Stopped by for the first time today. We actually stumbled by after we stopped at a different shop.My wife and I ordered 3 cupcakes-pineapple right side up, vanilla, and chocolate. I ate the vanilla cupcake. It was really good. The cake was super soft and and the cream was really tasty and not overpoweringly sweet. My wife absolutely loved the pineapple right side up cupcake. So much so, she was thinking about I later in the day.Only downside in my opinion is that the cupcake was small. I think the cupcake could have more cake and less cream.Will definitely be back.

You will never go wrong with Sugardarlings! We have household favorites so only 3 kinds were purchased. 36 of them. 12 chocolate chocolate, 12 cannoli, and 12 birthday cake. We have been going to them for 10 years for bdays and mothers day and we have gone to all locations. Used to live next to Old 54 one but now Carrolwood is more convenient for us. Although this purchase was done at Land O Lakes/Lutz one closer to home.

Ive been going here since the 1st store in NPR. The cupcakes are always delicious and so moist. Always, so many different flavors to choose from and have never had one that I didnt like. They are the perfect size and price. The staff is always so helpful and friendly. If you havent been before you need to go!

I stumbled across this quaint cupcake shop the day before Valentines Day. Their stock was limited, but I realized a lot of customers were snagging cupcakes for the holiday. They do not sell sugar-free cupcakes, but do have gluten-free options. I selected a birthday cake cupcake and my fiance chose a cookie monster cupcake. The cupcakes seemed small to me, but I guess Ive been spoiled by Sweet! By Holly in Orlando. Our total was less than $4. This cupcake shop has a $4 minimum for credit card charges. Neither my fiance nor I had any cash, but the cashier said we were eligible for a random act of kindness, and she did not charge us for the cupcakes. It was refreshing to witness a selfless act. The bakery employee was even kind enough to plate our cupcakes. Its a small, cute shop. Im not sure if they serve anything besides cupcakes, but the baked goods were moist, flavorful, and perfectly sweet, so I will definitely go back for more.

I wandered in by accident (I thought they had ice cream) but that was one of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. It was soft, moist and the frosting was light enough not to overwhelm the cake part but still provided just the right amount of sweetness and flavor. It wasn’t super heavy like most deserts.The lady was super kind and friendly. The next party I host- I’m ordering from here!

These cupcakes are amazing. The red velvet is my favorite. The shop leaves a lot to be desired aesthically though. I would say get your cupcakes earlier in the day before 4pm because they run out of flavors quickly. Definitely recommend though.

First time there and they hit it out of the park. Purchased 4 gluten free cupcakes and the 2 eaten thus far were delish! The topping isnt like the typical super sweet icing, but rather more like a light creamy mousse. This will be my new go to spot when I get a sweet craving. Also, the customer service gets an A+ and love the Covid safety measures they have in place.

Absolutely the best cupcakes you will ever have! Bought many flavors for a wedding and not one disappointed. They are so moist and full of flavor!! Super fresh not to mention beautifully decorated. Can not say enough wonderful things about them!. Must try!!!

This place is a hidden gem!! We needed some last-minute treats for our baby shower and they were able to fulfill our order with no problems! The young lady that took our order (I believe her name is Izzy) was absolutely wonderful to work with and so pleasant. The cupcakes are DELICIOUS!!! Moist and flavorful and not super sweet. They were a HIT with our baby shower guests and received rave reviews from everyone. The only bad thing about Sugar Darlings is that they are way too close to our home and we will be tempted to indulge way too often lol

We stopped at the Bakery for the first time. Waited outside for our turn. When we got inside we were overwhelmed with all the beautiful cupcakes. We bought chocolate raspberry. There was raspberry in the center! Also bought white raspberry and chocolate chocolate. They were also the best we have ever eaten.

I chanced upon their location on Old 54 in Trinity when trying a new Hair Salon (Chelsea Loves Salon...also a nice HC by Maria). I said to myself let me stop in after. Almost forgot and turned my car around. So glad I did.People mention the smaller cupcake, but honestly that was a GREAT thing. Many cupcakes are too big and you can get sugar overload. These are perfect. And though they are small they are so moist and delicious. Sometimes smaller cakes can be dry not these. And you can eat 2 and not feel bad lol.I got 3 of the non-filled ones which are actually my preference; I want to taste my cupcake. Got a wedding, cannoli, and choc peanut butter cupcakw. So delish. I think the choc peanut butter with that fluffy frosting was my favorite, but they were all so tasty and just the right amount of sweetness and size.

I tried several different cupcakes. Service was friendly; cupcakes were okay. Nothing wrong with them and good variety, but to get above 3 stars, the cupcakes would have have to be exceptional (that means from scratch wedding cake quality and better than Whole Foods bakery). Similar taste to box mix or grocery store cake. Frosting was a little better.

Perfect size to share and sample a few flavors at a time.I have a friend that calls bi-weekly to place her order.They are served chilled, which is nice, but we prefer ours room temp.Great variety of flavors. This is our go-to for any birthday in our family.Cant say enough good things!!Definitely get there early, they sell out usually by the end of each day.Yum!!!

Every time Ive had them, they are moist and delicious with distinct flavors that reward your tastebuds for daring to try something different. Sugardarlings are not the cupcakes you buy at the chain store bakery. Sugardarlings are heavenly.

My family love the different flavors and they are soft and moist. I have given the cupcakes as gifts to my friends and they loved them and wanted know locations of the stores. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. The prices are very reasonable. The best cupcake store.

The cupcakes are out of this world! I got them for my gender reveal. Hours were posted wrong on google, so I drove all the way there on a day theyre closed for some birthday cupcakes (Sundays and Mondays) Ill probably still drive there tomorrow bc theyre worth it!

While most of us in this area know that Sugardarlings cupcakes are 5 ⭐️ s, I want to give a 5 ⭐️ shoutout to the employer working Saturday at the Lutz location. I came flying in at 5:54pm, 6 mins before they closed, when many people would already be “checked out”, he was welcoming, helpful, and absolutely fantastic! I never once felt like he was rushing me in any way. Great job as always Sugardarlings!

Never in my life have I experienced such incredible, moist cupcakes! We make this place part of my family tradition for a fun day out, a long week at work, and every family event. If you havent tried these yet, you absolutely should!

The cupcakes are the perfect consistency, not too dense not too fluffy. I say the same for the icing. I typically hate frosting because its usually too sweet for me; however, theirs is absolutely phenomenal, and they dont put too much on either which was beautiful. Im coming here from now on for cupcakes. I found them on a whim. Make sure to look closely, the shop is hidden away on 54.

We are having a birthday party for my daughter and one of her friends is gluten free. We try so hard to a accommodate her and make sure she doesn’t feel left out of anything, but finding a gluten free cake is darn impossible. Especially one that tastes good. Recently I was told to go gluten free as well to help a medical issue and had given up hope of ever eating cake again. Then one day I was passing the shop, stopped, turned around and went in. I explained my needs and she told me they had gluten free, skeptically I tried one and OMG the chocolate, fudge, deliciousness was perfect! I wanted to cry! They are amazing! I’m so happy I stopped in!

My family LOVES Sugardarlings!! The cupcakes are delicious -- the flavors are great -- the staff is so friendly -- the cupcakes are always awesome -- we havent tried one we didnt love! Our favorites -- Molten Lava, Cookie Monster, Mint Cookie and Apple Cobbler.

My school bought some cupcakes recently and they were amazing! I had the cannoli cupcake and one I think might have been called the sweet one or something like that. They were both so moist and the frosting was perfect. The cannoli cupcake tasted just like a cannoli but wasnt too sweet or too dense. The other cupcake was chocolate with a chocolate filling and what I think was marshmallow fluff topping, dipped in chocolate with sprinkles. SO GOOD. I will definitely be making a trip to share with my family soon. :)

What a miserable experience. It was my birthday and we drove past a sign that said Ice Cream and Cupcakes! We thought Yay!!! Lets to this! When we got inside, the cupcake flavors were fewer than I had expected but the ones available were creative and looked yummy. There was a sign advertising a price for a cupcake and some ice cream so thats what we each decided to get.We were greeted quickly by a clearly irritated young woman who had no time to answer any questions or even make eye contact and say hello. She asked us what we wanted and was hurried and short with her words. As we decided on flavors she was very obviously in no mood for this nonsense of serving customers as whatever was happening on her laptop was FAR more pressing and interesting. Soon enough she resentfully plopped some ice cream into my cup and stuck a cupcake in there. My friends asked that she just hand them their cupcake as they didnt want it on top of their ice cream. She snapped Well, Ill have to charge you extra for that! My friends were not expecting such a reply and asked her if she were kidding. You charge extra to place the cupcake in my hand or on a napkin instead of on top of the ice cream? Joking right? Nope, she was serious, and with no apology, courtesy or even looking up she stood there scowling. I had walked outside to take a call right before that happened or I may have beaned her in the forehead with the cupcake and walked out, but I didnt hear about that part until I returned and sat down at the sticky table that was available. The girl at this point was back to her online chat presumably about how much she hates her job and all cupcake eating human beings.So, the cupcake was good, not the best Id ever had, but good. The ice cream was ok too. Maybe these things would have tasted better without the sour stench of bitter teenager overpowering the room.
