When I say these people are so unprofessional.. EXTREMELY! My husband and I went into the store Wednesday morning looking for furniture. We got approved, paid and left. The man told us we would get it delivered the same day. During this time of us waiting for our delivery the man called from the store asking me about someone who used me as a reference on their account. Yes, I know of the person but had no knowledge that she used me as a reference, because they ask for a list of references but dont call them to confirm unless your late on a payment... So I knew nothing about me being in her account until she was behind on her payments. When I was aware that she used me as a reference I asked them to remove me from her account which they didnt. Long story short they denied us our furniture because of an account that had NOTHING to do with us. Then they didnt call say anything about it, I had to call them. Unprofessional, no wonder ever time I drive by I see no cars in the parking lot. Lol either way it went your not getting the furniture back and you just lost a customer.. How stupid can you be.
I went into store in Mableton, GA in Jan. 2016. I was pleased with young lady that took my order and she was very nice. She went on by assuring me that If at any chance I am late communicate and they will work with me considering the circumstances. My payment was due on Sat 5/7 and I was unable to pay because my check card was duplicated and was being used which I had to cancel my card. Since it was Saturday my bank was closed so I figured I will go in the branch on Mon to withdraw some funds to pay on account. Well Monday I got off late and was unable to make it to branch but I asked a family member to go by and pay for me and I will give them the money back once I got everything situated with bank. So here it is Tuesday Jaime(not sure of spelling of name) called me to check status of payment and I informed him that someone will bring by some cash today $40 and i will have the rest $27 by end of week and that should put me back on schedule. His tone of voice was very rude and I let him know that I understand that my payment was 2 whole days behind but there is no sense in being rude. He went on by saying let me make this easy for you just return it. WOOOOOOOOWWWW!!! Then he confidently transferred me to his Regional Mgr Daniel/David and after explaining the situation to him also not once did he apologize for his employee behavior. I refuse to give more money to Homesmart especially if they are rude so I decided to take him up on his advice and scheduled them to pick it up ASAP. Please be careful with HomeSmart Leasing company they have great merchandise but if you are late by 1 day they will treat you bad.. Worst Experience Ever with leasing and I plan to purchase my future electronics by paying in full because in the end its not worth it. So be a smart consumer...$750 later i could have owned this already... Im glad to say that they will not be getting no more of my dollars.
