Bought 2 of these recliners Christmas 2020. In no time the base on both broke, they set crooked. And have scratched our wood floors. Also the threads snag and pull out so easy. I guess u get what you pay for. Average size people use them, no kids.

I left a negative review for Big Lots in the Danville, Virginia location a year or so ago.The Big Lots located in Lynchburg, Virginia have great employees that are eager to help. The store is well organized and easy to navigate.

The store carries some imported food stuffs -nice. The prices on some items are decent while others are a little high. The staff is friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking.

Big lots what can you really say they have all kinds of stuff from here to there up-and-down good deals Its very good selection for cheap furniture would recommend stopping by taking a look if youre looking for something inexpensive and not too pricey they have a lot to choose from pretty clean store as well and very helpful

Ordered offline in April because we didnt see anything in store, were still waiting for the love seat & sofa. Also purchased dining room table ($400.00) the quality of the product isnt that great all the screws have came outta the bottom of all the chairs and bench we ended up using liquid nail, i miss when the companies actually cared about the quality of their products . Never again, not that it matters but I will spend my money elsewhere.

Employees are very friendly and do great work. However store is very outdated and feels like an expired K-Mart. Do some basic renovations and this place would be pulling more business

They have redone the store since Ive been there....trying to become less of a seconds type store... but that includes increased prices. They were sold out of most of the garden supplies but I guess that is my fault for shopping too late. I used to love the make up section bc it was full of cheap odds and ends. They seem to be upgrading to a constant inventory...which is reflected in the increased prices. The cashier (male) was super friendly as he always is without being creepy. Lol.

The store also looks run down and dirty. I went in trying to buy something that was advertised and said that was available today. They didnt have any out so I found an employee (which took a while) and asked if they had any in the back. His answer was I dont know but I will check after I load something for someone. We waited for a long time and he never came back. So I found him again and asked if he looked and he said well yeah we dont have it. I dont think he ever went to look. I dont know why I even bothered to go in there. The employees are never friendly and it is just so junky.

It was kind of difficult to get some information about the couch I was interested in and if I could get it delivered. There were plenty of people working there that were walking around, but never said anything to me.

Kind of like a mini Walmart... during holidays this place can clear out a lot but other than those times, good selections and plenty of them! Pretty surprised with all they had after not being here in a while. A good place to get household things like hangers or old fashioned candies you can’t find other places

Helped me find what i was looking for and recommended some other things that i could use as well. Wish i could recommend him for a raise or accommodation of some sort. I found the perfect chairs for my kitchen at a reasonable price. The gentleman in the furniture dept is extremely nice.

Last office chair, wouldnt sell the display.I guess theyd rather make $0 instead of $100.Manager said “The truck comes in tomorrow at 12”. l I am from out of town and headed home this afternoon. I needed one for our Lynchburg office...does me no good tomorrow. I will just order off of Amazon for less $$ anyways. No wonder Amazon is the number on retailer when this is the kind of service local brick and mortar stores provide.

Service is lacking. While the cashier was pleasant, there was only one attending the Cash Register. There were 8 People waiting. I waited in line for 15 minutes and I was second in line. Only GOD knows how long the other shoppers waited. I will not be returning to that Big Lots.

Not as much clutter as it used be . Havent shopped here in years. But found a lot of items I didnt expect them to have.

Went here on a Friday afternoon looking for a specific piece of furniture which they had but it was already sold.Will check some other big lots stores.They had 75% off all Christmas items when I was there and they already got out Easter items Valentines items and summer things.From furniture to linens to groceries to electronics and small appliances, this store does hold a lot of stock.its best to go in person because a lot of times you cannot find what you want online or itll say its unavailable when in reality it is.

Good selection on products. I love the food section because you can find things that you cant find elsewhere. The prices are good and so are the quality. Employees and cashiers are professional and friendly.

I love to wander in here to see what goodies they have that day. Items change as they get buy out merchandise into stock. They have some regularly stocked items--like bottled water, seasonal items, and bargain furniture, but styles change and brands come and go. The staff here are very helpful and keep up with the the changing locations of items. Usually excellent prices and sometimes unusual items. A fun place to wander and look. Each Big Lotts carries slightly different selections, so shopping different locations offers new possibilities.

You will most always buy something before you leave the store even if you had no plans to buy anything going into the store. Good to average stuff with great prices. Swimming pools are always great in here

Big Selection

Bought a sectional sectional couch. The experience was quick and easy, and we received great service. Also a great valued compared to the major furniture companies.

Im not even giving this place a damn star. My fiance and I came in this place two weeks ago and put a price hold on a couch, we come in today to pay the rest and they turned around and sold it under us. I will never come in this place and get furniture ever again

Big Lots always amazes me. They have a wonderful selection of just about everything save electronics. I love going there. Even though our location is in a very old building I still enjoy rummaging through the aisles looking for bargins. Big Lots is also a great place to shop for Christmas. Lots of stocking stuffers and presents for under the tree.

Bryan is the Man! Best customer service person I have dealt with in a long time! I recommend if you go to this BL store you ask for Bryan!

Really good deals on all kinds of things, seasonal items, food, home furnishings and decorative items, some hardware and tools, cleaning supplies, pet food and toys. Seasonal items at big discounts in to the season.Plenty of parking (old Kroger building), friendly staff.I go sometimes for specific things, sometimes just to look around for deals.

Not at all what was expected. Highly disappointed. I thought this was suppose to be a discount store. Very expensive! You can get same items cheaper at Wal-Mart or Amazon. The store was messy and very dirty. The shopping carts were very dirty and parts of the wheels were missing making the cart difficult to handle. There was trash all in the floors. Items were thrown on shelves all mixed up. Will not be visiting here again.

I always loved Big Lots in the past their selection and price were great. Todays visit was disappointing and their pricing was a bit high for the quality of their products.

Big Lots was a big disappointment. While the selection of products was varied, the quality and price of the products were horrible. The items were cheaply made and sold at outrageous prices. You could go to a different store a get a better product at half the price. Additionally, the condition of the store was terrible. The store was dusty with damaged items everywhere. I do not recommend wasting your time at a Big Lots.
