This was my first time at their location and left with a smile on my face. Very helpful and understanding staff. I would go back to their location again. I would like to give shout out to Angel who helped me today. I am sure other staff members are as great as she is.

Updating rating from 1 to 4 stars.Got a call from BRC manager explaining their side of situation and they acknowledged that communication regarding delay could have been better from their side. After reading other reviews, situation I faced looks rare so I dont want to go too harsh on rating for one off situation especially when I know their side of the story now.BTW, I also received the item I ordered.Called them to check if they have a particular item in stock. They said yes. Went to their store in next 30 mins. They said No we dont have the item in stock so ordered item I was looking for by paying 100% in advance after they gave expected delivery date in 15 days. It is now 35 days since full payment and item is not yet arrived.

Horrible customer service. 4 employees working (possibly 5) with 2 or 3 doing stuff in the back room and letting customers just stand there waiting. Heres a bit of free advice. When theres huge nationwide dealers offering the same coins with free Priority shipping youd better step up your game. I wont be back.

Poor service. Waited 90 minutes in line for what would have been a five minute cash purchase.The (obviously overwhelmed) staff kept moving complex appraisal appointments to the front of the line, leaving them with zero capacity for sales or for walk-up customers.When I raised the issue, the clerk told me I should have made an appointment. That makes sense if I were looking for an appraisal, but it is not a reasonable expectation for a retail purchase.I have done business with Bellevue in the past, but am unlikely to return unless they improve their organization and service.

I highly recommend the store have one person dedicated to serve quick in and out transactions when there are a lot of customers waiting. I dont think a customer should wait for 1 hour for a 10 minutes transaction. And people are really taking their times. Ill go to the Bellevue location in the future

Been shopping here the last several weeks. Prices are cheaper than other dealers around and their inventory is well stocked. I have been purchasing precious metals/bullion at the Lynnwood location since last year. I wanted to call out Angel Munchel for her outstanding service. She was very attentive, patient, and helpful. She offered a few extra coin protectors for individual silver pieces, and when a shipment came in while we were there - she offered to process that so we could review the new stock that arrived. She did not have to do that. I never felt rushed despite the line of people who were waiting. He has opened stock for me to get a closer look - even when it was not super necessary. He seems as curious as I am...and whether he knows it or not, I feel more apt to buy from Taylor due to his demeanor and experience there in the store. I have been there multiple times with mixed customer service. Some employees are great and some are very rude. I get the feeling that the owner/management is rather strict and does not understand how to create a relaxed space for customers. But there is little competition in the area so they continue to get my business.

Having never been there before, Ive now been to the Bellevue location three times in the last month and each time was a great experience. Kyle helped me twice - hes very patient and friendly, taking the time to explain the process of how he arrives at a quote and meticulously inspecting the items. I didnt get the name of the other gentleman who helped me, but he was also friendly and professional. What I liked most is that there was zero pressure to sell, and I never felt rushed. They were absolutely willing to take a look at an item and give you a quote, then give you the time to decide what you wanted to do, even discussing the pros and cons with you (for example, I brought in a very thin gold bracelet that wouldnt net me very much because of its low weight. When I said I thought I might keep it to give to a niece b/c it would cost much more to purchase at retail, they agreed with me, even indicating how much they thought it might cost to purchase something similar.). They never took an item into the back, everything was very open and honest. The store itself is clean and airy, and I like how they are adhering to Covid-19 health guidelines. I wouldnt hesitate to go back.

The first time I visited was a wonderful experience.Today I visit again and when I walk in I am screamed at to take off my hat! When I asked why I was told “it is just like a bank” (by the same guy that waited in me the first visit)It is ironic that we can all wear a mask inside but a hat is offensive. Very disappointed with the customer service. They are dishonest and not ethical at all.I took my ring to sell and first thing Angel will ask “How much you want to sell? And then gave half price to what you have asked. I took my ring to another Bellevue coin location and they gave a much much better price .Please do not go to lynnwood location at all.On one occasion she graded my diamond lab created and I took it to Shane Co. where they appraised my stone as natural diamond . She has no knowledge but think very smart.Very very disappointed . It’s disgraceful to have such people in customer service.

The gentleman (Steve) there explained everything to us regarding rarity and condition and carefully assessed each coin. He looked each type up in a huge manual and explained how frequently they are updated. He and another gentleman also showed us some rare bills that were interesting. I had taken 2 gold rings to a pawn shop before coming to the lynnwood bellevue rare coins. I will always come to Bellevue rare coins from now on. The woman at the pawn shop (the manager I might mention) tested both my rings and proceeded to tell me that they were not real. Even though they were both clearly marked 14K. I took the rings to BRC and right away he knew they were real, weighed them, and gave me over $100 for them. I will be coming back.

Went in the other week hoping to sell some jewelry for tuition money, they offered my $59! It was worth way more than that. I took the same jewelry to the location in Bellevue on the same day and was offered more than 11× the $59 offer.The employee was either way to inexperienced to work without a supervisor or was trying to scam me

I talked on the phone with Frank. He gave clear answers to my questions. The next day I met with him and he was knowledgeable, pleasant and gave me a good price for my coins.

THEY ARE VERY DISHONEST! I used to go to the Bellevue Rare Coins in Bellevue quite frequently and I always left very satisfied. After moving from Bellevue to Everett last month, My husband and I decided to go to the Lynnwood location as to where its much closer then Bellevue. BIG MISTAKE! I always do the leg work before I take in my valuables and have it evaluated, I have a scale at home so i know how much i have, and i use a live gold and silver calculator through google to figure out the value based on live gold and silver prices. Anyway, we took in a 14k gold watch face weighing 4.4g. Based on live gold prices at that moment, it totalled out to $122. Now, i know that when selling, thats not the amout you get but, you at least get close to that. The older gentleman that was helping us straight up LIED and said it was only worth $73 based on gold price! I declined his $73 offer because Im not stupid. He then did the acid test on the gold around my vintage cameo brooch. He checked it at both 10k and 14k and said its somewhere between 10k and 14k, but not quite 14k. That left me a little confused but, I already had this guy figured out. Next, I handed him my heirloom 14k natural ruby halo ring. He tested the ruby and the surrounding stones....surprise surprise! He tells me its a lab grown ruby which, I knew was another LIE! When we got in the car i told my husband i wanted to get a second opinion so the next day, we drove the extra 20 miles and went to the real Bellevue rare coins in Bellevue. long story short; i got $101.00 for watch. The cameo brooch was actually 18K! And the Ruby, just I already knew, WAS indeed a Natural Ruby, NOT lab grown like the lynnwood crook said! IF YOU WANT TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR TREASURES, THEN DO NOT GIVE THESE THIEVES YOUR BUSINESS! DRIVE THE EXTRA 20 MILES AND GO TO THE REAL BELLEVUE RARE COINS IN BELLEVUE! I promise its worth it!

Very simple no nonsense process. Emailed on Wednesday about the value of some gold coins I wanted to selll. Got an email back on Thursday morning with a more than fair offer. By the time I drove down on Friday the price of gold had gone up and I ended up with $40 more than I was offered on Wednesday. Entire transaction took less than 5 minutes in the store. Stopped in with an earring ~.53 CT Diamonds 18K gold to see what we could get for it. Had it recently appraised for ~$1,200. This place offered us $100. What a joke. I thought this was a coin & jewelry store offering fair prices for customers jewelry, not a damn pawn shop. We will never visit this store again. Stay away unless you are very desperate because you will not get a fair price for your jewelry.

I definitely would recommend them TO MY WORST ENEMY . Rip offs I had one ounce gold metal from 1924 and a gold pocket watch from 1929. When I walked in the guy had offered me $25 for the two. After talking to another employee they had offered 500 for The Medallion they had asked me if they could cut into the peace a I had agreed to do so. 30 minutes after they cut in to it they decided on drilling through it With out my permission. Which ruined totally ruined the gold medal Beyond repair. After all said and done they declined Im buying either one of the pieces.

I called before I came to make sure they have junk silver. They said yes. I show up, and they have none. Apparently they have inventory in Bellevue, but not Lynnwood. Dont waste your time here, go to a real coin dealer.

It is a very nice place and was inpressed at first.Is a good place to get money for silver and gold.But this is all they care about, Bellevue Rare coins is nothing more than a fancy scrap yard for silver and gold.I went in a few days ago with coins that i had inherited.Before going i did research on all of the coins.One of the coins was rare and recently sold at auction for over $1300.The dealer at Bellevue Rare Coins would only give me about .30 cents for the wieght in silver. So if you care about the history of your coins this is not a place to go. It is either that or the dealer knew what i had and was trying to scam me.

Staff will definitely take advantage of you when buying your coins and precious metals. Do your homework before selling anything to these people.

Steve is the absolute best I sold a couple of half ounce 24 karat gold Mexican peso coins and I purchased an American gold Eagle coin. Also I purchased a couple of Swiss gold bars I could not be happier with my purchase!

Ive been going to the Bellevue Rare Coins - Lynnwood location for about seven months now. I started collecting U.S. paper currency and U.S. coins over 40 years ago and I have always found the folks at the Lynnwood location to be knowledgeable, professional, and great folks to get to know. On the rare occasion when they dont know the answer about old coins or old paper currency they diligently research the topic and get back to me with the correct information. I have made several purchases, both coins and paper currency, and every time I visit they call me by name and are eager to help me. Ive recently had three bundles of paper currency graded by PMG along with two CC Morgans and Angel has proven to be a tremendous help !! Angel has become my go to person whenever I need any assistance with my collection and she always makes me feel welcome at the store. The gentlemen who work with Angel are also good guys and always willing to jump in and help.I will continue to visit the Lynnwood branch two or three times a month and I highly recommend anyone to make a visit there. I wanted to sell my graded MS69 gold coin, guy who was helping me went out back to get a price and comes back with my coin out of the case. I have came here a couple times to get appraisals on silver and gold also to buy silver bullion. My experince with them is young and arrogant employees I cant empasize enough how arrogant they come across. I am not some crotchety old man either I am 27 so them being young should not offend me .They are not helpful at all also they seem to really lack the knowledge on coins it appears only 1 guy there knows anything and they have to run everything by him. Dont let the radio fool you this place sucks. I will never go back to this place ever again! The coin store just down the road has always treated me good and they know 20X more about coins and collecting than this company.

Came into the store to check out some coins. as i was viewing their selection an employee asked me to move as if i was in the way of something which was bs. i thought they would want my money but apparently i’m just in the way.

I felt they gave me a fair quote for my 100g bar, however, they also said we cant give you cash, even after checking in with a manager in the back. Ive been buying and selling gold for 20 years and Ive never had a legitimate store tell me that (except for transactions over 10K). What I read in the subtext of their message is we dont give people of color cash because your gold is most likely stolen, but well give you a check that you can deposit in your bank account (because you probably dont have one). Shame on you BRC!

Sold Gold coins here on Saturday, It was such a hassle to get payment, they wrote me a check, I went to their bank they wouldnt cash it. I deposited into my BECU account took about a week to clear, I was very worried about it all week since I no longer had my property. Very stressful experience.

Offered me $45 for 1598 grams of 925 silver that has a melt value of $700.50. You might wanna go elsewhere!!!
