Best Buy staff were very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. As an over 70 year old shopper, often I dont receive such good service. But yesterday the staff at the Macedonia, Ohio, Best Buy treated me with respect and helped me find what I needed to hook up my sound system with my new flat screen TV. Its often a challenge to adapt to the newer technologies, but Best Buy staff have made it easier, doable, and understandable.

Quite the debacle. Best Buy was supposed to delivery me my TV ($1500+ TV) today. I got the phone call yesterday (the day before) stating the delivery was confirmed. The time block (12 - 6) came and went, no phone call or delivery. I called Best Buy customer service and they said the warehouse doesnt have any in stock and then proceeded to tell me I can pick up the TV at a warehouse location. I show up at the warehouse with an updated receipt and email annotating today at this warehouse being the pick up. The manager comes out, after I waited 10 mins, unfortunately, I cannot release the TV to you because Home Delivery hasnt released it. The manager tried to discuss with the Bridge Department. Sadly, this is a Best Buy issue corporate logistics integration issue, not just a warehouse and applies to more than just this warehouse. While the warehouse manager was trying to get the bridge location to release my TV, I called the Customer Service number (again), waited 20 minutes spoke to someone who said you need to talk to home theater and then put me on hold (for now another 20 min, still waiting while I write this review). And of course Best Buy did nothing to compensate compensate for the two hours of my Friday night addressing their logistics issue. Never had this problem with an Amazon purchase.I will post this elsewhere.

By far the best customer service experience ever in a while. The young lady who helped me named Mykah L. on my receipt really went above and beyond. I loved the low price on a washer and dryer that was on the floor but wasnt going to be shipped until late August and she figured out a way to get it to me in less than a week. She was so pleasant and polite and such a breath of fresh air during the entire purchase. Best Buy did great by hiring her.

Best Buy is where I purchase all of my electronics and consumable supplies like printer ink. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they always have what I am looking for. I would recommend Best Buy most highly!!

I had a great experience discussing computer hardware for a system Im building with my sons. They were extremely knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the differences in products to help me make the best decision. You would think I was talking to someone with the Geek Squad but even the salesman had a deep technical understanding. Very impressed and will be returning.

I purchased a phone from here and was encouraged to open a Best Buy Card to get 10% off. Sounds good right. Price on the phone was 349.00 10 % is simple, 34.90. When the order was rung up, it did not show a discount. The salesman (scam expert) said the discount would show up on my credit card bill. When I got the bill, there was no discount. I went back to the store to get it resolved, the customer service person said I would get the 10% as a store credit rather than a discount. Catch the scam? I was not happy but life is short so I left the store knowing I would not fall for this and again. A few days later, I received an email. Showing a $30 store credit instead of 34.90. Ripped off again, get it? I went on line to dispute this and was told I would get the complete credit within an hour. Still waiting and will probably never go back. Bought TVs, computers, surround sound systems here in the past. If they sold 1 cent gum here, I wouldnt buy it.

We came in to buy a cheap item costing under $40. Salesman was extremely insistent and pushy that we sign up for some sort of membership card. He implies that this was a store discount or rewards card with no fees (he makes _NO_ indication this is something like a credit card), but then asks for a social security number to set it up. Big red flag. A random department store like this has no business dreaming of asking for an SSN. If you give out your SSN to a company like Best Buy, you can be assured that a script kiddie will have his hands on it not long after.If you dont care about the safety of your identity then you should also consider that the TVs here were vastly inflated in price compared to what we found in a >1 minute google search. Like double price for the same thing you can get at a better store online or in person.

Poor customer service at the Macedonia store location. Sales person takes my credit card for payment for a large TV installation, but now when I try to call the Macedonia store number thats listed on their website, I get an automated message we are no longer accepting phone calls at this location. Meet the new Best Buy customer service. Same as the old customer service: Poor.Im about ready to cancel the order.

Gentleman was very helpful. Pointing me in the right direction of the most expensive wall mount. I said I only have a 65 in. I have no need for a wall mount that can support a 90 tv. That mount was $319.00. These guys live off the sell. I bought a lesser model for $159.00 go figure...

The stores sales would benefit if Management would learn what Customer Service Etiquette is.I wasted 8hrs of my day, driving over an hour to this store just to be told, the store could not help me put their Verizon Tablet on my Verizon account.So I called Best Buys number and they ordered it and the accessories, gave me a discount for the hassle of running from Alliance to North Canton to Alliance to Macedonia, to leave empty handed. $1,600 order the store turned away.

BE CAREFUL THEY ARE SELLING THE PRODUCT NOT SUPPOSED TO SELL!!!I purchased the galaxy ear buds + and I found the product is not working and claimed after couple month later. I claimed it and they told me I need to contact the Samsung. and I sent it to Samsung and found they sold me not U.S version but the international version they not supposed to sell.I have been to the store three times. they even didnt try to fix it or do anything. The Store manager showed me terrible manner. It was really terrible experience for my life. That store is one of the worst store in the U.S.

You look and compare items on the shelf for awhile with the clerks help but when you make your decision your told not in stock. When you ask to buy the shelf model they say no you have to drive to another best buy to get it. Drive to Lowes and found a better microwave for cheaper in stock.

Looking for a specific gaming keyboard. They only had a sample one. Didnt know when they would get more in. Found another one on the clearance rack but wouldnt give me the clearance price. They claimed someone put it there and wasnt on clearance. So,I paid full price, this is the second issue with this store. First time when I bought a gaming computer that was paid for and held back at the manufacturer. I addressed the issue with 3 different managers and couldnt give me a answer. I contacted the manufacturer sent them a copy of the receipt and I got my computer within a week. I dont need to hear that COVID caused the keyboard shortage.

The lady at the front desk asked if I wanted a Best Buy card didn’t tell me I had to apply for it I’ve been working really hard to build my credit up and it dropped one point applying for it I would have said no if I knew I had to apply. This location is hit or miss. Today I went in to make a large purchase and I was told they didn’t have it in stock so then I asked if they could order it and have it shipped to me. They said the ordering system was finicky and that was it. They walked away. I would have taken my business elsewhere but I didn’t have the time. I Went back into the store and asked someone for the help and they helped me with no issues I asked about the ordering being an issue and the gentleman didn’t seem to know what I was taking about nor did he have any issues. Glad someone was able to finally help. I guess it all depends on who you deal with.

Everything was fine until the employee Mu×××× tried to force us to buy other products. I tried telling him we didnt to purchase at that moment because we were paying cash and only had enough for the washer and dryer. Since the products were on back order until may we told him we would come back and get the other items he tried to sell us that were extras any way. When my husband said it doesnt make sense why we had to buy it today. He said it make sense. So after going back and forth with him I ended up walking off. Then my husband said my wife is upset so she doesnt want to buy anything now. He said yall wasnt gonna buy it in the first place. So now I am gonna personally go back to purchase but ask for a different sales person so they can get the commission.

I returned a curbside pickup order. Only proof of purchase was the red curbside sticker on the box. That was enough to return a laptop computer and I was surprised there wasnt an open box restocking fee. Pleasantly surprised I didnt lose any money.

Bought something online for curb side pick up. Within 5 minutes received email that order was ready for pick up. When I got there, parked and had to log in which was the only thing taking a while (phone service problems,lol). Employee came out within minutes and was gone. Very convenient.

Kyle is my favorite person in the world right now. After my waterline install had been cancelled SEVEN TIMES! I drove to the store to get the problem resolved. Kyle was empathetic and understood my frustration. He figured out the problem instead of brushing it off like all the people I had talked to on the phone and resolved the issue. My waterline is now confirmed to be installed.

Now that Radio Shack has gone away, this is a great place to find odds and ends in electronics -- and at a competitive price. All their stuff is at a competitively priced. They also have a very knowledgeable and helpful staff without being too pushy. They have struck the right balance between being helpful and getting out of the way.This is one of my go to places.

Ive only had a few experiences with Best Buy so take this with a grain of salt. I needed two Google nest minis for graduation gifts. They had a deal that looked great but my location didnt have them. I ordered two from the nearest location for pick up. Received a text telling me my order was confirmed and another later saying it was ready. The day of the party I drove 30 minutes out of my way to get it only to be handed one unit. I was upset but polite and the employee was polite and as helpful as could be. He said, Someone probably ordered it the exact moment you did, this happens all the time, and informed me that it would take a week to come in. I was unable to transfer my order to another location or purchase a replacement on the spot. Later I did some research and saw that they did say part of the order was delayed hidden in one of the six emails they sent me during this process. Im sending feedback and hope they change things, but if you order for pick up do not rely on the texts they send. I still suggest visiting brick and mortar stores whenever possible to help in preventing the economy from completely collapsing and believe theyll get better with alternative purchase arrangements with practice.

Best Buy has changed a lot over the years, today they sell just about everything from refrigerators to computers and literally everything electronic in between. Naturally I cant speak for all of them, but the one Macedonia seems to be a well oiled machine. My recent experience was very positive versus previous ones where I wouldve liked to burn the place down because of geek squad. If you actually go to the store you will have no trouble finding someone who is actually knowledgeable in what they sell. I cannot stress strongly enough how important that is when youre trying to buy a router or replace the motherboard. These are not things that you can just figure out on your own (without making a trip and returning seven items) … Im writing this is just a layman like me will be reading this. Its very frustrating going to specialty stores and having staff simply assume that you speak the jargon. They dont do that here or at least they didnt on my visit. My 15-year-old daughter was complaining of poor Wi-Fi in her room so we went to Best Buy to see if he could find the range extender or repeater. The young lady I spoke to smirked a little and said I was wasting my money. She said we sell so many of these and every single one come back. They dont work, and if you buy this Ill see you tomorrow when you return it. She spent the next half an hour trying to explain to me the newest router system that comes with actual satellite routers that produce a different IP address and the same signal strength as the base. Its $400 versus the $29 item on Amazon or $138 item Best Buy. She said that she could tell I was there to buy a Wi-Fi extender and to give it a shot, maybe one other can actually work. I was not one that. I firmly fell within the nine. The next day I was back as she predicted and returned the item which was a very seamless process. Ironically, Amazon does sell a $29 Wi-Fi extender that works beautifully. I ultimately bought that but we always go to Best Buy first because I like to support local stores even if the big-box retailers. Most importantly the people make all the difference in the world. I have no doubt that what that young lady was trying to sell me was the correct approach I just found an item that works better for me and was a fraction of the price. One last thing… In our conversation she just happened to comment that they dont make commission so shes only trying to show me products that will solve my problem, she was telling the truth and thats why I like the store. Geek squad sucks

I was disappointed today when buying a phone here. I asked the girl what made the more expensive phones better. She replied the bigger the phone the better. It was like pulling teeth to get actual feature differences which she looked up on her phone. Then three of them told me incorrect information but tried to assure me it was correct by telling me how long one of them worked there. It happened to be information i knew the facts on so i felt that all three were lying to me.

And he really took good care of me and my sisters family who happened to be there looking to switch over carriers and ugrade/phones. They have a new process for in store shopping. They do in store consultations, but you must set up an appointment, and no more than 3 people may enter the store at one time. I hadnt set up an appointment, so I opted to place an online order for curbside pickup. My order was ready within 15 minutes of placing it, I pulled up into the pickup lane and the associates helped load my item into my car. Simple and easy!

Biggest run around ever. Had an issue with purchase,called customer service, told us no problem take receipt and exchange by 30th. Store said, no, wrong info given to us. One person told me to go get replacement item, then I had to rewait in line, another person said cant exchange because it was part of a bundle. We would have to take apart our whole ring system. They told us to deal directly with Ring. Waste of time, made special trip, gas. Very frustrating.
