Purchased a brand new vehicle here less than a year ago. Between the oil changes and another issue we have already had to take it in for, this place never fails to disappoint every single time. Have been dealing with technology issues within the car for over a month now, have left multiple messages for the service department (just to try MAKING an appt to bring it in, still covered under warranty) and have never once gotten a return call. Called today for their service department, got transferred to someone in a different department and was told he would take my name and number, walk it over to them, and be sure they would return my call in “about five minutes”. That was four hours ago. Tried calling again this evening and was given a laundry list of varying excuses as to why they don’t return calls 🙄 Never in my life have I experienced repeatedly sub par, seriously poor customer service again and again. Metro Kia employs and condones their staff that don’t give a darn, and don’t make even the smallest effort to back their product and take care of their customers. I cannot recommend to anyone enough - take your business and purchase your vehicle elsewhere! Metro Kia is NOT worth the headache, especially in an area like Madison where there are literally dozens of other dealership options, that’s for sure!

DO NOT GO TO METRO KIA. Many of the staff werent wearing masks and/or had their masks pulled down.Also, I made an appointment for 11:30 and I had to wait an hour and a half for a simple oil change. What was the point of making an appointment then?? In a pandemic, I dont want to wait around INDOORS with a bunch of people not wearing masks. Seriously. Dont go to metro kia!!!
Absolutely would not recommend this dealer. I came in on 2 different occasions to discuss a new car purchase and the numbers they drew up were markedly different each time. The final coat was initially quoted at $995 and the second time it was $1195. I was told at that point it was always $1195. I saw the same car at another dealer for over $2000 less but was told by the salesman that the new models are not being discounted anywhere. Every time I mentioned something contradictory I was met with another excuse. I felt lowballed on my trade and the worst part was having them run my credit when they distinctly said they would not. I would not trust the salespeople. There are surely better dealers out there. Don’t trust them.
I had a great experience at Kia! They made sure I understood all of the features in my new 2021 Telluride. I didn’t feel pressured to make a purchase. I didn’t intend to buy a vehicle today, but I was too impressed by Braden’s knowledge to not leave with a new car!! Thank you Metro Kia!!!
On the plus side, the staff were great to work with and very friendly. Salespeople werent too pushy and I was able to get the right vehicle for me with a free trailer hitch installation. Unfortunately, when I got my loan paperwork I was blindsided by how it ended up being $3,000 more than I had thought. Evidently, in all the pricing paperwork, a down payment of $3,000 was included in the price making the car seem $3,000 cheaper than it was. Ended up buying the car, thinking it was at the perfect price point according to Kelly Blue Book, only to find out I paid about $2,000 more than than the high end of what it was worth. If you shop here, get some clarification.

I always take my car into their service dept! They dont push unnecessary repairs, and charge a reasonable rate when they are needed. Im always treated with such welcome and the customer amenities are a nice touch!

Took my new kia in to get an oil change and the tires inspected before our trip, i was denied an oil change and they said nothing was wrong with my car, but i need new tires, found out all i needed was an alignment, an alignment is much cheaper then 4 tires.
We can’t say enough great things about our experience with Metro Kia. We came in to look at Tellurides, Jose greeted us and was very helpful through the entire process. He was knowledgeable on the vehicle and was an all around great sales person. The finance manager, Eric, was awesome and really helped us decide the best route for purchasing a vehicle for our family. Financing or buying a car is confusing and he truly had our best interest in mind and got us the best deal he could. We are so happy with our Telluride and it’s all thanks to Metro Kia! This Dealership is awful there salesman lie and are EXTREMELY Deceitful. they will try to Nickle and Dime you for everything! Our blinker quit working on our 2020 Sorrento 6 months after buying it and they wont even look at it without paying them $150 even though it should be under warranty. Stay AWAY!!!!! GO TO ANOTHER DEALER.....

Between two visits I think we were on site for 3 hours, that includes paperwork, 4 test drives, waiting for banks, final delivery AND the 30 minutes me and my wife needed to discuss all the cars we had looked at.With regards to financing, Metro was able to beat my best approval letter by a full percentage point, which was incredible.Ive always had great luck with kias, and would definitely consider Aiden at metro Kia a priority stop if Im in need again.

If I could give a negative score, I would. We bought a new car from this dealer, and in two months they were not able to release the title of the car we need in order to register the car in Illinois and get license plates. So we bought a car that we cannot drive because of their inability to do their job. Once they secure the payment and get the monthly payment, they do not answer to any attempt of communication in any form. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else, you can thank me later...
