I’ve worked with the owner and her husband on many occasions and have had nothing but wonderful service. Mary is extremely knowledgeable about her craft and every time I handed off something to her I got back exactly what I wanted!!! She’s personable, charming, and produces high quality work!!! I plan to use her services for my vow renewal outfit which needs some taking in. I’m looking forward to working with Mary again!!!

I had the BEST experience here! This was the first dress store we stopped and and we didnt have to go anywhere else! The prices alone make it unbeatable! Mary was fantastic to work with. She listened to me about my budget and found me dresses I loved! She was extremely knowledgeable, and honest, which I appreciated very much. She was very kind. I brought my 9 year old daughter and 2 month old son with me (along with my sister, best friend, mom and soon to be mother in law) and she accommodated every one. She was understanding when my son cried and even let me feed him to help calm him down. She took the time to show my daughter how to lace up my dress and talked to her about color options for bridesmaid dresses. I absolutely said yes to the dress here and am so happy! Thank you Mary for such a wonderful experience! I would totally recommend making an appointment here!

We walked in (after stopping at Davids Bridal), just to check out what they have. We were initially hit by a strong and unpleasant smell at the boutique, and then a lady with her sweat pants and slippers walked out to meet us. Bride-to-be said she is looking for short wedding dress but after we were told they dont have any, we walked away.Unpleasant experience, now i see why they have such a low rating

I came across Brides and Beyond not expecting to buy a dress. Mary was so helpful and took the time to show me different styles within my budget. I was able to get my dress in time (my wedding was in a month of me coming in) and she made sure I was happy with my purchase. Definitely recommend this place!

Mary is absolutely amazing (she’s the owner). Her store was the only place I tried on wedding gowns and found the one thanks to her suggestion. Her store has great variety and all different styles. Wedding gowns can be the most overwhelming decision when you’re wedding planning but she made it so easy. I am a little curvy so I was nervous about how things might fit but Mary suggested styles that were flattering and in my budget. She listened to all the things I wanted in a dress, all my concerns and took into consideration where my wedding was and what time of year (farm in August). I can not be more happy with my dress and the service I’ve recwived. I ended up ordering all of the bridesmaid dresses from Mary as well since I felt so comfortable and cared for. I would recommend her to all brides!

The first bride dress I bought from Amazon needed alterations it was too long. I gave it to a boutique who said they would do an amazing job, a month later I picked up the dress THREE DAYS before my wedding and when I put it on the dress I realized that’s they chopped off the bottom and just sewed it back on without hemming it and it looked like a window curtain. My sister and mom took me to brides and beyond two days ago, and the owner was so sweet with me when I told her what had happened, she put herself in my shoes and helped me very quickly. I found a beautiful dress, alterations needed to be done and she did them in one day, she saved a bride in danger! I highly recommend this boutique definitely will come again!!!!! Quick note: she has been in business for 35 years! She has made custom wedding dresses! Thank you so much!

Definitely a hole in the wall type of shop and I was unsure walking in, but Mary was ultimately very helpful and we said yes to the dress! We had been to 4 or 5 bridal shops already and were discouraged if we would know when it was “thee one”. Mary became very invested in the experience with us and helped through the decision process and was very patient. She knows what she is talking about and also is a knowledgeable seamstress to top it off.

Me and my bridal party called and made an appointment. They had us wait for 15 minutes before saying anything to us. Then let us know that she wants to move our appointment back a half hour bc she accidentally booked another appointment at the same time. We agree and try to be understanding. We patiently waited and then we were moved into the back room where the alterations were done. Where there wasn’t much privacy. The entire appointment the lady was extremely rude and bossy. First she told us to pick out dresses, and then once we started she would get mad at us for trying to pick out dresses. She wouldn’t listen to anything we were saying about the style of dress I was looking for. We left very upset and feeling mistreated. I will NEVER go back to that terrible place. Horrible communication and customer service.

I found the owner of this store to be irritable and impatient. She demanded answers about my budget repeatedly, and then refused to let me try dresses based on my answer rather then letting me try what I want and decide for myself. This was after scheduling an appointment and coming back. She then decided that I had already picked my dress, which was the only one she allowed me to try on. As soon as I told her Im not making my decision today, she shut me down.This shop owner seems overwhelmed and is pretty rude. Interrupts a client constantly. I left and will not return. Not recommended for customer service or prices. What happened to letting the bride decide?!?!Only has time for certain clients. Very selective about who she will serve. Expensive!

This was the only negative experience of my daughters wedding. The owner was rude not only to the attendants with us (all 30 somethings) & my daughters future Mother In Law. There was one dress my daughter liked, but the woman was so rude when we inquired how she would shorten the dress by 10 & not lose the detail around the bottom, that we considered buying it & having it altered elsewhere. Luckily we found a perfect dress at our next stop.I would never do business here!

The owner was very nice at first! She showed me around & I also tried on a few dresses that I liked. I told her that I didn’t want to make a for sure decision right then & there. And, that I needed more time to decide. She rudely asked me, why am I looking for a dress if I can’t make a decision right away? She forced her opinions on me & barely let me get a word in. Super disrespectful, degrading & rude! DO not go here!!

After going into multiple bridal stores to try on gowns I found the ladies and service to be amazing at Brides and Beyond. They were helpful and patient much more than all the other store we had visited that we found pushy and just looking for a sale. I highly recommend Brides and Beyond after the service i received.

Brides and Beyond is fantastic and it is because of Mary. When my daughter 1st arrived in the winter to look at gowns, Mary was above and beyond helpful with suggestions. The fact that she did not try to show anything too pricey meant a lot to us as well. When we arrived for the final fitting, it was just fantastic. She had perfected the gown to fit beautifully. She showed me how to bussel the dress by easily matching color ribbon to color ribbon. Marys personal interest in my daughter and her kindness is unsurpassed in good customer service, this place is a must for brides to be and their wedding gown!!

Yesterday I tried on some dresses at Brides and Beyond. I thought I found the right dress and put it on lay-by. After coming home and looking through some photos I realised Id made a mistake and went back the next morning. Mary was so understanding and allowed me to try on some other dresses, telling me it was okay and that we could exchange it. She was lovely and made my day! Would definitely recommend Brides and Beyond!

She found my sister a amazing plus size wedding gown for less than a grand, and we found our bridesmaid dresses almost instantly. Great customer service and she is honest about the Cost of alterations which most places are not.

Customer service was very unprofessional.The owner was literally forcing me to try on dresses I did not like at all and she was raising her voice and pointing fingers at me with a really rude tone. Do not recommend!!

My friend (the bride) made an appointment. When we showed up we had to stand around for at least 15 minutes before we got service. We reminded the guy that we had an appointment at 2:30, that’s when the other customers stated there’s was at 2:30 as well. At this time the owner said she called yesterday and told her they rescheduled to 3 (not true). So she put us in the back room and was rushing back and forth. Terrible service and wouldn’t allow us to help at all. She just doesn’t seem like she enjoys her job at all and doesn’t care about the customers.

Wow..if I could leave no stars for this place I would. As a small business you would expect at least decent customer service but this lady Mary is a cruel joke. I have been calling this place for a month trying to make an appointment to try on dresses. Finally this week after I went to their site to try to contact them(still no answer)on a whim I call again, they finally picked up the phone-I try to schedule an appointment for this weekend, she proceeded to ask me a bunch of questions; what kind of dress am I looking for, whats my budget,whens my wedding, etc. When I told her my wedding wasnt this year she rudely dismissed my request by saying we only make appointments for serious brides and weddings that are this year but I can come in and browse on the week days. She then proceeded to tell me if I wanted to try something on, I would have to schedule an appointment(isnt that what Ive been trying to do?) First of all serious brides I think me being willing to spend over $700 on a dress means Im dead serious. And lastly let me say you cannot judge some one by simply talking to them via phone. If youre looking for a dress be warned, youll be treated like trash before you even set foot in the store.

I loved it, they are very nice and helpful, my sisters wedding was 4 days away, and in 2 days she had a perfect dress.

WARNING STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS SHOP. The owner was supposed to have my daughters wedding dress done by the 2nd of the month and the wedding was on the 6th. We found a better dress at a bridal show so we werent worried if we picked it up after the wedding, got there on the 9th and it still WASNT DONE! Claims she was sick and after reading other reviews that seems to be something she claims alot but didnt want to call us cause she was afraid that the wedding didnt happen. We paid all up front at original visit $550.00 and she did nothing but complain that we bought a cheap dress online and you get what you pay for. Personally if she thought it was such a terrible dress why did she agree to work on it. She made my daughter feel horrible and not once offered to give us a refund for any of it. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SHOP.

If I could rate this store a negitive star or no star I would. Start off by saying theres little to look through. I showed pictures of what I had in mind an she just pointed to each wall an said the price range for each section. Didnt help find what I was looking for. Than after the first dress I tried on mind u I only found 2 an they werent even on my list she started asking if I wanted to buy it put it on credit or debit after I told her I need to wait till Friday she looks at my mom an says you can buy her dress she can pay you back an kept pushing to buy it. When I decided to just walk out an asked what the designer of the dress was she told me dont worry about it in till I decided to do a payment with her. I asked for her card an she ignored me.Horrible place I will never recommend this to anyone.

Mary or something around that name was super rude and disrespectful to the point where we just left.. no matter what a person looks like customer service and courtesy should come before judgement.. I know this because I work in customer service..

If I could give 0 stars I would. There was a guy in a suit up front that knew NOTHING about appointments etc and everytime someone would ask him something hed be like oh okay and ignore them basically. We had an appt at 2:30 and when we got there, there was one person working who was doing like personal shopping for two other brides. They told me I could put aside some dresses my sister wanted to try on, and then when we did, she kept putting them back on the rack and then bringing them to my sister like she found them for her lol. It was so weird and she was not helpful at all. Also my sister is like a size 2, maybe 4 and they came up to us and told us to look for size 16. They also had her change in like an office instead of a dressing room and the guy previously mentioned in the suit just happened to be in the random hallway a couple times while she was changing... (I honestly have NO idea why he worked there). The lady who was running around like her head was cut off was also rude and would make comments about the dresses before my sister could even react. I had to make a review because this place was extremely horrible.
