Had a Plain Jane (eggs & cheese) and a Papas Diablo (eggs, cheese, a potato hash & a squirt of Sriracha). The sandwich itself was super greasy and yet pretty good. When I think of Diablo, I think something with a kick and not like a love tap. The ice cold coffee was really good! Plain Jane was on a everything bagel. Pretty straight forward sandwich. Service was pretty quick. I do think a simple syrup for their ice coffee is better than sugar that doesnt dissolve as an option. Parking for this location isnt ideal. Especially when this place does get busy.
Spectacular bagels, and solid coffee.We took Bird scooters up to this eatery on a hill with a beautiful view. By 11:30, they are already running out of certain items so if you have your heart set, head in early!Our blueberry with plain cream cheese was a classic to perfection. The pig n fig on salt was a wonderful combination of flavors as well, so don’t be afraid to be a little adventurous.
We were visiting our son in Lynchburg and on our way back from a walk and a run at Blackwater Creek Trail, we stopped to pick up breakfast. Friendly staff, adorable place, food was good! Would like to see some vegan options and parking was not plentiful, you have to park on street probably most of the time. That was the reason for 4 out of 5 stars. We would definitely come back again!
Came here the other day for the first time because Ive been trying to avoid the crowds common here during the school year, and I have to say that I was very impressed. The Fig and Pig sandwich was exceptional, and I was happy to see that have nitro cold brew on tap. The vibe is really nice when sitting on the picnic tables out front, and although it was still somewhat busy, it was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend
This place is amazing! We got the BEC (added avocado) and the fig and pig. Both were delicious, though the latter is really something special. This place has a ton of 5 star ratings for a reason! We ordered ahead and there was literally no wait. (Note: it is small and seating is limited)
The herbivore sandwich is delicious. The lavender lemonade is perfect: definite lavender flavor (so many times things are marketed as lavender but taste of nothing), and a just-right balance of tartness with a hint of sweet. Not cloying, unlike a frozen lavender lemonade I tried elsewhere. Even when busy the line moves quickly and it doesnt take long for the sandwiches to come out. And what is also impressive is that the employees behind the counter and in the kitchen - at least the multiple. times Ive been there- seem to be enjoying what they are doing. An overall good atmosphere in addition to great food at a reasonable price.
OMG these bagels were sooo good! I got cinnamon raisin, blueberry, and garlic. We also got some of their cream cheese which was creamy and delicious. The blueberry bagels were large and perfect. You taste the fresh bread and then you hit a fresh gooey blueberry yum! The garlic bagels were perfect with our dinner. Next time I’ll use them for sandwiches. I also liked the cinnamon raisin yummy. Can’t wait to go back and try the amazing looking sandwiches they offer every one of them sounded so good.
Not the best coffee, but bagel sandwiches are delicious. High quality ingredients, very well made. Only critique on bagel sandwiches is they can be a little dry-but the quality of the ingredients makes up for it!
Ive been a few times and Ive gotten take out many times. The bagels are well baked and delicious by any standard. The sandwiches are creative and filling. Hate to leave a place hungry and you wont at this place!
Genuinely the best bagels Ive ever had! Since moving away from Lynchburg, I make it a point to stop here every time Im back in the area! My favorite option on the menu is the fig n pig. Super fresh ingredients and you can tell the bagels are freshly made with care each morning. Highly, highly recommend.

Got a to go order. The smoked salmon is fantastic! Its a little pricey, but my sandwich was also a good size, and really tasty. Worth every penny! Go get you a bagel!

It was ok. The bagel needed more flavor, especially the everything bagel. I thought the bagel was doughy. Didnt have that brown outside that makes it firm.
Perfect bagels in a variety of options. Bagel sandwiches are a little pricey at around 5 - 7 bucks. However you get fresh flavorful ingredients and it is filling.

This was a great place to get bagels, bagel sandwiches and coffee. We went in the morning on a Saturday and it was timely, coffee is delish and bagel sandwiches are good and filling.I have starred it on my maps for next time.

Ive been visiting here more recently since I realized theyre down the street from me. Great bagels, kind staff always happy to help the pickiest of eaters, and a decent selection of options. Parking lot is very tiny, so would recommend using ordering ahead so you dont get stuck. Also recommend avoiding the juice; nothing wrong with it, past the price for a small bottle.
The bagels are some of the best in the Burg. Ill definitely be stopping by when Im in the area.

Goodness their bagels (and the sandwiches made on said bagels) are tasty as can be. The folks here did an awesome job converting this tiny space into a destination for delicious food. Parking can be a pain in the butt however is totally worth it.Get there early because they will sell out.
My son took us here while visiting in town. The bagels and coffee were good, but it is small. Recommend planning to grab and go, which we did.
Being from new york, Im often disappointed in bagels in the south. Though I wasnt blown away here, I wasnt disappointed, and for lynchburg, thats a 5-star experience. These scratch the itch for a good morning bagel, and thats all you need. Coffee is good too. They have nice breakfast sandwiches, and they but cream cheese on them instead of cheese slices which is, in my opinion, the correct way. My only gripe is that my egg was not runny, though Im sure I could ask them for a runny egg next time. Seems like the kind of place that would do that

As a dedicated bagel joint this place rocks, I love their bagels and cream cheese, they are still newer so I know they will be coming out with more options in the future. The breakfast sandwiches taste fresh and they use great ingredients. I recommend this place for their bagels but I do think Blue Ridge Bagels wins in the cream cheese flavors department for now.

I got the Classic (egg, bacon, cheese) on a plain bagel. It was completely tasteless. The bacon wasnt cooked well- brittle and no flavor. The cheese wasnt even melted. The outside of the bagel was nice and crispy but the inside was mushy. The coffee was not good. They werent busy, but the few parking spaces were taken, so we had to park down the street. They only had one other flavor of cream cheese other than just plain! This was a very disappointing experience.
The bagel drought in Lynchburg is over! As a New Yorker, not going to lie, I’m pretty particular about my bagels. But Bacon St. is the best one I’ve had in the ‘burg since moving down here. The sandwiches have great portions and the customer service is top-notch. You will not be disappointed.

Best bagel Ive had south of New Jersey! My family could not stop raving about how delicious they were. Super fluffy and just absolutely amazing. Would have loved to try the pumpernickel, but Ill just have to keep going back.
The bagels are very fresh, soft and delicious. I do have a few suggestions. 1. Donate left over bagels to the free meals on Clay street from time to time. 2. Contact CVCCs culinary department and allow a student to intern with Jordan to become a Baker. 3. Look into the possibility of having a trailer in order to attend some of the local festivals. 4. Overpriced specialty bagels that are okay, but plain bagels with cream cheese that are great. If youre looking for the best bagels in the area... unfortunately this isnt it. While good, Blue Ridge Bagels is still on top (but Bacon St. Bagels certainly doesnt disappoint). Overpriced? Yep. Best around? No, but close.

Good bagels sandwiches, although I would like to see a variety of more bagels in it. It seems like all of them are the same base with different topics, whereas other places make the dough different from scratch, thus creating a very different taste in the bagel.
The Bacon St. Classic was on of the best breakfast sandwiches Ive ever had! Will definitely go back. The chive cream cheese was also outstanding.

This place had so much hype built around it from the beginning that we were expecting over the top bagels and coffee...might have hit them on a bad day but the experience was nothing like it had been described, the bagels were chewy and a somewhat strange consistency and the ham, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel was too salty to finish. The drip coffee was bitter and burnt tasting. Had to park all the way up the street since the line cut through the only spaces available and the prices were not worth what was delivered.
Delicious bagels and great service! The line moved quickly, and my bagels were warm & fresh. The shop itself is charming, too. Definitely the best bagel I’ve had in Lynchburg. 10/10
Excellent bagels. I really liked the Lenora, with the fresh mozzarella, basil pesto, and garlic bagel. I also really liked the sea salt bagel.

I went there today and purchased bagels for grandchildren and self. Waited in line 35 minutes minutes . When got home there were two bagels as ordered and my sandwich a blt avocado was missing. Unable to call them as no phone number. Sad that I was unable to determine if good or not.

If I were just rating the everything bagel I got it would be 3.5-4 stars. It was above average, but not the best Ive had. However, the fact that at 9am when they still had plenty of bagels left, they had only 2 cream cheese options (Blueberry and Plain) has me baffled. Huge no-no, especially with how quick and easy it is to make. Very disappointed to go to a specialty bagel shop and settle for plain cream cheese when others Ive been to have 10+ options at all times.

Pretty disappointing experience. I got two bagels, one with mozzarella & pesto that was clammy & had airline food consistency. The other was essentially a toasted bagel with Nutella. Coffee was OK. High prices & nothing I couldnt have put together myself after a quick trip to Walmart. Parking was difficult, the line cut through the few spaces that they had. Feels like a bit of a cash grab from the Rookies people. Most of the hype seems to be from Liberty students that havent tried the local places.
Completely hooked. Don’t know how the Nickerson’s come up with these genius ideas, but boy am I glad they do!!!! I’ve had many New York bagels in my lifetime, and these are at the top!!10/10. Keep doing your thang and making Lynchburg even better!!!!

The new and only bagel place in Lynchburg City is cute and delicious. The prices are fair, coffee and bacon sandwich for $6. Parking is limited but there is street parking on Rivermont.
Ive gone once a week since they opened. everytime i take a bite, it is like usher having a concert on my taste buds. after one bite i feel as if i can fight the slovakian army with only tennis shoes. the staff is super nice and makes me feel as if im with alex trebek. the prices are also great. i walk in with drip money and i spend it well. if you got no cheddar whatsoever, you can still get bagels, cause it is inexpensive. go here.
The bagels are delicious. Bodos in Charlottesville holds a special place in my heart, Bacon St. Has definitely filled that hole now that I live here in Lynchburg. Cant wait to see Bacon St. Grow!
