It was a pleasure to work with them from the time I made the initial hearing exam appointment to getting my new Phonak Paradise hearing aids fitted and tuned-in, to the follow-up office visit I just left. My appointments started on time. The friendly, knowledgeable staff conducted multiple hearing tests and I received my new aids on time as promised. And all at a reasonable price.At age 62, due to a mild hearing loss, I got my first Oticon in-the-ear hearing aids for both ears. I liked those hearing aids, but after 4 years, I began to have a couple of issues. I was fumbling when replacing the tiny 10-sized batteries every 4 or 5 days. I was having trouble cleaning and replacing the T-caps over the microphones. I was afraid ear wax build up was affecting their performance. I could not adjust or finetune those hearing aids myself. And they did not have Bluetooth capabilities.When I saw Elite’s advertisement for a free hearing exam and a great offer on the new Phonak Paradise over-the-ear hearing aids, I jumped at the chance to check them out. They are rechargeable, they connect directly to my cellphone and a TV connector over Bluetooth. They are easy to adjust with the Phonak app on my phone. The over-the-ear design allows me to hear more sounds coming from the sides as well as directly in front of me. And as a bonus, I am told, they are not as susceptible to moisture damage.The only drawbacks I’ve seen so far are: it took just over a week to get used to the new amplification and clarity, one of the hearing aids didn’t charge because I didn’t have it fully seated in the charging station and the battery charge lasts 24 hours as long as I have Bluetooth to my phone disconnected. With Bluetooth on, the battery lasts 16-18 hours on one charge.All in all, I look forward to working with Elite Hearing Centers in Macon for years to come. And I thank them for a smooth and effortless transition to my new hearing aids. Everything is sounding great now!

My mom is very pleased with the hearing aids she received here. Over the many years she used Beltone but could not hear very well even with her hearing aids. The hearing aids she purchased at Elite Hearing Center are far superior to all those she purchased in the past and were a lower cost! I have been very impressed with the time James Harrison has spent trying to fit me with the best hearing aids for me. The hearing I am experiencing now and the ease of making the necessary adjustments to increase and decrease hearing has definitely made live better. I love my new Phonak Marvel hearing aids! I have had Phonak for the last 5 years and have been very impressed with the ability to hear in the most difficult situations. My new Phonaks are even better with all the added technology and connectivity, they are great. Oh, being rechargeable is the best feature of all. NO MORE BATTERIES, YES!!! Our local staff is very friendly and will go above and beyond to help. If you need hearing aids, give them a try, you wont regret it.

I am a 30 year Navy vet who as a sub Sailor got a hearing test every 6-9 months for over 22 years. I gradually saw my hearing decline; the Navy offered no assistance but said that everyones hearing does that over the years. I was referred to Mr James Harrison of Elite Hearing Macon, was given the most comprehensive hearing exam I ever had, AND, had it ALL explained to me. I was actually shown the charts which graphed my hearing.
