I dont often go to places like this because they can be monumentally over-priced AND you get plagued with the know-it-alls following you around telling what you should and shouldnt buy. However, this store seems to be fair in its prices, decent in appearance, friendly customer service and has a nice selection to boot. Definitely good if you are trying to collect retro gaming gear.

Coming from someone who doesn’t live in an urban setting, I feel very fortunate to have a shop like this to visit. It’s a special place with tons of nostalgia. Love it. Hope they do well and stay in business for a long time.

Horrible! Placed an order online and never got updates on my shipment. After asking for any kind of update I was ignored. After a few more days I cancelled my order. I immediately got a reply then! I was told it was all my fault and my billing info was suspicious! Not once has this been an issue with any other retailers! They may have a wonderful shop but not well run for online orders.

My little nephew took his rainy day money to the Cherry Blossom Food Truck Frenzy with us today. He saw Comics Plus when we were leaving and wanted to walk through the store. He found a comic book that interested him. He was so cute putting it back in its protective cover after thumbing through. I think he might start collecting! I wonder if they have a Young Collector Club? They could have a membership card with discounts to encourage children to return and to establish a fun hobby! These guys are awesome! Ive been coming to their shop since around 2017. Its change a bit since then especially because of covid. I loved to go and just look around at all their inventory. Its mostly online now for video games/cards/etc. Their prices for pokemon cards is a bit pricey but if its to support local business, Im down to pay a little more!

Absolute heaven for people like myself. So much to choose from! Helpful and polite staff, including the two cute kitties.

All in all its a good shop. Lots of comics and some games as well as toys. That being said some of the prices on the vintage toys are too high. Prices havent been changed on certain items to reflect current value. All in all a good shop though.

I went in knowing what IP I was interested in (Fortnite for a friends child), and they helped me order from stock that wasnt even listed! Everyone working there can bring know-how worth your time, so stop by and get nerdy with em!

Kool place but no dbz super material

Witcher 3 Ciri glow in the dark Pop figure was well below average ebay selling price (idk why but I’ll take it!) and crispy mint condition. Shipping was ridiculously fast and absurdly well packaged as well. Would buy from again for pops 5/5

I placed a large order of Transformers figures in November 2020. I received all items as ordered, with timely shipping and outstanding packaging. It was clear a lot of thought and effort went into the packaging to ensure the entire shipment arrived in excellent condition. Thank you!

They have a pretty good selection of back issues, but they seamed to be either lower grade than id like or over priced for what they were. For example, the dollar bins were full for water damaged, low grade comics that were in no way collectible. I even found when i got home, one of the books i bought from the dollar bins had mold! FRIGGEN MOLD ! 🤮

I love this store. These are people that care about your collecting needs. From comic books to action figures, from Transformers to Legos, from Magic the Gathering to Pokemon, they have it or they will get it for you. I get weekly comics there. I even have a pull list as part of their subscription service. Never had one up North where Im originally from. It makes me feel accepted, like Im part of something special.

We visited the store a few times before Christmas during Covid and spent a few hundred dollars on Pokémon each time. We come back just a few months later with the plan to make another pretty big purchase of Pokémon. The girl was very helpful but then we had to deal with this guy (guessing the owner) and he was trying to make us go through all of these hoops just to make a cash purchase. He was rude and not helpful. What happened to small businesses not wanting to welcome big purchases especially during a pandemic?! Needless to say we won’t be back and they’ve lost some big spenders.

Dishonest and untrustworthy business. If Comics Plus judges that an item you bought from their online store has gone up in value since it was listed, they will cancel your purchase (even after you have paid) and relist the item later at a higher price. This recently happened to me, and - if other Google and Yelp reviews are anything to judge by - this is a scheme that they engage in often. I find it a rather scummy business practice, and so I thought it was only right to add my experience to the pile.

I do not like it when a business lies to you. Do NOT spend your money here. I spent a lot of time on their website placing an order. Got an e-mail a couple days that the books on my order were not in inventory and that they had website updating issues because of Covid (seriously?). Well, they cancelled my entire order which I thought was strange. So I look a couple days later and the books on my order were showing IN STOCK and the prices were doubled or tripled! I e-mailed them twice with a chance to make it right but no response received which just confirmed that they were not being truthful. Very poor business, do not spend your money here.

They simply have everything covered. From old comics to the latest editions. They have one of the best comic merchandise collections Ive ever seen.Good prices on recent & old comic book series. Easy to get to but parking in the area can be difficult. Great collections of graphic novels both past and present. A prime choice for the serious collector or beginning novice.

Great seller. made ordering online from a seller i didnt know a very pleasant experience quick to respond thru Facebook messenger and had no problem answering my questions and concerns. The only problem I had was paying $10.75 for 3 day shipping that took 5+ days which wasnt the sellers fault it was the post offices fault even though they lied and tried to blame comics plus. All in all though the seller was excellent very nice and professional dealing with business thru Facebook because of the coronavirus I suppose and I will most certainly do business with them again

Has anything nerdy you can think of. Comics, video games, TCG, board games, video games and even Gunpla. The Gundam and Video games selection is what I was most surprised at and for fundamentals everything from SD to MG to PG and Metal Build models. It’s incredible. The staff is also super nice and helpful. There are also two very sweet cats. 11/10 would come again

Comics, collectibles,and tons of cool stuff. They werent playing in-store yet but there were lots of space for that. They could use some tidying up...

I have never been in a comic book shop before today (Bob is the comic book fan in our house.) I was amazed at how many books they had in there! I dont know anything about comics but I would be surprised if you couldnt find something for everyone here! They had a lot of other collectables too, smaller things for the kids and beautiful art by the register. My kids really loved the two cats and the guys were so sweet to let them feed them treats. The only regret was walking in at closing time so Im sure well be back soon to really look at all they have to offer.

Some cool stuff but dont go if youre allergic to cats. There are two cats who follow you around. My eyes swelled and I started sneezing, I unfortunately had to leave pretty quickly.

Great selection, and staff. Something different from the same blah thats in the area. Much needed outlet for nerd culture. There are 2 cats, and they were adorable and friendly.

I and a friend of mine traveled an hour to visit the new location. We had been to the previous location on numerous occasions and had a overall pleasant experience. This time, however, was different. We arrived at around 6:00, with the intention of trading in some of our Magic collection to acquire some other cards that we needed. We were told that if we provided them with a list of the cards we needed, they would go grab them for us once we figured out what we wanted to trade in. The gentleman at the register directed us to some tables were we could pull out our cards. At this point in was about 6:10. We pulled out our cards and presented them to the guy at the register at about 6:30. We are then informed that they close at 7 and we could come back tomorrow. Why he didnt bother to mention this when we came in is beyond me. We explained that we had driven an hour to come up there and it wouldnt take that long to sort through our small stack of cards. This was to no avail. His only response was, Sorry about that, drive safe. If they were closing, no problem. But to let us go through pulling out the cards only to turn us away, to me, is not good business. I dont believe Ill be returning.

They obviously do not need new customers if they do not answer their phone. I made contact with them a month ago to see if they were interested in buying some items from me. They told me to send photos via Facebook. No one called me back, and no one answered their phone for weeks.

Pretty great place. Takes me back to my childhood days. Went with the little one to pick up her first Frozen comic book. They had it sitting aside. She had a great time chatting with Will and Storm the kitten. Even got a special surprise from the store. Wish there was a comic store like this when I was growing up. It is huge. We will definitely be back.

Excellent shop and very helpful staff! I was visiting from ATL and popped over to see about one thing and found several others I was into. Great selection and fair pricing. I wished this place was in my neighborhood. I would spend lots more money here. They are now over on Tom Hill Sr Blvd though, as another user posted.

Nice place to shop

PSA: Test all games before buying them to make sure they work. They sold me a Sega Genesis cartridge that did not work on my system (Classic Game Console model FB8280C). I showed them it would not work on my gaming system; I never had any problems playing any games that came with it. I asked nicely twice - once in person and once via messenger- if I could get an exchange. I showed them my receipt and they even tested the game on their Genesis. No problem. The problem wasnt the cartridge; it was my Genesis. I found out it wont play certain games. The cartridge worked fine so I did not understood why they couldnt make just one exemption for their no refund or exchange policy for a legit reason. I assume they had a history of gamers who bought a game, conquered it, then returned it to play a new game. That wasnt my case. I never got to play mine at all! Perhaps keeping customers happy should be more of a priority and not treat us like we are dishonest. I am going to try to play my game on my friends Genesis.

Friendly staff, great selection of games and comics, and they host Magic the Gathering and other card games. They also sell MTG cards online at much better prices than many other online sellers and allow in store pickup so you can have your cards the next day. Check it out MTG fans!

Great place to buy comic books. Not a great place to use the restroom. The staff here is friendly but the bathrooms came with a well- deserved WARNING.

Every time I go it is always a pleasant experience. Everyone is always working with a smile and there is a great community of players for different card games.

Theres plenty of space for tournaments. I went to compete in a fighting game tournament and it was a great experience.

This was the WORST strip club Ive ever been to... the dancers looked like MEN and never danced or stripped. Boring... but while there I found a lot of cool comics, and I realized Bruce Wayne should have dumped Robin, and found a lover his own age....
