My husband and I have been customers of F & L Market even before it was called F & L Market and unless there are a lot of changes in the future we will continue to shop there. There is not another grocery store in town where you can go to the meat department and get custom cut meat. GW, the meat manager, is fantastic and his staff is as equally cordial and as cooperative as he is. They all go out of their way to make their customers happy. I will also like to recognize the entire staff at F & L for the kindness that each of them display when greeting customers. Great people, great attitudes and great customer service.

Small grocery store, large selection of meats and frozen vegetables. I recommend this store.

This place should be shut down by the health dept. Rolls of bologna and lunch meats solid gray. Bags of pepparonie gray. I got 5 pounds of hamburger. That was pink by the time I got home 40 minutes later. It was gray and had to be thrown away. This was on a cool day.. fruits and veggies looked terrible. This use to be a very nice store but not anymore. Not clean at all. Dont go there.

Compact shopping experience. I found most of what I was looking for and didnt have to walk miles to get to it. Clean store, friendly staff. In and out so much faster than the larger stores...really liked that.

Its better than you expected. By this I mean theres plenty of fresh items that are a little off brand maybe but all the same quality and just as good. The cashiers and store personnel work hard to give attention to each individual member and deliver a quality experience for all; and the overall shopping experience is pleasant and thought out.

It says curbside pickup, called store spoke with manager she said we don’t do that here no one available to pick out groceries!

This is an interesting market. They have all the things you would expect at a chain grocery, but it is not so it is an independent. I find that neat.

GW and the rest of the butchers at F&L take care of you. To be able to pick up the phone, call in an order and KNOW it is going to be right when you get there. Pretty awesome. They also carry Formula L Biscuit mix. Not easy to find. There is a reason the prices are low, yes the store is modest in appearance but they deliver where it counts!

Stopped in while visiting from Roanoke. I always like to check out the independent supermarkets. I was impressed by the meat and produce department. I didnt have a cooler with me so I couldnt get any meats.They had toilet paper. The motel style rolls. I got 4 rolls which was the limit.Prices on some name brand products a little high but they dont have the buying power of the big chains.

Only grocer left in town with an actual BUTCHER on staff. Good prices on meat. Really needs refurbishing...bright, colorful paint and perhaps rearranging of aisles/product would be a great improvement!

This is my spot, Food lion has gone to pots, Kroger is overpriced, but F&L is in the front. Wide selection of meats with some stuff that you cannot get anywhere else. Where else can you buy a whole rabbit to cook up? Great place and friendly staff.

As Mr. Claybaugh said, the place isnt much to look at, but the staff is courteous and helpful, and the prices are very good. We go there for the meats, mostly. They are fresh, high quality, and the prices are unbeatable!Also, the F&L is locally owned, which is a big plus. Give them a try.

The food mart was great but despite my friends dog having all of her identifying marks and an ID card signifying her service dog status, the people operating the laundromat gave us a very hard time. They tried to mitigate the situation but saying, in broken English, that they understand, but they clearly did not understand the ADA laws on service animals.

Staff is usually extremely friendly but their prices are pretty high. I can go to Walmart and but the same thing for half the price for what theyre asking. Also, their peanut brittle they have around Christmas time is the bomb com!

The store is very filthy and people please be aware that the meat may be old or very brown. I have noticed how dark and fast the meats turn brown.. Also there are mice dropping inside the produce bins.. Yuck what makes matters worse there are visible cockroaches everywhere..
