Mike kline was very helpful and took time to help us with washer, Dryer and refrigerator.Also we were able to exchange the refrigerator as the size did not fit my kitchen. I ended paying extra but he was very helpful throughout the process

Outstanding Service!We needed a new refrigerator, so we started looking around at the Box stores and online.After creating a list, we had several models that we were interested in. We went to the Box store and while they had every model on the floor, they did not have any of them in-stock even though the website showed that they were in-stock! We then went to Famous Tate and all the floor models clearly showed if they were in-stock or if they were in backorder.We worked with our Sales Associate Mike Kline and we were able to pick a model that was on our list.The amazing thing was that the price on the model we picked was cheaper than the box stores.At no time did we feel any high pressure to buy or upgrade to a different model.We talked about the warranty and decided to purchase an extended protection plan.The delivery team was on-time and quickly removed the old refrigerator and installed new one.As part of the setup, they validated that the refrigerator was level and in good working order.Also, I must mention that the delivery tracking tool is a nice feature. We have dogs and we were able to track the delivery truck and get the dogs put up just before they arrived.This is the second appliance that we have purchased from this location and both time we have been happy with the experience. Great Job and highly recommend that you stop here first before going to the Big Box stores!

After 10 weeks I finally received my BEST hood vent for my kitchen, which initially I was not informed it came in. I then proceeded to ask if I could have the product installed which I was told would not be a issue. The first recommended company came out and installed the product at the wrong height which caused the flue assembly to not fit. I then had to pay full price for this installation. I contacted Famous Tate and they stated all they could do was send out a secondary company. I then had to pay another “consultation” fee for the secondary company to come out. They stated they could fix the issue but I would be charged for the issue. When this is all said and done I will be charged two installation fees along with a consultation fee. My vent has still not been completed and it’s been over a week. I would not recommend Famous Tate installing any of your products after purchase…6/29/21After talking to Kevin nothing was resolved. He stated the original company was going to contact me and fix the issue which never happened. I resolved the issue my self by having to drop my hood range by 5 inches in order to make it work. I still stand by my original statement that I will not recommend Famous Tate installing your appliances. I was very disappointed to say the least.

I worked with Bryan from start to finish with purchasing a new refrigerator. His knowledge and professionalism made the entire process stress free. Never purchasing an appliance before, I never felt like I was in the unknown. He always ensured I was up to date with any information and even when Samsung supply ran out and pushed delivery to the new year, we were able to find a better alternative quickly and make my move in date deadline. We recently received our refrigerator. There was a long wait, but not the fault of Famous Tate. We originally placed our order in September 2020 and I guess my only complaint was I was told we would have it in a few weeks and it took months. Also they were not very good at keeping me updated on the progress of the order early on, this improved later on.Their delivery guys were excellent.I would buy from Famous Tate again.

Tony is freakin awesome!! I send everyone to him. I live in Riverview but drive to LUTZ to see him. I purchased my mattress, kitchen appliances and most recently my washer& dryer.

Had a great experience, had been shopping around a few places for a stove, as well as a matress for a camper. Came in to the store and was immediately helped by Jaime, within 20 minutes we had picked out a stove we were quite happy with and matress and were able to finish checking out. Good prices and service!

We thought we received good customer service when we purchased our GE Café microwave oven. 11 months after we purchased it, the microwave stopped working and we got a Error Sensor message on the control panel. We reached out to Famous Tate for assistance. The rep I chatted with told me that there was nothing they could do because GE is the only brand they sell that requires their own technicians to repair their equipment. This was never explained to us when we purchased the microwave. I asked the rep if there was anything he could do before I posted my concerns on Google Reviews. He said that he would have someone contact me to see if they could expedite the process. It has been over 2 weeks since I spoke with the rep and we have not heard from anyone at Famous Tate. It has now been over a month since our microwave has been broken and we have been told by GE that it will be another 10 days before they can have a tech out to repair the microwave, even though we received the replacement parts over a week ago. I think that Famous Tate is a fine store, but the lack of promised assistance has soured us on purchasing anything else from them. That and the fact they neglected to tell us about GEs repair policy.Update 1/6:Customer Care provided us with the same repair date that we scheduled by ourselves a few weeks ago. I asked for support from Customer Care when our microwave first stopped working, but they only contacted me after I posted a negative review. I dont consider that customer care as much as I consider it an attempt to preserve the companys reputation.

The best customer care anywhere. We were helped by Morris Murray, what a blessing. He educated us on every appliance we chose and spent an incredible amount of time doing it. We truly felt good about our purchase and were convinced our experience would keep us as customers for life. Every aspect from choice, purchase and delivery was transparent. This purchase was for an anticipated home purchase, and then a few days later......Closing on property was now in limbo, so many emotions, what if we did all this and no home? Enter Tony Martinez manager as the amazing Mr. Murray was with another customer upon our return to the store. Mr. Martinez understood our angst and dilemma. He allowed and explained more then one option moving forward his kindness regarding our situation was so appreciated.We placed our appliances on hold and fingers crossed will be able to schedule a delivery soon. This store in Lutz works hard for you and your business, something that is rare nowadays. We will continue to patronize this Famous Tate location as both times we left feeling like we were very appreciated customers. Do yourself a favor, leave the big box stores for your appliances. Famous Tate is Great. Much prefer to support a local, family business, vs a giant box store. Their associates are knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire buying process, delivery, etc. We continue to return and recommend them to friends and family any chance we get.

We ordered a Bosch dishwasher for our re-modelled kitchen. The kitchen project took longer than expected, but Famous Tate was quite willing to hold our appliance until required. They delivered on schedule and took our old appliance. They were a pleasure to work with.

We have been shopping at the Lutz store for 3 years. We purchased a full kitchen package of GE Profile appliances for a new build home, a Hotpoint garage refrigerator, new mattresses and adjustable bed frame and most recently (last week) a GE washer and dryer.The staff in this location is great. We utilize Mark Thurman who is always pleasant and knowledgeable. He has been a wonderful resource for appliance information and has a great sense of humor.Have never had an issue with delivery. The staff is friendly and careful and make the delivery process easy. I especially like the 2 hour delivery window which is unusual these days.Keep up the good work

Awful! Terrible communication and service.Ordered a dishwasher on line. Guy called and said it would be 3 weeks. Got busy with holidays and forgot. Called after 5 weeks and was told the factory is backed up and it would be at least another 90 days?!?!?!!? was anyone going to let me know?? the MINIMUM would have been a call or email. especially since you had already charged by credit card.I was able to purchase the same model through a different dealer and installation is scheduled for next week.

I called multiple times to ask to have an apt set up for my washing machine, still not set up. Have been trying to get this done since Christmas. Also having nothing but issues with other appliances (dish washer and microwave Cafe collection). Sent manager email and left many msg on how to get a refund, no response. I understand when you buy something new sometimes things just do not work but I have had these appliances since November and cant use them. I would not buy Cafe Collection or from famous tate.

We needed to replace our stove and Hood, and had looked at Home Depot. We were told we couldnt get the stove we wanted until July (this was Feb 2). So we went to Famous Tate in Lutz. Tony Martinez was an excellent salesman. He was knowledgeable, courteous and took the time to show us what they had in inventory. We found what we wanted, and the updated version of the one we saw at HD now includes an air fryer. We bought the stove and a hood. The stove was delivered in a couple of days. The hood was on back order, but then we were told it is out of production. So we bought the mounted store display, at a discount. The installation company picked it up at the store and installed it today. I cant say enough about Tony. The server went down the week we were trying to arrange the purchase of the hood displayed in the store. They couldnt make sales until the new server was installed days later. Tony came in on his day off to handle my sale, and those of other customers. He clearly cares about his customers, and his customer service is excellent. He was patient and gave us a lot of good tips on maintaining the stove top and ovens. We ended up with a GE double oven/air fryer range and a Faber range hood. Dont waste your time at the big box stores. We highly recommend Famous Tate in Lutz, and Tony Martinez. You wont be disappointed.

So far this year we purchased a washer and dryer, refrigerator, microwave, stove and dishwasher from Famous Tate. Each time we were sure to ask for Tony (not Anthony) he is great to work with very people friendly and gave us the absolute best deal on all these appliances. Generally, the store is totally in on the social distancing requirements. I even noticed employees wiping down various services. If you are looking for quality customer service and quality appliances, ask for Tony.

I was referred to Bryan who helped me so efficiently and matched me up with what I needed in a matter of minutes, including a price match. The sales person is great. My mother has had a problem with her new dishwasher and sales person did all she could do. My mother wanted to talk to mgr and he never bothered to call her back. Went into the store and he never bothered to talk to her. Just had the sales person set up someone to go out and check dishwasher for third time.

Appliances store with a scratch and dent section for an additional discount. I purchased an oven that was not in stock but on the sales floor, and wasnt told until after It was paid for. I also purchased a dishwasher that was scratch and dent and was delivered three day after purchase because it has to go to their warehouse first and then it gets delivered. Apparently you cant just buy things and take them home same day.A week later I returned a hose that was not needed for the dishwasher and checked on the status of the oven that was purchased. The manager had to look it up and found out it was discontinued...so they said I can have the floor model if I want, like I had any other options. Now I have to wait even longer to have it delivered. If I wouldnt have gone in to check on the status who knows how long I would have waited😵. Dont bother buying from them unless you dont mind waiting a while for your purchase, but they had no problem taking my money. I dont think they even refunded me for the hose I returned and am tired of dealing with people who dont seem to know how to run a business. I will not go back ...

Ordered a dishwasher online and I ordered the wrong color. I didnt realize until delivery day. Tony made the process of getting the right dishwasher easier than I ever thought was going to be possible. He even got it delivered ahead of schedule. It was a fantastic experience.

This store is awesome! We purchased a washer and dryer earlier this year and just recently purchased kitchen appliances. The customer service is off the charts wonderful!! We did have an issue with a GE dishwasher being faulty, brand new out of the box and GE would not do anything. I did reach out to Famous Tate for some help and there were no questions asked. Great company! I have referred several people since we purchased the washer and dryer and will continue to do so.

Terrible service, never again. The refrigerator didnt get delivered the day it was scheduled. The manager acted like he was doing me a favor to have me go 3 more days without a fridge. So he said that I could pay another 120 for someone to deliver the next day. Then I received the damaged one. No concessions or apologies offered. I went back to store and picked a less expensive one. The only other people in the store then were also complaining about their orders, not surprisingly. Ive since been informed by other neighbors and friends that Tate has a history of poor service. An expensive lesson learned. May you not find out the hard way like I did.

Have been customer of Famous Tate since 1979. Have always received excellent service and prices. The Lutz store was no exception. Purchased a gas grill from them and had some minor issues with product availability which were promptly resolved by Jaime and Kevin. This is a good retailer with good people providing excellent service.

Famous Tate is, first and foremost, a business that can be trusted: to have a huge selection from which to choose, to offer the very best price, to provide free home delivery and removal of appliance (if being replaced), and to know the importance of great customer service.I first ordered appliances from Tate when they were known as Tate Electric on Armenia Avenue in Tampa. They have never given me reason to do business elsewhere.

Tessa did a great job helping me find the washing machine that was best for me. Everyone has the same prices and benefits(I went to 4 places) but the service and selection here were the best. I came in looking for a certain model but left feeling like I got a better deal and a better machine!

We ordered a new dryer, and were contacted the next day for delivery. The delivery people were on time, removed the old dryer and installed the new one, having to negotiate a twisty stairway to the second floor of our condo. They were very careful, and did not touch any walls during the transport up and down, were very professional in the installation, and made sure the dryer was functioning properly. The delivery people were friendly, courteous, and professional the whole time. We would definitely return to Famous Tate fro another similar appliance purchase.

Bought several appliances from this store over the year and no issues. Today, at the Lutz store, I was in the closing process for a high end dishwasher, the saleswoman failed to honor the exact amount of the mailing rebate listed on the item in the showroom. After checking with her manager, we were told that instead of the $75 mailing rebate, they can waive the $12 hauling fee. We left the store.

I cant in good conscience give them a good review. Based on my after purchase experience. I purchased a kitchen package and the dishwasher stopped working one week after delivery. It worked for just one cleaning cycle. I spoke to my salesman Mark who said I would have to call Whirlpool. The service tech arrived a week later. He advised me the control board was defective and needed to be replaced. But the part is on backorder with no ETA. I reached out to my salesman Mark and was advised nothing can be done. I would have to wait and couldnt get a replacement or upgrade. Theres nothing available. They couldnt help me no matter how long it takes. Thats just the way the business is. It seems this industry is no better than the RV industry. A disappointing experience!

The refrigerator for my rental property went bad. I stopped by Famous Tate and was pleasantly surprised with the pricing and quick delivery they made available. In fact they were able to deliver it the following day. My tenant was thrilled and the entire sales process with Famous Tate was flawless!

Good buying experience, but dont expect any help or loyalty if your appliance is out of warranty. We bought all of the appliances for our home from this Famous Tate including three other appliances for our rental properties. No issues other than we had a reoccurring problem with a GE dryer that kept leaving black marks on all of our clothes and sheets. We called GE and they came out and serviced the unit twice for the same problem with the second tech, guaranteeing that we wouldnt have the same problem. Well, you guessed it! We had the same problem and the final straw was when we went to pre-wash our kids clothes they got for Christmas and everything that was light colored came out with big black marks all over them. A few hundred dollars in brand new clothes, all ruined. I called the manager, Kevin, at Famous Tate and said wed be happy with just half our money back if they would take this thing back; were tired of our clothes being ruined. The most he offered was a great discount on a new machine from them. Its out of warranty so theres nothing they will do even though I called and its verified in GEs records that they came out and supposedly repaired the SAME ISSUE TWICE ALREADY. Great sales tactic. Sell a machine that ruins the customers belongings, then sell them another one when theyre fed up with the first! Oh and he did offer to have GE come repair it AGAIN. (Why would I risk ruining more of our clothes?) Obviously just a half-hearted attempt to be able to say that he did everything in his power. Im not buying it. I could understand if we hadnt had a history with them, but after having bought several appliances and this is the only issue weve had, I would hope for some shred of loyalty and an ACTUAL attempt to help.

I ordered everything online. Two refrigerators, washer, dryer, adjustable bed and mattress. I compared products and pricing to Lowe’s, Home Depot and Costco. I found Famous Tate to be very competetive and even better on some items. Shortly after placing the order, I heard from Mark R. who carefully reviewed details and was very helpful. I had other questions before the delivery and Mark responded quickly, which was much appreciated. Since we were moving to a new home, we requested that our items be delivered on a specific date. The delivery/ installation crew did a great job. Entire experience was very good. Great products and delivered on time as requested. What more can you ask for....? I went to the Lutz store. Store is nice and clean; sales staff were friendly. Setting up delivery was not a problem and their web page was able to narrow it down to a 2 hour window. The delivery men were nice and took everything away. The took away all the old appliances for a small fee of $9 per piece.

We were shopping for new kitchen appliances and after checking with five other retailers Famous Tate came in lowest. Our salesman Mark Roth took his time with us and at no time pressured us and assured us Famous Tate would match any price. True to his word, I noticed the price of the range, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave were cheaper at a competitor and Mark Roth matched those prices so we bought all four new appliances. We needed a new washing machine on short notice. the salesperson we worked with was very knowledgeable about the features of the various models and was very helpful in recommending a model that suited us better than the one we had in mind. the machine was delivered exactly when they said it would be, the delivery/installation guys were friendly and efficient. i cant identify anything that could have improved the overall experience.

We were shopping for a new mattress and we were planning on shopping various stores. Because of convenience, we shopped with Famous Tate first. The salesman, Bryan, was extremely helpful, explaining the many options. After trying many different styles and firmness, we made our decision. We shopped on a Saturday and received delivery on Monday. The staff there were very helpful and we received no pressure from anyone to buy. We will be back when we need a new appliance.

I am constantly impressed by the fantastic Bryan Miranda at Famous Tate Lutz! About a year ago, my fridge suddenly went out and after frantically throwing all our food in coolers, I searched on social media to find recommendations for a replacement fridge. Bryan offered some advice and did not try to sell me himself or his services, once. Bryan & I went back and forth with all of my questions (on what was probably a busy weekend day in the store for him) when I decided that due to his helpfulness, integrity, and expert knowledge I would be purchasing a new fridge from him that day, over any other options (I was looking at multiple websites at this point!). I recently had a terrible experience with one of the stores national competitors (lets just say it rhymes with toes) so I was very weary about this process but Bryan made me feel at ease and answered what was probably WAY too many questions from me, over the course of a few hours, as I searched online for the best fridge for my home. After hours of searching myself, I ended up going with Bryans very first recommendation to me, which I found to be the BEST fridge out there based on reviews. Since I have 3 young children in tow, I could not make it out to the store so he was kind enough to take my order over the phone and setup delivery for the NEXT DAY! I am pretty sure I cried tears of joy!!! The relief I felt after Bryans help was massive. I work in real estate and I send ALL my clients to Bryan and they all say the same thing- he is so incredibly nice and so very helpful! No dropped balls here, unlike some of the competitors. I also recently purchased a new over-the-range microwave from Bryan,, as my previous one (purchased in 2011 from HHGregg) started smelling like smoke. New store is very nice. Sales people are knowledgeable and helpful.Received our new appliances 2 weeks earlier than expected, great service, delivery when it was convenient for us and the delivery people were topnotch. The people who did the gas stove delivery were super efficient and did a great job with the hookup and checkout.

What a pleasant experience with our Salesman, Mark Roth! My husband and I needed new appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher and induction cook top) and with Marks assistance and knowledge it made the process easier than we expected. We have already recommended this store and Mark Roth to 2 of our friends in need of a mattress and appliances.

Great easy buying experience, bought an LG 5.2 foot front load washer at an unbelievable price. Plus I received a military discount. Also, delivery and haul away costs very reasonable, This was my first purchase with Famous Tate and it wont be my last.

The experience with Famous Tate was extremely positive! The only glitch was with the installer who forgot about his appointment. This was resolved by my salesperson at Famous Tate. Famous Tate associates are extremely knowledgeable and always helpful to resolve any issue that may arise.

Appliance prices are reasonable, unfortunately the installation was awful for us. The first installers cross threaded the water line for the ice maker causing a leak. A week later and an additional $300 dollar plumbing repair bill later we finally had ice. The dishwasher installation was not much better, the installer was less than polite and less than capable of installing the dishwasher. He started off trying to find reasons to not install the dishwasher, none of wich were valid. It appeared that he just didn’t want to do the job.

Got a call today about a delivery scheduled for Thursday. After severely butchering the pronunciation my name with no apology, the representative from Famous Tate demanded a $1200 balance be paid before delivery. When I explained that only three out of the four pieces were being delivered because the range was backordered and thats why there was still a balance, I got a condescending response of I only see a range cord on the invoice from the rep. As a local business owner Im totally appalled by the way I was spoken to, especially after spending just shy of $5000. with this company. Never again Famous Tate!

Folks at store are very friendly and very helpful. I bought a microwave oven, the price was the lowest I could find on the imternet. They had the model I wanted.I took is home with me. Booyah!
