Weve had good experience in the past with ADT. However, we moved about a month ago and our point of contact for sales/transfer was Melissa. She called AND texted us MANY times prior to installation. She promptly got a technician to come install and he was phenomenal. Melissa told us the installation fee would be waived and we would only be charged for monthly recurring service. SURPRISE! We were charged an additional $600 for installation fee. Melissa has not answered a call/text/email. She has even answered the call a few times only to hang up immediately. Never have I dealt with more unprofessional service in my 30 years. If you are greeted with Melissa, run. Far away. We have been trying to get a refund for the charge for weeks now.

Very good service tech! He was very professional and solved all my problems with demonstration to ensure I knew how to operate the system! Will recommend ADT to my friends ❤️

Had the ADT system for 3 years, I was told by the salesman once my contract is up all equipment would still work except for the alarm system. At the end of three years I find out if I don’t keep paying all my cameras would not work. It’s a HEADACHE, should have just bought and installed cameras myself.

From my first phone call to the final install the experience was great. I was week taken care of by a professional team. From the price point to the customer service I was week taken care of. Great team and great product.

🤦🏽‍♀️ Dont think Ill wait til my contract is over. Maybe will let someone buy it out. When it comes to scheduling an appointment that they say is mandatory, they do not notify you when an appointment has been recalled and when the appointment does happen they are late. They give you no heads up as if you dont have a life other than to wait on them. Im so over it. Ive been over it. Other factors other than this have led to this decision. There is no trust or no rapport as far as Im concerned. Such a disappointment.😫 After 8+ years I am eager for a switch or a self installation system may be even better. 🤷🏽‍♀️So sad this nice technician has been here 5 hours and needed ADTs help. They hung up on him. Am I a customer or not? I think not. Im switching services. Such a damn headache and Ive managed to get none of my stuff done today.

Had 2 no shows or calls. Finally Came out to upgrade my system. Ended up with same low battery chime going of at 3am in the morning like before. Problem not resolved.

This has nothing to do with my assigned tech Jeff - he was great. I want to point out how deeply disgusted with ADT schedule, LaShawn and the customer service reps that I had to interact with and endure on the phone when I called in to report my issue in obtaining a ticket to have a tech come - the reps made it extremely difficult for me with obtaining a time and they kept getting my scheduling wrong, it was frustrating to say the least and I wanted to share this experience.

Been with them for years..(7+)Motion sensor needed a battery, I was told to find one that matches, no check up, no service follow up... Just sad

ADT cameras do not pick up movement at night. I called ADT customer service and told the rep that thieves had broke into my car TWICE in the past five months. The ADT cameras are literally pointed directly at my car but there was absolutely no footage found by me or the police.The rep said that ADT cameras DO NOT have night vision or infrared so the cameras cannot pickup movement at night. That is KEY INFORMATION that none of the ADT reps told me when they were so vigorously pushing their products and services.Then, just to check the response time for a call from ADT, I tripped the alarm to our house. It took someone from ADT 12 minutes to call. When I answered, the lady from ADT asked, “Are you okay?” I said, “Yes” in a shaky voice. She said, “Okay, have a good night.” and hung up. She did not ask for a password or any follow up questions to make sure I was okay. The ADT representative that responds to an alarm is at least supposed to ask for a password.So, what you can do to make my “experience better” is actually do what all of your commercials with Vin Rhames touted so boldly “I’m ADT and I’m ALWAYS there!”The three times I needed ADT to be there, ADT WAS NOT THERE!

I wish I would’ve done more research before choosing ADT. I have called them and been given the run around for over 30 mins until I spoke to someone who wanted to listen....this happened twice. Also, they rope you into a 36 month contract with only a 3 day trial period....that’s not long enough to assess the system....poor customer service, poor understanding, and very high prices. The installation team does a good job though. That’s all they have going for them.

Technician John Clark came back to fix a problem with my security system and went above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered and that I was fully satisfied. I feel very secure with my system and can highly recommend ADT because of John. Thanks!!

I had Paula Hawes as my salesperson and she was so knowledgeable!! She was able to answer all of our questions and gave us a great quote to boot! Lower than Vivint!

I Natalie Ferguson have been a customer since 2008 and I wanted a upgrade to video system,but didn’t have enough WiFi speed.Mr.Mays went the extra mile to help me get suitable internet company,now my upgrade is complete,and he is really Customer Focus. Thanks so much for his time

Adt scheduled an appointment and never arrived. I called to get a status update and they told me I cancelled the appointment. I was offered a 2pm appointment by a manager and being placed on hold for 10 minutes she return to inform me that I declined a 2pm appointment offered by another agent which is a lie but attempted to schedule another appointment 3 weeks later. I am done with ADT. They will not receive another payment from me!!!

Otis Fraser help me out tremendously with updating system and also help me reestablish my ring account. He went far and beyond helping me get my security certificate to statefarm.

Ted Phillips helped me when no one else at ADT would. I am very thankful for the help and if I need anything he would be who I would call. Been with ADT for almost 15 years...

Don’t recommend. Products are garbage and can’t get out of contract when you realize their smart equipment is not that smart. I replaced Vivint with them because Vivint was a lot more expensive. I should have stayed with Vivint whom has smart products that actually worked really well. I’m now paying for services for the next three years for equipment that doesn’t do me any good.
