Had an unexpected problem with my tow vehicle rear tire stem while stopping overnight in Macon, GA, and they fixed me up ASAP. Got me on the road in under an hour and didn’t even charge me! A very nice and friendly place with great service. I would highly recommend them over the traditional tire stores you often see. 5 stars for sure!😀

Be careful when doing business with the Macon, GA store. I was charged for a power steering flush and my vehicle has an electric power steering. I brought the issue to the regional training manager who notified me that the situation would be rectified and the store manager would contact me for a refund and hed follow up with in a week. Needless to say I never heard back from him or the store manager. So please check your invoices carefully before you leave and make sure the services you are charged for are actually the services you receive.

Wonderful service. Danna was super helpful. Used them now for several oil changes as well as tire changes on multiple cars. Only complaint I have is I was told wind shield wipers were buy one get one free, but upon getting home was charged for both blades. I’d still recommend them

I went in to purchase 2 front tires and get a wheel alignment. The mechanic(Buddy) noticed I had issues with my control arm bushings that was causing my tires to wear quickly. All the while Im thinking it was a much needed wheel alignment...I really appreciate the mechanic (Buddy), he saved me from wasting hard earned money. I hope he gets some kind of reward because that was a job well done.

I have used them before and never had a problem. But things are on the downward spiral. I called yesterday and got a quote for some entry level tires for my Mother In laws car. With my military discount came too $291. Told them I needed to check with her they said it would be saved to my profile. She was good with the cost so I called back today and it wasn’t saved like they said. Then I told them we needed to run the quote again and price was $100 more than what they quoted. So I challenged the price and asked him why it cost more. Then the older raspy sounding man started catching a attitude. At that point I decided Mavis Tire didn’t deserve my money an more and I moved on and won’t be back.

The 2 stars are for the dude from Cali he was very nice... the Front desk clerk however made me question my sanity.. Ive never had anyone check my miles for brakes.. it was so weird .. I was waiting then he came out of no where opening my door leaning over me n. WITH OUT A MASK making creepy un car related questions as he hovered.. I was totally creeped out. Idgaf have some respect bro .. and I wish I could have went somewhere else who would have attempted to patch my tire.. I felt they were after money .. idk maybe its just me.. glad we dont live in the area ..

After 600 and some change for brakes and rotars that didnt last a year at less than normal driving I am now paying another legitimate shop to fix these oil changers problems. I was informed two outside pads were intalled on the left and 2 inside pads installed on the right which caused my calipers to stick and hot spot my rotors. These jagaloons arent fit to work on a bicycle. Keep your vehicle away at all costs if you want it to last! This picture is to the genius that says it doesnt matter which pad goes where. Fyi yes it does on my model vehicle this isnt 1980 anymore educate yourself about your line of work.

The staff was super friendly and very helpful. I was able to get in and out with no issues at all. The price were also way better than other places I had looked at for the work that needed to be done on my car. I’ll deff go there for all my car needs!!!!

They did a good job on short notice. My daughter’s suv had 3 missing lug studs and I called needing them replaced and they definitely got her in and out with no issues. They were friendly and expedited the whole experience for not just her but her small child as well. I definitely recommend this place not only because they do a good job but the prices were hard to beat.

1st visit there was fine, next one, not at all. Not only did I have a appointment, I waited 3 hours JUST for my car to go back, then was told something different was wrong than what I was told the 1st time I took it there, why was I told two different things, and I will never go through that wait again... I even called before I Went to make sure that it was okay and that I would be seen. Will be going elsewhere for certain. Update: Took my vehicle elsewhere and was told they could not find anything wrong!! Wow! So, I was told 2 different things were wrong over the course of two different visits !!

Only 1 person working in the shop on a Saturday!!!Been sitting for 1 and half and I was the 3rd person in this morning. My cars still in the parking lot. Poor service no one said we are behind, itll be a wait etc. Wont be back.The manager that was from a different location apologized for the wait and took care of everything when my car was finished. My 81 year old mother and I were traveling from Tampa to Chattanooga and hit something that flattened our tire in Macon. We pulled into Mavis at 4:30 (an hour and a half before closing) and was told they couldn’t get to us because the guys leave at 6. I explained our situation as we had no where to go and he literally said “I don’t know what to tell you ma’am.” I called Discount Tires right around the corner and he said if I can get there by 6 they would get us in. We immediately left Mavis and went to Discount Tires. They got to us at 6:45 and we left at 7:15 with 2 brand new tires. Lonnie said getting us back in the road safely was their number one priority. Apparently leaving work at 6 is Mavis’ number 1 priority. We don’t have a Mavis in our area, and I don’t know if it is company policy, that store’s policy, or that guy’s policy, but I have never been so shocked to be dismissed so readily in our time of crisis. I will NEVER go to another Mavis Tire

Decent pricing but daaanng they can take so long. Prior to right now Ive had my car here for an oil change, tire rotation, etc. But this time Ive been waiting around for such a long time, even considering I went to a nearby store (Best Buy) to look around. Was told it would be about an hour before they could take my car. Its been over two hours and Im still waiting for it to merely be brought in for the diagnostic. But I appreciate the fact they also took a while to try fixing my off-balanced steering wheel the other time I brought my car, and the discount they gave me before too. I just got my car back and the guy only checked the Brake light stuff, left out the Check Engine light and didnt even have a scanner that worked for checking my 1998 Toyota. That was after hours of waiting. I about wanna give four stars but the service is just not good enough to justify that.

He was great and didnt make me feel like little just because I was a woman trying to explain how my ride was now bumpy and I felt a vibration when going over 60 mph. Mavis tire headquarters you need to read this and pay attention. This place I used to give 20 stars out of 5, I bought my tires here and got the lifetime hazard and balance on them, last month I came here to get brakes and rotate my tires. 2 weeks ago the weights came off, I made an appt on line to have them rebalanced, got there, was told it would be 3 hours, I left, made another appt.been sitting here for an hour and told they have 2 people ahead of me.Mavis headquarters. Get some help here or Im tearing my mavis credit card up and going elsewhere

Let me just say I had a not so good experience at another Mavis store. However, I decided to give this store a try because it was close to my job. Mr. Mike and his crew has this store running smooth. They were very informative about my vehicle. He kept his promise on my appt. because I arrived late the day before. Mavis train you other service managers and mechanics at this store. They provide exceptional service.

Amazing customer service

Took my truck in for 1 tire to be changed I had my spare on my truck so I asked for a call when they got the tire ready. They said it would be 3 hrs which I was ok with but I took it in at 1 and it is now 4.45 15 minutes before they close. I have not gotten a call back and now I have to drive 90 miles on a spare tire for work in the morning.

I have rarely given a poor review.... but the experience I have had with this company warrants the trouble. My lady went in to get tires for her full sized van, a 1978 G20 with a powerfully built 360 chevy small block mill (350 punched 60 over), and they put on tires for a compact car that simply were not rated for much more than 1/3 of the load. Original tire specs were provided, yet they mounted these toys, instead. She has two toddlers, and is a hard working, single mother.... They said they would remedy their error, but after we arrived at the shop they changed their tune. Multiple locations followed suit, offering to put the MUCH CHEAPER, Better Suited tires on the vehicle.... and then telling us to kick rocks. She is moving for work and unable to do so safely. Shame on them. If anyone has any questions, or would care for updates, please feel free to reach out to me.

All the workers there were friendly. Our water time was exactly what we excused, I would recommend this place to everyone, to bad I live out of state I would use them everytime If I could! Thank you to the staff for fitting me in when they were about to close, because of them I was able to make it to tennessee to see family for the holidays! I recently got my tires rotated here. I went to go do my brakes and as I removed my lug nuts, two of them broke in half as they had put them on way too tight. Don’t ever take your vehicle here! I’m now out a mechanic fee because they refused to help.

Not the type of person to write reviews but this place just blows my mind. I went in on 9/11/2020 to a get a oil change. 1st of all the customer that come in after me got his oil changed before me. The customer was asking me how he was getting service before I was. I told him I had no idea.Well I finally got my oil changed in my truck and got halfway home and the message center on my truck said I was low in oil and needed to add oil.The oil pressure was fine so I went on home Mavis was closed by now.When I got home I checked the oil in my truck and the oil was not touching the dipstick. I saw a 1-800 number to call at the top of my receipt if I was not 100% satisfied, so I called it and give the lady all of my information and the situation. She said she would get it to the right people and have them to call me.Needless to say today is the 17th and I have not heard a word from anyone. Back to the oil situation I live about 25 miles from the Mavis on Presidential Pkwy so Saturday morning I go to the parts store and buy 3 quarts of oil thinking they only put 5 quarts of oil in my truck witch takes 8 quarts. Sure enough my truck was 3 quarts of oil low. And seems like no one cares. Don`t get me wrong I am not looking for a free oil change not even looking for a discount just looking for someone to step up and take responsibility. I am a business owner in middle Ga have been for 26 years and when my employees make a mistake or I make one I own up to it and take full responsibility. I am sick and tired of these big chain stores thinking they are untouchable and do what they want. So with that being said I know the person that keeps up with these reviews is going to come on here and say oh how sorry they are and for me to call a certain number. NO!!! You call me you have my information Mavis screwed up not me. Why should I take anymore time out of my day to make it right when Mavis screwed up.

One of the cleanest restrooms Ive ever seen. Being in a wheelchair its nice to go in a public restroom that you dont have to clean before you use, side step nastiness, or feel like you need a shower when you come out. Kudos!!And the service for the tires was amazing too. We ran over something while we out & went straight there. It was 20-25 minutes before they closed but they still got us fixed up & everyone was super nice & very accommodating!
