I went there in January to have my tires rotated and front end aligned which I do yearly. Immediately afterwards I noticed a scraping type sound coming from the front.I figured it was something else and had it looked at by another garage and also had it inspected. I thought maybe it was the brakes or a possible wheel bearing. I called Phillips and told them what was going on and scheduled an appointment for them to recheck my car for me. They drove my car and heard noise also. Pulled it into garage and after looking said it was nothing to worry about that I was hearing road noise from the tires. I asked if he could check alignment again and I was told I didnt have an alignment problem. Not happy I decided to stop by NTB or Merchants Tire as it is known now. The man took my information and went outside and immediately came back in and told me that they had rotated my tires front to back. My car has bigger tires on the back and smaller on the front. Ive always gotten them rotated right to left. I called phillips and informed them of this. They took no responsibility at all. Told me it was my fault and that they did what they were asked. My question is should I have to tell them this. I thought they were the professionals. I ended paying Merchants to put tires back on my car properly and for another realignment job. They wouldnt refund my money. Did offer to realign car but it would not be today I was told. Well I am single, have no relatives nearby, and getting time off is not that easy. Never was I told what can I do for you. It was all about them and what was more suitable for them. They where not willing to work me back in that day to correct the problem. It was up to me to get car there, and take another day off of work. They could have offered to a least pick car up another day or give me a shuttle to work. Why should I miss work to accommodate them. Their customer service skills are poor. Never will get my busy again. Highly disappointed. ...
