Yesterday my wife and I went to the purchase a new mattress (upgrade from queen to king) we were taken care of way beyond our expectations! When we walked in a guy name John was helping someone else but took a second to greet us and he was right with us! I’m a first time mattress buyer and was very reluctant coming here, thinking that there would be several hidden fees and crazy monthly payments and down payments. I would say that purchasing a mattress, in my case two mattresses, is rarely a good experience. In this case though, the store manager, Mr. John Palermo, made the experience a good one. I got a competitive deal and he was able to arrange the delivery time I wanted. Mr. Palermo was Able to clearly explain the pros and cons of the adjustable beds and help me choose the one that would best fits my needs.

I did my own research online and Narrowed my search to two mattresses. I wanted to visit the store to touch and feel my choices. John was super helpful and listened to my concerns. After looking at the two models, I was shown another option that I had not considered. A hybrid mattress that was in My budget and a better fit for my needs. DO NOT go here and use the Progressive lease option.They will be dishonest on how it works.The salesman stated that it would be about $40 dollars a month but it turned out being $40 dollars BIWEEKLY!!.A $400 dollar mattresses turns out to be $1000 if you pay it off in a year!If you choose the 3 month option it is better but they get you with the initial payment which doesnt even make a dent in your principal because they apply it to the principal if you were going to pay in a year.So they applied the initial payment to $1000!! Im a hardworking family man and social worker and I just cant afford to be scammed like this! Go somewhere else!!

I cannot emphasize enough how easy and enjoyable our experience was with this location of Mattress Firm. From the moment my husband and I walked in the door, Gene continually exceeded our expectations. While we were trying out mattresses, he supplied ample, honest information and was respectful of allowing us to discuss things in private. There was low pressure and it was stress free. When we decided on our king size temperapedic mattresss, he helped us get the best deal possible. That included many extras, our favorite being our cooling memory foam pillows. We were so impressed that we ended up purchasing a bed frame from them as well. As an aside, the quality of the bed rivals many of the luxury furniture stores in the area at a far more reasonable price. Plus, its made in America. When it came time for delivery, the team arrived at the top of the delivery window and called to give us 45 minutes notice before they arrived. They were courtesy and efficient. Like I said before, I could not be more pleased with our experience and I highly recommend this location to anyone in the market for a new bed. Gene is phenomenal sales manager and interpersonal communicator!

Greatest customer service we ever had. Britton and Jim are the best!!!! My husband and I got a mattress at this location. We shopped at the Mattress Firm of New Tampa. The person had zero personality and zero customer service. His name was Les. The next Mattress Firm (The Shoppes at New Tampa). We didnt get a name. We came in and the associate was working with a customer. We were nexts and another lady walked in. The associate ran over to her and just forgot about us. I will tell all my friends to go to the Mattress Firm Lutz. Britton and Jim asked us if we needed water or anything. They made us feel WELCOME. I hope the company will have Mr. Les go to customer service class!!!! We have many Mattress companys in the Tampa area!!!!
