Just look for the Shanes sign! This is my favorite place to get breakfast or lunch in the area. They have the best breakfast biscuits and lunch-line in the afternoon. Its all made fresh every day. The owners are some of the nicest people on the planet, and the rest of the staff is the same way. What an awesome hidden gem.

Clean and confident. You are always greeted with a smile and welcome. Great place to grab lunch on the go. The food is delicious. Highly recommended.

Great Wings!! I have stopped into Shanes Citgo weekly to get drinks and such for over a year and the family who owns the store has always been friendly and made it a point to make personable small talk with ALL of their customers. The ladies always tell me I had to try their wings and today I finally did. I got the Carolina Gold which is their most popular. Nice sized wings and boy were they good. They were done perfectly. My only regret is that I would have gotten more.

I love this place!!One of my coworkers told me about their lunch and since I don’t get a break I tried their breakfast. Every morning I am greeted with a smile and my order be ready for me, bc I always get the same thing.

I tend not to eat prepared food from a gas station / convenience store, but after hearing that Shanes Citgo has some of the best wings in Macon, I had to find out for myself. Challenge accepted. I stopped by on my way home from work to see what the fuss was all about. I was greeted by the owners right away as I came in. They are so kind. I wasnt sure what flavor to choose, so she let me taste a few sauces and made some recommendations. I chatted with her while she prepared my choices, then headed home with my delicious smelling dinner. Oh my, I was not disappointed!! In fact, I cant remember the last time I had wings that were this phenomenal!! The wings are smoked and theres a variety of sauces to choose from. I recommend the Carolina Gold, quite tasty!! They also smoke Boston butts here, so I will have to try that next. This place is a hidden gem, but dont take my word for it. Get in there and try those yummy wings!

You say gas station food and I’m normally out! But Shane’s is really an awesome local joint with an in-house kitchen. They serve great meals, fresh foods and awesome service. The staff is always friendly and they always great and take care of customers in their store. Really an impressive local place for fantastic morning grabs (PS try the steak biscuit and the awesome Coke Freeze Machine)

I stop by once a week and feed my crew at BMW of Macon and all I can say is I am Mr Popular for the morning! Smiles all around! Thanks to ladies at Shanes for always making the BEST breakfast around and taking care of my team!

Came in this morning for some teriyaki wings to try out for the first time and they were very delicious.

Ive been coming here for 10+ years. A great place and good people.

The wings and barbeque are among the very best in Macon. Old Macon favorites like Finchers and Fresh Air dont come close to the quality of Shanes barbeque. The only place Ive found that might be comparable in quality is Piedmont Brewery. It might seem strange that some of the best food in Macon (or even all of Middle Georgia) comes from a convenience store, but I guarantee after you try this you wont care where it comes from, you will just be thankful for it!Shane also makes fried chicken but I havent tried it because the wings and barbeque are so good I really dont want anything else. I cant comment from personal experience but I have heard that it is just as good as everything else, apparently he has some kind of pressure fryer which produces crispy chicken that isnt greasy.

If you’re looking for some of the best Smoked and Fried Wings in Macon look no longer. The smoked wings can be toss in the flavor of your favorite Sause.The fried wings are cooked to order so you always get them hot and fresh. Even though the wings are great, the best part is the in house made Hot Sause. The wings alone are worthy of a 4 1/2 Star rating but the Hot Sause is why they get a 5. On top of the wings they have a good beer selection, don’t sleep on this spot b/c it’s a Convenients Store. You want want regret your decision, Trust Me!!!
