Great coffee and the bacon egg and cheese sandwich was really good also!

My first time here 😁 I am very impressed the staff was awesome and friendly. I am new to the fancy coffee drinks and ordered the wrong beverage. The staff was understanding and made me another drink and it was exactly what I wanted. Delicious breakfast sandwich. Love it. The place is beautiful the art the atmosphere. Cant wait for the Winter will be my hang out spot for great coffee Highly Recommend

The best coffee I have ever had and I’ve had a lot!! The caramel coffee was so good! The Honey Vanilla chai was also delicious💗The grilled cheese with Muenster and peach jam was amazing! And the turkey pimento was also really good. We enjoyed looking at the beautiful photography while drinking our coffee. We will for sure be back! The only thing, I wish I had learned about your business sooner!

They have hired a few people lately that have really brought the vibe down. And its been a year and a half since their changed hours and they still havent updated their hours of operation on google. So you cant find out what their hours are unless you walk up to their door.

Great place to post up and get some work done. There are plenty of two and four seat tables lining the perimeter of this spacious coffee house. Also a big fan of the photographic landscapes on the walls and the tucked away fireplace - contributes to a homey vibe.Iced coffee and egg sandwich on wheat artisan bread were decent, and reasonably priced. Free street parking too!

I am partial to this place because my niece works here. The desserts are delicious! The coffee is good. I enjoy very strong coffee, so I need to order it with extra espresso.

Great photography and atmosphere. Coffee 2 out of 3 would barely deserve a 1. Cold and weak. I like fixing my American coffee myself also. The latte was the opposite very strong and hot but good. I did not order anything except coffees so no opinion about food.

I highly recommend the quiche or any of their breakfast sandwiches. The portion size is perfect and so flavorful in every bite. Their salted caramel apple coffee is fantastic! Its a tried sweet treat and tastes even better with one of their delicious chocolate chip cookies if you can handle all that sugar!

Christian coffee store.. funny that they call themselves that, considering I saw them YELL at a homeless man for sitting in the shade by their shop and asking for water. Love your neighbor excludes homeless people apparently.

The staff was absolutely delightful, the food and coffee was delicious, and the art was breathtaking.I love how the cafe layout is arranged into little nooks, so everyone has their own space. There are even sound dampening panels in the ceiling.There was great selection on the menu for both coffee and food. I greatly appreciated the gluten-free wrap option, as my allergy is often inconvenient. The sandwiches arent particularly filling, but its enough for a snack with your coffee. The sandwich flavors are balanced, tasty, and creative.Staff kept their masks on diligently, and were incredibly kind. Some patrons ignored mask safety, but I felt better having my own little nook

This was the absolute worst start to my day, and the worst coffee experience I’ve ever had. I went to get two coffees to go and it took 40 minutes. My boyfriend was waiting in the car and he thought something bad must’ve happened it took so long. There were two people in line in front of me when I got there so I thought it would take maybe 10 or 15 minutes when I saw how slow the two workers were moving. But to my surprise they took 40 minutes. Two people that ordered after me got their drinks before me. The two girls working were in no rush whatsoever and they had no sense of time management. I have never written a bad review before, but this place seriously got to me. I will NEVER go here again. What’s worse is I tipped them 50% and they still took care of customers who ordered after me before me.

Everything was amazing. The Mexican mud slinger is definitely an acquired taste so I struggled with that one, but the coffee was great and the croissant on the sandwiches was so crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. I was happy with the cheese danish, it was sweet, but not overly so. The lemon bar was also really good, sweet, but tart like it should be.

I guess I set my expectations to high. Although it is an upgrade from Starbucks,I was expecting a quaint place, maybe European style with a larger variety of unique pastries and coffee served in a ceramic/porcelain cup.... none of that lol

Lovely place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee (not that I am sitting in coffee shops these days). Good sized menu with a few specialty drinks and good tea selections. The lavendar latte is my favorite. They also usually have a few gluten free baked goods in the dessert case. It is a religious coffee shop in name and decoration, but no one has ever tried to proselytize or convert me there! Plenty of varied seating and usually a quiet spot.

The food quality and environment are nice, by the service is painfully slow. Even when Ive been the only customer in the store, Ive had to wait 10+ minutes for a latte. The staff generally seem more interested in talking to each other than making drinks. Ive also seen them get weirdly preachy with customers before, in what appeared to be unwanted interactions. With better service this could be a 5 Star place. Unfortunately, this is the only coffee shop downtown.

Visiting near Macon, in search of good coffee: I tried a traditional macchiato, a 12oz drip, and a cranberry scone. The espresso was amazing, very flavorful with a nice tang and only mild bitterness. I could drink that all day. The drip was fine - there was a nice mild flavor lurking but the watery brew washed out the flavor. The Cranberry scone was great. A perfect balance of sweet and salty. The scones flavor made up for the drips lack. For a cup of coffee, Id recommend an americano.

I didnt even order anything. Man that atmosphere is Impressive. I was just meeting my friends and already had breakfast prior but they enjoyed the coffee and pastries.

The chicken salad was very tasty and the atmosphere had a chill vibe. The tables were close to outlets in order to have an easier transition when you needed to charge up your device. Everyone that came in was friendly and quiet lol. Definitely coming back!

Laid back and friendly place, good food and coffee. The outdoor seating is especially nice. Lots of room and more private areas, should you need to work or study. Nice local artists’ works displayed inside, all available for purchase.

Ive been blessed to have lived in 20+ cities in the last ten years and Taste and See truly is one of the best Ive ever been to.The heart of this establishment sets the tone for the environment to be positive, welcoming, uplifting, and a place for communion with the community. The rustic chíc look is a dazzling contrast with all the naturescape works of art displayed throughout the shop. The seating is arranged in way that you can find a cozy nook to embody, or be in an open communal setting as well as beautiful outdoor patio seating as well.The coffee and food and great as well, and they have the kindest and most curtious staff happily helping in any way they can. On top of all that are good Christian values and coffee on a mission to help others.10/10 would recommend to everyone.

GET THE CHEESECAKE! They have different types of cheesecakes all the time. They all seem to be awesome. I come here literally just for the cheesecakes. The Butterscotch and the Vanilla ones are amazing! Really nice atmosphere as well. Love sitting in the room with the fireplace.

It had been a while since I had been back here, had a friend with me that also ordered, both Lattes, one cold, one hot, and they were just aweful, I could not drink mine, I have never had this happen at any other place I get these from, what happened? I wont go back.

I had a few problems with Taste & Sees coffee in the past, but the last few drinks ive gotten there have been very impressive!What really sets this place apart for me is the consistently friendly service! They also have a warm coffeeshop atmosphere thats hard to find anywhere in walking distance of Poplar Street; its hard to beat hanging out on their patio when the weathers nice.

Its not for everybody its a required taste sugars not real everything sugar-free they skip you in line

Amazing, cozy atmosphere! This is the perfect place to sip a warm coffee on cold winter day or chilly autumn afternoon. Coffee was great, but food was mediocre. Also, customer service could be improved. However, they have lots of variety in drink options. The beautiful art is an added bonus! The best part of all was The Alley, a cute outdoor sitting area with greenery and exposed brick.

This coffee ship is downtown Macon. They have a variety of table and chairs, sofas, and just comfy chairs. Its a great place to have a meeting or just meet with a few friends. A wide variety of coffee, lattes, teas. They have caramel apple cider in the winter. They also have a variety of desserts and snacks. It is easy to maneuver a wheelchair inside. Very nice to go there. Outside seating as well.

The best cheesecake I have had ANYWHERE in Georgia!!! It’s homemade and backed fresh in store! Who still does that? It is a definite must try for anyone in Macon or even middle Georgia. Hannah the barista was very kind and helpful. She had a great knowledge of the menu and off menu items guiding me through and explaining things to me. My peppermint dark mocha latte was fantastic. Excellent costumer service and an AMAZING beautiful atmosphere. You can come here and relax and let it go to just chill and simple enjoy! A magical visit. I highly recommend. Thank you! Decent atmosphere and a creative menu but poor execution. Not sure if they were short staffed when we went but the wait was incredibly painfully long and we were not in a hurry. When the iced latte and cappuccino came out, neither tasted great. I would not recommend this place based on this visit but would be willing to give it another shot due to the nice staff.

As someone who travels for work, having a place to drink some coffee with a pastry while catching up on work is much needed. Taste and See has a great atmosphere, delicious coffee, and nice employees. Every time I’m in the area I always try to stop by.

Taste and See Coffee Shop was a top notch experience. Madison was awesome and Shannon runs a tight ship! We will most definitely are coming back and 10/10 with every category from customer service, to great tasting food as well as GREAT a setting!! Recommended to ALL😉

The interior is nice and staff were friendly. The espresso was a bit too bitter. Not sure if it is the particular coffee they are using or their machine/technique. Still on the search for a good espresso in Macon.

Good atmosphere and it is definitely a cozy place to sit. The coffee is nothing special, but I do enjoy getting the traditional cappuccino here. Its nice to go somewhere that prepares it the right way. The artwork on the walls is beautiful.

Beautiful atmosphere and fantastic, high quality coffee, food and drinks. Love bringing people to this cozy spot. Only suggestion would be to add more allergy friendly food items (they have gluten free options, but many people are gluten and dairy free).

Great coffee, great place to hang out

A brilliant little gem of a coffee shop, makes it worth it to visit downtown Macon again. Decor is similar to a Caribou coffee, with a bit of a southern / western influence. With a gas fireplace. Very interesting professional pictures of beautiful scenery line the walls, and the lighting is very good, not too bright and not too dim no matter the time of day. Safehouse coffee is served here now, and its absolutely top notch. Christian contemporary music at a proper volume is on the speakers. A must visit if youre in the area. Parking can be an issue though, but as long as you are willing to stuff some coins (or a card) in the parking meter you should find parking close to the front.

Very warm environment with friendly service and western appeals. The specialty drinks are badass and the artwork and fireplace make this place a day-long workplace or hangout spot. Downtown Macon is coming alive and “Taste and See” made a difference. Pastries, sandwiches and breakfast items with the full range of coffees and teas. Great coffee shop to spend time. Good people!

Do yourself a favor and try the cookie monster and the peanut butter smores bar. Very cozy decor and the fireplace is amazing!

A Christian coffee shop in downtown Macon. They play Christian music at a low volume. Everything is always clean, and there is plenty of space for meetings including a meeting room and a fireplace nook. Beautiful art on the walls is available for purchase.

If you are looking for real deal Italian food this is your place. I see people comment that it takes a while to get your food. This is a true statement but is is because they make the food fresh to order, no frozen ravioli here. The wine selection is good and the home made limoncello is excellent.

When I had a sip of their mocha expresso milkshake I fell in love. The flavors i experienced were like no other I have ever tasted. I felt like a new beginning had started for my taste pallets. The place was magnificent and gave off a calm-relaxing mood. Amazing place all and all. One thing that the place could do to improve is to lower the volume of the music played on the overhead speakers. Other than that, I recommend this place 100%

I love it. Christian based. Great place to talk and enjoy coffee and friends. Watch out Starbucks. If they get cups like Starbucks that you can use forever it will be my replacement for my annual birthday place to be.

This coffee shop was very fun to visit. I liked the homey environment, the friendly service, and the homemade desserts. My husband and I got a pecan bar and red velvet cheesecake bar. We liked the pecan bar a lot. They serve the desserts on real plates, which was a nice touch. We were served quickly and, though they were busy, acknowledged right away.

Today I tried the Egg & Bacon Cheese Sandwich on locally-made wheat bread = YUM. Love that they have Mexican CocaCola with real sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup - this stuff is getting harder to find! Plus I added on Salt & Pepper Kettle Chips - another excellent NON-GMO Project Verified choice. The dining area is always clean & well air-conditioned,

Good cheese cake, selection could be a little more diverse. I dont particularly enjoy popular Christian music so as far as music I would say thumbs down. This is not from some imagined prejudice against Christians, I happen to be a pastor, it is simply that Christian pop music is one one of the worst forms of music. Also while there a homeless man came in asking for a cup of water. He was denied, they could have just given him a glass cup if the concern was giving him a disposable cup. Just saying
