This is such a good store for household and hardware items. They have almost everything you may need at a decent price. The staff is also very helpful. I like the gift shop (boutique) they also have, it has nice holiday items and jewelry.

Ace hardware has everything you may need and more.. it was fun walking around the store and checking all they had.. the people that work there are friendly and are there to help if you need them..... Then they have the most adorable shop there ELLO Boutique .that has the cutest thing for all occasions and something for everyone... Very friendly, nice atmosphere.. stop in youll be glad you did. I like this place. It has a bit of a mom and pop feel to it even though it is a chain. Much smaller than a retail giant like Lowes, yet they seem to have everything I need when I stop in. Not only have I found it easy to find the items that I need, but the staff is also quite friendly and helpful. I honestly sometimes forget the store is here and drive right past it while going about my other errands. Hoping writing a review will help remind me to stop in pay homage to this quality establishment.

I love going into the store. Its like stepping back in time. The staff are such cool people. They are actually there to help you and are glad to do it. I went into Home Depot (mustve been lost) because it was nearby and could not get the help I needed. Im a pretty handy person but I didnt know what to do with a plumbing situation. After waiting forever for help I left and went to my guys at Ace. They were, of course, awesome and looked at the pictures I took of my project on my phone and went rummaging through the shelves and bins to find me the right pieces. This is typical of this Ace store. Heck, they even have a popcorn machine by the door so you walk out with home improvement supplies AND a snack. How can you beat that?

Im happy Ace is in this plaza. Its for those trips where youd rather have a colonoscopy than to go walk for miles at Lowes or the Depot. They have a decent amount of items too.

I typically dont write reviews but the Lutz ACE is the best. As soon I walked through the door I was greeted and helped by an associate. I had to get a oversized custom window screen. I provided my my measurements and the screen was ready for pick up in 2 days at a great price. If you want A+ service and a business that values your time, this is the place.

Ace is great. They dont have everything like a big box store but for every day basics like hardware and tools or gardening supplies, Ace has what you need and at reasonable prices. Customer service is always great, although you might have to wait a few minutes for help if its busy. I do lot of DIY projects and need odd size fastener type hardware and here I can find exactly what I need for the job, and without the hassle of Lowes or Home Depot.

Very rude. Our sprinkler system piping broke and was leaking. I knew we wouldnt get there till 7 right when they closed so I called and requested help and to let them know we wouldnt get there till exactly at 7 and if they could give us a couple minutes after. The owner said, were locking the doors at 7:00 youll have to wait till tomorrow. Thanks for no help. Ace is not the place with the friendly faced hardware folks. But Lowes had everything that we needed and the guy was really helpful and knew exactly the piece that we needed to fix our problem tonight so we would not have any leaking issues.

I was there last year and it was a dark and depressing cave, dirty and the employees ignored me. Today, it was hopping, clean & bright, and the employees were on it. I was greeted by two employees. One even gave all of the details of the product I was shopping for. We had a very good experience in there today. Great turn around!

Ace Hardware is my go to hardware store. The staff at this and every Ace Hardware store I have ever visited have been knowledgeable and helpful. The big box stores just cannot compare to this level of service. Additionally Ace Hardware always seems to have those critical items that the big box stores dont carry.

BEWARE...They sell junk and will not stand behind the product. I tried to make a return on a product with. Two year warranty. It broke after 3 months. Thankfully the manufacturer did stand behind the product and shipped me a replacement. These type of problems start do to poor leadership and that is what the case is here. The owner has no clue about customer service. The manufacturing company said they have had problems with Lutz Ace before so will be dropping them as a retailer. Bye Lutz Ace I will not be back and the people of Lutz need better than your poor ownership skills in this area.

I like Ace mainly because they will carry a lot of interesting little stuff up there by the front register thats one of the main reasons why go to it but on other stuff theyre kind of expensive in a way but they are useful when you need certain tools and stuff but if youre looking for a little unique Penns gadgets things like that they always have something unique by the register

Ace side seemed ok with staff but the boutique side I wouldnt go back into.Cashier got snippy because my mask was on proper for her liking! When in the Ace side not one employee said a word. But thats ok will take my business else where...

Good place. I usually get my ac filters there but they seemed to be out of my size.

I went in search of a rare light bilb for a vintage boat lamp. While I didnt find the bulb I needed they did give me a suggested place where I might be able to find it. I like that when a business can suggest a alternate place when they dont have what you need.

Much better customer service the Lowes or Homedepot and the cutest gift shop inside with so many unique things.

This Ace is different from the other Ace chain stores in that it also has 2 additional stores inside it; one for pool supplies and one for gifts. The other stores have their own operating hours (for example, the gift store was closed on Sunday when I visited). The rest of it is a traditional Ace hardware store with a broad line of home improvement, maintenance, farming, feed, etc. inventory. I was looking for one specific thing that a magazine ad said Ace carries. I showed the man at the cash register the ad and he gave me immediate concise and accurate directions to the exact product location. He knows this store, for sure. I love to find gadgets and gizmos at Ace, unique, interesting items that you dont find in Lowes or Home Depot. I found such an item this trip, too. Mask/protective face coverings are currently required of everyone in the store including customers at this location to protect everyone from coronavirus. There is free off street parking.

Had the items I needed, but had to drive from New Port Richey to Lutz.

This is the second time Ace has had what I am looking for when Lowe’s didn’t have it. Friendly staff, good prices, and organized store.

We love our local Ace Hardware store! So glad they combined the pool supply company with the hardware store. It makes it very convenient. And we appreciate the knowledge Debbie has when it comes to our pool questions. They carry a good variety of regular items you find in hardware stores and its right around the corner!

Always been friendly. Nice clean organized store. Recently bought a grill there. Be sure to double check assembly as half of the burners wouldnt light. Called Char-Broil and come to find out all the gas transfer times were in backwards and one was also upside down. I let the store know and Im sure theyll address it properly.

I stopped in to browse the aisles while my daughter was in gymnastics. Im planning an elaborate construction project for Halloween and this place had almost every type of adhesive, tool and paint I need for the project. WAY easier than shopping at the big box stores. The guys running the store were super friendly and I really appreciate their willingness to help. A++ I will definitely be using this store again if I need more supplies.

Really think of my local Ace Hardware store first if I need something they offer. As the national ads emphasize, the employees are knowledgeable and very helpful. There is always staff available to answer questions. Obviously, the Ace stores cannot stock everything the big box home improvement competition offers, but my local store is fabulous. Yes the prices are higher than the big guys, but most times the convenience and knowledge is worth the difference.

While frantically trying to find an organic fungicide for my lawn, most stores only offered it online, with a week ship date. Then I found Ace in Lutz. The product was in stock! I ordered it last night and picked it up this morning. Great store with friendly, helpful employees. I love that place!

One of the wheels on my garbage can fell off because a push pin that held the wheel in place came loose. I didn’t want to buy a bag full of these push pins when I only needed one. So I passed over the warehouse kind of huge hardware store and went to Ace. As soon as I went in, a team member whose name was Robert greeted me. So I asked him where I would find what I was looking for. He dropped what he was doing and walked me to the back where the little drawers of parts were. He compared the part I brought with me and carefully found what I needed. I appreciated his friendliness and patience in helping me. While I was in the store, I was reminded that Ace had many items in stock and the prices were compatible with the larger hardware stores. I think I would be visiting Ace a lot more often from now on.

I LOVE this store and their personnel. The people there always know the best way to do things and so courteous. There is an ACE store closer to me, but the personnel at the Lutz store have the best attitude and customer care.

Great local hardware store. They have a very good selection of fittings, orings, faucet washers, nuts, and bolts for that one last thing you need to finish fixing something. Nice that you can usually buy those by the piece instead of having to own an entire box or bag.

Its an Ace Hardware, so its definitely going to be pricey as usual, but that cost comes with great perks. A few examples of those advantages would be how they have all kinds of odd things in stock, rare pipe fittings and hard to find Hardware in general, they seem to always have it. The store is way over staffed with super friendly and helpful staff (which is great for paying customers and not so great for worthless p.o.s. thieves). Easy access...quick service... fast to get in and out of. Convenient. Clean, well-lit store with good morals...like NOT competing with other local specialty shops. Home Depot could/should stand to learn quite a bit about the hardware business from these guys. 2 thumbs up with 5 stars from me.

Ace Hardware is a great resource for those odds and ends that are a must for every project. But besides the hardware Lutz Ace has a boutique with gifts and such. Nice touch for a shop in Lutz. Well worth a visit.
