Dr. Pamela Earls is exceptional. She is friendly, caring, and offers useful insights on how to improve your vision health. Thanks to the staff at DePoe Eye Center Macon for their superb customer service. I rarely post reviews -- much less 5 stars -- but it is well deserved here.

Every single aspect of this experience was perfect. I was immediately greeted and helped by Jessica at the front desk and she was so pleasant. Just a few quick minutes later, Haley was already taking me to perform a few tests and measurements. Then Dr. Earls saw me and she was so kind and explained everything so well because I had no idea what to expect during an eye exam after 20 years without one. You could really tell that she was passionate about her job. After I finished with Dr. Earls, there was a woman whose name I can’t remember that helped me find the perfect pair of glasses. Every single person I dealt with at Depoe Eye Center was a 10/10 for customer service. I’m so thankful that they took such great care of me. An appointment I was dreading turned out to be an excellent experience.

This was my very first visit here and I just dropped in without having an appointment. They fit me in almost immediately. Dr Earle... hope Im spelling it correctly.... she was extremely thorough, listened to every concern I had, she was very knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. Ive been wearing glasses and contacts since I was in the fifth grade so Ive had MANY eye exams in my life but this visit was by far the best experience Ive had with a Dr and an office as a whole. The eye tech was great as well....I believe her name was Courtney.... shes the one that does the test on your eyes and take you back to the Dr. .. she was very friendly and thorough. She explained every step and what each machine was for. She was very knowledgeable you could tell she really enjoys what shes doing. I singled them out because I interacted with them the most but the entire staff was great. I didnt hesitate to spend my money here and I will even bring my daughter back for her eye exam and she lives in Atlanta but I referred her to them.I very rarely write or give reviews on places but Im big on reading them and making my decisions because of them but I decided to write one now because theres such a lack of customer service with businesses but yet we continue to spend our money with them! Now when I receive great customer service at a business that truly care for their customers I want to do my part and acknowledge that. I received top notch service here! Please keep up the good work!!!

The staff was very nice! My daughters (10&9) loved them! The doctor was so nice and had a calming voice. We will definitely be returning in the near future!

Staff very friendly. The doctor took the time to listen and hear my frustrations with my previous glasses and contacts. She went above and beyond making sure that I was satisfied with my contact prescription and glasses.

We changed to a “closer” eye center and that was a huge mistake! DePoe’s staff are always friendly, work hard to schedule you around your work and needs, and most importantly - my glasses and sunglasses were perfect! Currently I am on attempt number three to get correct glasses that I can actually see through and use. My mistake for leaving DePoe for a closer clinic but I assure you it will NOT happen again!

The reason why is because they make you feel li8ke you are at home.

If you are VA I highly advise you NOT to go to DePoe Eye Center. My father is a veteran who was seen by them for an appointment he should not have had and the person handling the referrals scheduled it regardless. The office staff was very polite towards him and explained to him that there was nothing they could do because he should be at an opthalmologist and not an optometrist. We appreciated the explaination and the apology. However, the person responsible for not correctly triaging my fathers needs and setting up an appointment that he DID NOT need, but still billed the VA for. Its ridiculous. Money is all DePoe and its upper management cares about. It is wrong and terrible and needs to be reported if not stopped. Is this how we treat the people who fought for our country? Disgusting. No offense to the office staff, they were polite and greatly appreciated.

Love the entire staff here. I was having issues and they were very attentive to correcting my problems and getting me back on track. The exam was one of the most thorough and informative ones I’ve ever had.

I traveled two hours for an appointment to visit this place paid almost 600 dollars to get glasses I purchased modified to my new eye prescription and paid over 20 plus dollars for postal delivery so that I didn’t have to travel back two hours a total of fours hours to pick up my glasses when they came back. Well I had to go back on a Friday to get my contacts check and while I was there my glasses came in so I picked them up in person and asked for my refund a two months ago and I have called Depoe several times for the receptionist to tell me, oh I have to call the lady or send her an email that does our billing to get your refund credit back to you. Now here it is two months later and I’m still waiting on my refund from the postal fees that Depoe did not have to send in the mail. Return my refund! #aretiredVETARMY #givememyrefund

The optometrist is excellent, but the office is POORLY run. Tried two weeks to change appointment time that DePoe chose and NO ONE would return my call. I finally got a call back to be told they were booked the day of my appointment. I work all day and cannot make a morning appointment.

I had an amazing experience at Depoe eye center. The girls were professional, Covid conscious, and mindful of my time. Stephanie explained my insurance cost thoroughly, took my payment done. My glasses came in early, they were perfect. I would and will go there again and will recommend my co-workers who share my insurance to visit Depoe first.

I am always nervous about going to new doctors onces I trust my doctor. This eye center made me feel right at home, the front desk women was super nice and got me ready for the doctor. The doctor was very good and took her time with me.Now the lady that helped me with my glasses and pricing went way above her duties and was fantastic to work with got me the best deals my insurance could offer and even told me about deals they didnt have listed and also told me I could bring my own frames to have lenses put in. She answered all my questions should good and got me squared away!I plan to make them my eye doctor from now on! Very pleased with the experience!!

This was my third visit with Dr. Depoe. I have a very good exam every time I went. Dr. Hall did more than in previous visits with other doctors. I had very good experience with my visits. I also got my glasses with them and had good service. I will be going back for future visits.The receptionist was very friendly when I called and made the appointment and friendly when I went for the appointment.

Professional & Friendly.

Made arrangements to have frame changed out under warranty. Drove across town after 48 hr shift just to be told oops the only person that can fix your glasses just left for stockbridge sorry. Poor customer service not everyone lives just around corner and fuel prices aint going down. A call would have been great to save me time and money. Well I guess service after the sale is not in yalls wheelhouse. Never again will do business elsewhere lesson learned.

I dont write many reviews but just left Depoe Eye Center and could not have been treated more professionally and friendly. The reception girl welcomed me with a big smile and Dr. Hall was simply first class....and I have a new pair of glasses

I have went to Dr. Hall at the DePoe Eyecare Center for a few years now in Macon, Ga. and have always received the best service. Everyone their has always went above and beyond being nice and helpful. I would surely say that if you are looking for a great Eye doctor and eye care go to DePoe Eyecare in Macon, Ga. On 01/05/2021 I seen Dr. Earles and I have to say she is the best eye doctor that I have ever seen. Everyone at DePoe Eyecare Center is awesome and treat everyone with the best of care. I have never been here. But I work at an eye doctors office in Texas, and one of their patients came in to purchase a trial pair on contacts to last through her visit here. The old sounding woman who answered, was RUDE. Cut me off. Talked to me like I was an idiot. When giving an RX over the phone, the correct way is RIGHT EYE -12. LEFT EYE -8. Not -12 then quiet. of course one would assume its OU (both eyes)If you go here, and dont plan on buying glasses and contacts, prepare to get an ugly attitude when you ask to take your RX with you. Or, prepare to have whoever you plan on buying from have a hard time.If you come across this lady, you must have caller ID because I just called to get your name and no one answered, yet you close at 4. hmm.... its only 3 your time... QUIT YOUR JOB! if you dont like what youre doing, and you dont do not wish to help YOUR OFFICES PATIENTS, then obviously, this isnt the job for you. stop doing what you hate and get a life you love. I hope you see this. and I pray for you. Bch.

The experience I had her with Dr. Earle and the rest of the staff was excellent. I came from vision savers having a horrible experience and just wasted money there. Dr.Earle was so thorough and kept working with me until she got me the product that worked best for me. The entire staff was great. I would definitely recommend them.
