Great customer service. I had bought a firearm and had an issue with it. Revolver casings wouldnt eject. Took it to them and had it back in an appropriate time. They even called when it was ready. Staff here is really nice. I like to support businesses like these instead of big retailers. They have a great selection of new and pre owned. Great prices and I will always look out for them like they looked out for me. When I got my revolver back I took it to the range and it worked perfectly. I went back upstairs to do some more shopping and they asked me if I was happy with the repair. I liked the simple fact that they asked. Im going back to get another piece Ive had my eyes on. You cant beat the customer service at this shop and range. I had taken a CCL years ago and was hoping to use my certificate to apply for another state. Solid range. Im a regular with a friend whos learning to shoot to eventually buy a handgun. Their unlimited rental exchange option is unique to Chicagoland which is why we go here. Every other range charges for each exchange but for a new shooter, its key to shoot through a few mags in each style. Their selection is really good.

Nice personnel, WIDE selection of rental fire arms, and competitive prices. 3 big pluses. One minus though is, the range, and hallway going into it look a bit run down. This place seems to make enough money, should definitely reinvest into their business, and modernize it.

Service was courteous and helpful. They will answer all your questions and treat old pros and newcomers alike with patience and knowledge. I would have given them 5 stars, but I had to special order an item that took several months to arrive. It wasnt their fault, but it was still irritating.

Although I started my process in Jan 2021 and did not receive my firearm until July I can say each time I visited the establishment I was treated very well. They took their time answering my questions and walking me through things. My wait was not their doing it was the shortage due to the rush from Covid. I ended up changing my purchase yet I am happy with it. Mel ( who I believe is no longer there) made my process comfortable and upon pick up Jaki knocked it out the park helping me choose other items I needed. Im sure my range time will live up to their reputation as well!

Absolute pleasure of an experience both at the range and the sales floor upstairs. I was helped by Donald who was extremely helpful in informing me about all the options I had for my first purchase. I was also with my girlfriend who was a bit nervous about coming to the shop, but Donald made her feel extremely comfortable and was very informative throughout the entire process. The range was an awesome experience and very well kept. Will be back in the future

Unless your a white male they treat you like your about to commit a crime. Associates position themselves (behind counter) as if they are prepared for combat while you speak with your sales rep. Asked about Foi for my wife and I was told to go online and there voicemail clearly states they assist with the process. Selection of guns are limited, reps are dishonest, place is outdated. Word of advice, go elsewhere!

First time at this range and I had a great experience. Friendly staff and good selection of rentals. Don was very knowledgeable and you can tell he loves helping people. I appreciate him helping my little brother out. I’ll be coming here from now on.

Very disappointed with my experience today at Midwest Guns, I have been a customer for over 10 years and always had a positive experience....Today I was going to put $150 down on my purchase of 725 dollars.. I was going to give the cashier 150 deposit for a SW 9mm EZ Perfirmace using my wifes credit which I am a authorized user an Co signer .This card is on my Cedit Report.I was told by the cashier I can not put a deposit using this card. !! Needless to say I dont think I will go back!!

Took my wife here yesterday 2 by some ammo. It was a little crowded so I had 2 step up to talk to someone so they wouldnt let people keep getting in front of us cause it was no lines. The guy had a really bad attitude first off, 2ndly we are black and he told her she couldnt buy any ammo cause I was the one who got his attention and told him what she needed. Granted I didnt have my foid card but I wasnt buying anything anyway I just got his attention for my wife and he said she should have gotten his attention and asked him and for that we had 2 leave. This was our first time here and Never going here again. Wish I could give zero stars

Always a great experience when I go. all firearms I’ve bought are still in great condition even after a couple thousand rounds and my maintenance of course. Range prices are a lot more fair compared to any other Chicagoland area range.

My father went in to get ammo for our upcoming range event. He called my mom to make sure he had enough money in his bank account since she handles the finances. The employee would not let him purchase ammo because he thought he was buying it for someone else. I have lots of firearm owners in my family and I guarantee you none of us will be purchasing anything from you in the future. 6-24-2021.

Everyone here is very professional and friendly. An awesome old school firearm shop with solid pricing and great services.My experience is seeing the Gunsmith. He took care of swapping out a part on my Sig P226 in about 10m, no problem. No waiting, no Ill get to it next week... BAM taken care of! So also bought two boxes of ammo and intention of going to the range later in the week.

Honestly, Im not giving it one star because of the owners/operators or employees. They were actually very polite and respectful, I do appreciate them for that. But the facilities equipment is beyond outdated with rules that do not favor any shooter. Whether they are experienced or a beginner. The range was 97 degrees and extremely humid, the target hanger is a crank operated, you arent allowed to shoot closer than 30 feet, which if you are training for self defense is beyond the average. Also $20 for a range fee is unacceptable for what you get. I understand the price of ammo, that is a non issue, right now as things are ammo is hard to find. But I would definitely steer absolutely clear from this facility. Other better equipped ranges are a much better option. And theyre the same price or LESS. Piss poor excuse for a range.

I went today for the first time and I loved it. The staff was great super friendly. I had lots of fun and enjoyed it . I reccomend.

I’ve taken many friends here to shoot or buy their first firearm. Good selection, comprehensive classes (I took a CCC here years ago) and great location. Range is larger than it seems from the outside, but can get crowded on weekends. Staff treat amateurs with respect and it shows they want people to be educated and safe. Prices and fees are among the best around.

I will not shop anywhere else. Great store.

Met a nice man who teaches advanced course. Really enjoyed talking to him. Had good conversation with him. He taught me a new stance for shooting. Also, a young man at the door wearing Western boots was really nice. Finally, a man with white mustache upstairs was helpful and even though I couldnt find what I wanted he was super nice to me. I will order online and come back

Yeasterday was my first time ever going to a gun range The staff were so nice and accommodating very kind and answer any questions I had kept checking in on me in my boyfriend to make sure We was good even after the closing time they let me finish up all my bullets I had left .the manager is very nice he walked me in boyfriend to our car answering all the questions we had. I explain to him how we loved the service in will be coming once a week !

I did my research and I knew what product exactly I would buy before coming to the Midwest, but as a first time firearm buyer I didnt really know what to expect. Well, Kevin made the entire process easy and enjoyable. He has spent enough time with me to go through the all maintenance and safety manuals in great details. Helped me to assemble the maintenance kit and answered all my questions. What can I say, a pleasant experience makes you want to come back. In summary, I had a good experience with this dealer. Will definitely consider coming again for my next purchase.

I’ve been in there a few times and every time the employees are friendly and professional. They take the time to help you find what you want and what you might need. They offer their suggestions about products you might not have known about. And hey, the selection is top notch! What else could you ask for?

I came in and was not greeted as others were. I was simply looking for a part I needed. After finally waiting to be attended to, I asked for it and was told they can help after they finished with the a customer who came in after me. I truly feel my appearance played a part in this behavior. I purchased 2 guns in the past and was not treated this way. I will never buy here again. I will stick to Shoot Point Blank.

Ive bought 3 firearms from here so far. They have great staff very friendly and knowledgeable! They can also order mostly anything and they have half off range entry fee on Fridays. They also have a great selection of used firearms that are very affordable I stop by to take a peak once in a while as you can find some great gems there. Overall i have had nothing but great experiences everytime I stop by.

If I could give 0 stars I would I bought by 1st gun here and been waiting since January to pick it up it’s always something on when I try to pick it up I been trying to be patience and keep my cool but I would not be shopping with them anymore I just want the gun I purchased and then I’m never coming here again I wouldn’t even buy ammunition from these clowns..
