As a person visiting from Arizona, the store was confusing. With a name like 98 Cents Store, you would think that more items would be $0.98. Look at the photos and tell me what you dont see. Yes, thats right! The prices arent posted. Its basically a guessing game until you get to the register. I would expect most of the unmarked items to be $0.98 and the higher priced items would have a price sticker on it.Dont get me wrong, they have a wonderful selection of items, but it would be nice to appropriately budget. I know its harder to price such a large store, but it would make the shopping experience a lot better.

I love this place they sale everything. I bought a rug and some hair LoL. The rugs are beautiful I am going back to buy two more. I highly recommend

I guess its ok. I purchased an essential oils mens fragrance(Sean John) and Murrays Hair Pomade( Im still new to Macon so,as opposed to Decatur-Stn Mtn-yeah,theyre definitely pricey! But still the selection was competitor worthy!

Worst customer service I have experienced in a long while. They advertised buy 3 get 1 free. I bought 4 packs of 2 different types of hair with 2 different prices. During check out, 2 of the lower priced items were free instead of 1 item from each type of hair being free. To get the appropriate discount I asked to ring the items up separately, which apparently was a problem because the female staff then said go ahead so she can keep her little change with a nasty attitude. Last I checked, I worked for every penny I have and if I want to save them, that is my business. Needless to say, I left without the hair and will not be shopping there again!!!!

Be careful about buying authentic laced wigs at the store other than that they are a excellent store

I went in looking for antibacterial braiding hair. I stopped at the front counter since Im on a cane and disabled to ask the gentleman there. After asking 3 times he said he didnt know and instructed me to go ask the girls in the back and they can help me. I then saw another young lady going behind the counter before walking all the way to the back of the store... I asked her the same thing she said no we dont sell that kind of hair here. I then asked about prestretched and prewashed with the 3 bundles in it. She said no, but we do have prewashed hair. We walked to the back of the store and she started showing me the hair they had and right beside the pack she was showing me was shelves of antibacterial braiding hair!!! I said here it is right here... She said Oh... And she offered to get me a buggy.. Overall I got exactly what I needed... Thanks!!!

They have everthing but the kitchen sink..and they MIGHT even have that..lolThey have a hair salon and beauty supply on premises ..

I was impressed. I am from Macon and I love the 98 cents store. Yesterday I needed some hair care products and I was unsure of when they close. I pulled up right at closing and Ms. D was very vibrant and helpful. She came to my car and asked me if I needed help and I expressed to her exactly what I needed and she was able to walk into the store and get it for me quickly before the register was closed. Thank you so much D. She deserves a raise and she has great customer service.
