Normally I do not write negative reviews, especially about small businesses, but I feel the need to say this so that other potential customers know what they are getting into and so that maybe, just maybe, the staff of Simple Floors will change the way they do business. I used Simple Floors a couple of years ago while building a house. They were friendly and professional. Their installation was great too. However once their job was done and they got their money, they became TERRIBLE! Within the time of warranty I started noticing that the LVP flooring they had installed was chipping off in the kitchen. My son even got a splinter from it. I called them and spoke to Sheena who said she would arrange for it to be taken care of. I emailed her, spoke to the manager, called, left voicemails, and MONTHS later they got it done. Now I am actually a very patient person, but during this time they did not call me back, they did not email me, they did not acknowledge that I was still waiting. Finally it got done and I was happy. Now the same thing is happening again in a low traffic area of the house. I called and spoke to someone new who assured me that she would get back to me in a couple days. That was 1 month ago. I called last week and spoke to someone else who told me that he would have the owner of the business call me in 2 days. That was 2 weeks ago. Still waiting to be contacted, and still waiting for the floor to be fixed. Save yourself the trouble and go ANYWHERE else.
I went in to buy T- Molding for my newly installed floors.Sheena and the owner were extremely kind & helpful. They did not have the exact color that I was looking for and went the extra mile to look in their storage to help find something comparable. I was very pleased.Excellent Customer service. I would shop here again.
Simple Floors did amazing job installing new floors in 4 rooms of my house. The quality of the floors, professionalism of the installers and the excellent customer service provided by Sandi Bee exceeded my expectations. Sandi went above and beyond in providing guidance on the recommended floors and running point on the entire project. I highly recommend Simple Floors! Ask for Sandi and she will treat you as a priority, versus a number like you are at Home Depot or Lowes.
I have used SimpleFLOORS for two different flooring projects and both times they did an excellent job. The customer service is off the charts - quick responses, the team is there when they say they will be there, if they are late... they tell you they will be late. Its the simple things that you dont always get from contractors. I was replacing all the flooring in my home with two young kids and I was very nervous about the mess. Benjamins team cleaned up every single day and did a wonderful job minimizing the disruption in our home. I have referred them to friends and they have all been very pleased with the service and the quality of the flooring. I am now in a new home that came with builders flooring and it doesnt even compare to the quality of the floors I had from SimpleFLOORS. Highly recommend this company.
I just had laminate White Dove flooring installed in our bedroom by Simple Floors. It compliments our darker furniture and is clean and easy to maintain. Thank you for the patience in selecting the perfect floor for our home and thank you for the expert installation. I recommend Simple Floors and encourage you to get rid of those carpets and go for the flooring. Efficiency, installation and help in selecting were the best.

Very helpful staff and a great selection
I recently closed on my new home. After much exhaustion browsing from store to store I found SimpleFloors. The sales people were very knowledgeable on their products. I had to reschedule my install the day before and they were very accommodating with the new schedule. My new floors are beautiful. I would recommend SimpleFloors to everyone. Their floors are a very good product and they dont match my neighbors that came from Home Depot.
Worst experience ever! Wouldnt recommend this store at all. I bought some wooden floors and explained 5 times that I wanted flush stair nose and not overlap. They still got the order wrong and wanted me to pay 15% restocking fee plus shipping (380.00 dollars) to send the order back when it was their fault. I was forced to used something I didn’t want even though they made the mistake. They lady said there was nothing she could do because I had already signed the contract. All they care is about making money and not satisfying the customers.
The tile I bought here was reasonably priced and beautiful. HOWEVER, thats the only good thing I have to say about this place. I want to support the small business owner but I dont know how these guys are still in business. When they loaded up my tile, it was on a pallet and a guy on a fork lift was going to put it directly into my truck. As he raised the pallet off of the ground, it kept catching on the side of the lift. Hed lift it up and youd hear CRACK as the pallet would catch and break. So, hed put it back down, then lift again... CRACK... then again... and again... he did it 4 or five times until the pallet had completely cracked in half and he decided it would be best if we loaded it by hand. He cut off the very well wrapped plastic and we went at it. I noticed that one of the tiles that was showing had glued cardboard stuck all over it. When I asked him about it, he just said oh, that will come right off then he started scratching at it with the point of his utility knife. Seeing that my tile was about to be scratched with the point of a blade, I figured I would take my chances and I told him that I would just clean it up when I got home. My tile guy was already at my house laying tile, and I didnt want to risk rejecting the whole box of tile and not having enough (I would have had to order more and wait for the shipment and pay another freight charge)... so I took it home. When I got home I noticed that the same box had a chip in one of the tiles.When I bought the tile, they were very upfront about making sure that I only ordered what I needed because they charge a 25% restocking fee. Thats why I decided to hang on to this defective box until the end. I couldnt afford to wait another three weeks for my tile guy to be available again to finish my floors if I ran out of tile. I figured this box is defective, they will take this one back. Well, my floor is done and it is beautiful. So I went to return the defective box. I didnt try to return more than that, just that one. They told me that they wouldnt take it back. Period. They didnt even say ok, but it is a 25% restocking fee. Nothing. Nada. Even though one tile was chipped and the top one was covered in cardboard and glue. I never even opened the box. You could see the chip through the side where the straps that hold it together rub directly over the chip. I had left the box in the car when I came in to do the return because I was carrying a baby and couldnt carry both. They wouldnt even come out to LOOK at the defective tile.They told me that I should have inspected the tile before I left the property. FIRST OFF, they were originally trying to load superbly wrapped tile on a pallet into my truck. How is anyone supposed to check every box of tile before they leave when it is wrapped and loaded that way? SECOND, we did end up loading it by hand but its unreasonable to open every box of tile to look for defects. I pointed out the glued cardboard, then panicked when he started scratching at it with the point of a razor blade, and didnt see the chip until I got home. It was hot. I had a screaming baby in the car. Come on. This is absurd.They agreed to call the vender to see if they would take the tile back but they would have to call me later about it. I asked them if they could please call right then because it is not an easy trip for me to go back and forth to that store. They finally agreed. When they called the vender I heard them say on the phone Im calling to know what your return policy is. THEY DIDNT EVEN KNOW THE RETURN POLICY but here they were simply telling me Nope. No way. Cant take it. The rep wasnt in the office so there was no resolve. They are are SUPPOSED to call me back, but I havent heard from them yet. They didnt hide the 25% restocking fee. This fee is pretty silly too, but they told me about it. So, hey. I got it. If I order too much tile you have to send it back and blah blah blah. Ok. BUT. Not accepting a DEFECTIVE product? Insane. You just cant survive in the business world that way.
Beware of Simplefloors of Tampa located in Lutz ! I bought the most expensive floor they had, 1 week after installation it started scratching, swelling, deforming very easily. I found out this is a cheap Chinese floor material instead of american one as advertised. Once I started complaining for warranty they did not want to talk. I made the mistake that I paid with cash instead of credit card, I would have protection from my bank. Besides that, they do not have actual product to sell, they order it with your money once you pay in advance and waiting for it ... Avoid this fraudulent company!
