I had brought a Kenmore vacuum to Tony ages ago and he did a great job fixing it, so I brought 2 more Kenmore for repair. He did a great job with both vacuums and tried to get new parts for the older vacuum to fix the cord reel and hose (not the original problem) but the parts are unavailable now. Still he did a great job with the problems I brought them in for and theyre both working great again. Highly recommend!!
My girlfriend and I came into the vac shop in Lyons because of how attentive and helpful tony was when we spoke to him on the phone about purchasing a new vacuum. From the moment we walked into the store, Tony made us feel comfortable and was very knowledgable about the vacuums he sells. He is holding an Oreck Command for us. I was really happy with the quick and effective service I received from Tony at the Oreck Vacuum Shop in Lyons.Several weeks ago a key attachment broke on our older Kenmore making it unusable. The replacement part was not immediately available from the manufacturer.Tony was able to repair and adapt the broken part. We have been using it without any problem ever since!
From the moment I walked in the shop Tony was thorough and explained the options for giving a tune up to not only my Oreck but my Dyson handheld vacuum. He kept me posted on progress with the vacuums. Both of my vacuums are again functioning like new! I highly recommend using this local and professional store for all your vacuum needs!
Brought in 2 electrostatic air purifiers for service, but after 25 years of faithful service, they had breathed their last. Tony found me 2 replacements at a very reasonable price, and patiently went over the parts and maintenance instructions. We also tested both machines on site. I also traded in my 25 year old Hoover for a new Oreck vacuum cleaner with a 5 year warranty and 5 free tune-ups. You cant get this kind of personal service at a big box store, and definitely not with an internet purchase.I highly recommend this place.
Ive been going to Orck of Lyons for several years and have received excellent service. Its always a pleasure doing business with Tony as he is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the vacs he sells. Ive got four pets at home, all of whom shed a ton, so I need to know that my vacuum is taken care of, and quickly. Tony has never failed to come through for me. You cant go wrong at Oreck of Lyons.
Tony has gone above and beyond in trying to help me resolve a warranty issue with my Oreck vacuum that broke after using it only 3 times. He has been extremely patient, followed up as needed, and is very knowledgeable regarding the product. I would trust this shop with any future repair work I need.

The Vacuum Shop in Lyons is really good. They have repaired my Oreck and my Dirt Devil were both clogged with my dog’s hair. My dog which is a White German Shepherd so the hair is everywhere you look. So they do a good job.
Elizabeth was fantastic! I dropped off an Orek last week that needed servicing, we use it A TON in my office. She gave me an upfront honest quote stating that it might be more or maybe a bit less but she would call with the exact amount after the tech looked at it. A few days later we spoke (her quote was exact) and I was up and running in less than a week. She was super knowledgeable on all of the products and honest about which ones would suit my needs. I ended up purchasing a commercial vacuum for for the office and now use the Orek at our cottage in Michigan. No high pressure sales tactics and the guarantee that if it breaks (which they never do with this brand) the parts are cheap and easy to get. I also purchased an air purifier on the way out which my whole family loves! I have and will continue to support this business! Thanks Elizabeth! Matt Gifford
I purchased a vacuum from this store in June 2013. Fast forward over two years, Ive misplaced my paperwork and my vacuum needs a new motor. The Oreck store in Cedar Rapids will not honor the warranty without paperwork. Kim from the Lyons store has gone above and beyond to make sure that Im being taken care of in another state. She called the Cedar Rapids store to make sure they would honor the warranty and give them the information from our purchase. I cannot recommend this store more. Excellent customer service goes a long way. This store and staff does not disappoint.

The ball on my Dyson broke, which made me call Dyson to schedule warranty work. They recommended this store for the repairs and sent over my appointment via fax/email. I arrived at the store and waited a few minutes for a couple customers dropping off their units for service. The first red flag happened while I was giving my information for visit. The phone rang. The gentleman writing me up let it go to the voice mail, which broadcast the message to everyone in the store. She dropped her vac off a couple of days ago and had not received a call and wanted to know what was going on. Sadly, I didnt think much of it at the time and left with my claim check being told they would let me know what is going on when they could. Two business days went by without a call. I called on the third day to find they didnt look at my vac yet, but it would be next. Two more days and I made another call. After a brief hold the gentleman comes back on to let me know that it needs a laundry list of things and it would cost over $100. I declined the work and asked for just the warranty work to be done. His tone changed and said that they would order the parts. I should have questioned it then, but they should have ordered the parts when they knew what broke. I finally called a few business days later to get an update. The most helpful man I talked to in the two weeks was only a fill in from their North side store. I asked him to check on my vac. He informed me it was still sitting there, no parts on order. I told him politely that I would be picking my vac up shortly because I dont trust them with it anymore. I called the owner, Don, and spoke with him about my experience. I didnt appreciate his tone and answer to my experience. Well things seem to be running well around here. Sorry, but I disagree. I had to work an apology out of you and even then you didnt care. If you have a Dyson and need warranty work, do yourself a favor and dont use this shop.
