While Conifer is a bit of a drive from Denver just to get a front windshield replaced, I would highly recommend Cornerstone Auto Glass in Conifer, CO to anyone with an RV that needs windshield replacement! After being told by a nationally franchised auto glass company that once they remove the old broken windshield on my little Toyota Winnebago, if they find any rust I’d have to have her towed to a body shop to get the rust repaired then have it towed back to get the new windshield installed. I had no idea how much rust was under there if any at all, but that was a risk I was not willing to take! At that point I started contacting body shops in Denver that also did windshield replacements. I found a few, but all of them said they don’t work on motor homes. After explaining to them and showing them directly that the windshield is part of the Toyota truck, not the coach, they still refused to even give me an estimate. I was finally referred to Cornerstone and my insurance contacted the company for confirmation and within a couple hours Cornerstone called me to set up the appointment. I was greeted immediately as I was pulling into their parking lot and within the next 20 minutes I was given an update about a small amount of rust found in the frame. They said they could fix that and seal it, but the seal would have to dry for 6-7 hours. I got a ride home and came back the next morning and promptly at 8:00 the employees ( including sweet Molly, the shop dog) had all arrived and my windshield was now being installed. It took less than an hour to get the job finished up and I was on my way…a happy camper once again!!

It was so easy to schedule with Kira and she was super helpful! A couple of guys came (wish I could remember their names) to replace two windshields. They were fast, professional, and did an awesome job. Even corrected something that was done wrong by a different business. I highly recommend them!! I will definitely be in touch should we need our windshields replaced again.

I had a hard-to-find windshield replaced here. After the installation, I noticed some distortion in my line of sight. They ordered another piece of glass and replaced it free of charge. Everyone was easy to work with through the entire experience.

This place and its crew are simply amazing. My wife got a huge quarter-sized dent in her windshield today and immediately took it into Cornerstone. She has a newer VW with auto glass that cost an arm and a leg to replace. We were fearing the worst with the size of the dent, but the crew at Cornerstone was able to repair it and they dont think that it will spread. They told my wife that the repair was not as clean as they would have preferred, and they refused to accept payment from her.Everyone we know (including our auto insurance agents) recommended Cornerstone above all other places. Its now easy to see why! Hopefully, we wont have to visit them again soon (in the best possible sense), but we know that we will be in great hands when we have any auto glass needs in the future.

They shared with me that the last company had not done what was needed, to prevent rusting, so they had to do extra to make it right and prevent the windshield outer surface, from worsening. Great family run business with amazing customer service. Kira is a friendly, efficient, multitasking rockstar. I watched her handle many customers at the same time as she made everyone feel important. Even though they couldn’t replace my custom van window (because it was a special order piece and I had to leave town before it came in) they gave me a couple different options and cleaned up the glass and sealed it up securely free of charge. I have been meaning to write this for a couple of months. Although my insurance deductible did not cover my windshield replacements (I have it set high), I wanted to say that Cornerstone Glass has done a great job each of the three times I have gone there since 2015. I have had two windshields replaced by their techs and also had them grind/polish out the headlight lenses on my 16-year old Accord. What a huge difference that made in night driving! I felt their costs were reasonable compared to other places I priced out. I would definitely recommend them for windshield replacement and headlight fogginess correction. Great work! These guys are the best! The dealership and local auto shops told me it was going to cost me $500 to get my window that would not roll up (only down), repaired, without even really knowing what the problem was. The crew here checked it out for me, told me what they thought it was and said they could fix it for half the price of anyone else. Then, when they went to work on it, immediately realized it was the electric button motor instead, which is a much more expensive problem. They explained the options to me, and together we decided to just roll the window up, disconnect the button, and let me get it repaired at a later date. So they solved my problem (a stuck down window which was a real bummer in this late spring snow and rain), and it cost me....ZERO! Highly recommend, dont bother going anywhere else! :)
