Sugar Art is what many would call a diamond in the rough. Tucked away in the back of the shopping complex, you really have to be looking for it in order to find it. However, they gained popularity by being showcased on the Food Network, and rightfully so, as they do an amazing job.Ive become a huge fan over the past couple years, and on my most recent trip I picked up a Fruity Pebbles Cake and a Red Velvet Brownie Cake. Both were delightful, moist, and unique! Conventional cakes take a back seat to the art created by this bakery. They have chocolate covered strawberries, pineapples, and other unique chocolate dipped items. Cupcakes, custom cakes of all sorts, and brownies too. They are also quite festive with their seasonal decor, which makes the place warm and welcoming. If you havent experienced Sugar Art...well, what are you waiting for?

#1.Cashier didnt ask for proof of purchase meaning someone else could of take a cake that was already paid for in advance.#2 She had an attitude that was very off putting... after all this business is supposed to make people smile and want to return. #3 Hands me a cake without the box!? What was I supposed to do put it in my car open? Cake was very good though cashier just needs customer interaction courses.

If I could give 0 🌟s I would. Earnest was very unprofessional about my cake order that I placed on Monday, February 8, 2021 to be ready by Saturday, February 13, 2021 by 2:00 pm. I asked for one thing and got another. I got sprinkles on the inside(didnt ask for) the character was placed on at the last minute( which was too small😤), the order wasnt complete or completely ready at the said time. I was only reimbursed for the items that were not ready, but I was offered store credit for the cake that was NOT paid for off of store credit!!! Why would I want store credit??? For you guys to mess it up again?? I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE AGAIN AND IM SURE THE FEELING IS MUTUAL.!!!!

Customer service needs improvement - I placed an order for 10 hot chocolate bombs a week in advance for an event I had planned. I live in Fayetteville and its a 35 min drive to the shop. Yes there are bakeries in closer proximity to me that sell these bombs but nevertheless I decided to go with Sugar Art for their variety of bombs. I paid when I placed the order and told them the date I needed to pick them up. The day of I drove the 35 mins to pick up the bombs, arrived and they told me they didnt have my order. They did say they could try and remedy the situation by making them at that time but it took almost an hour from the time I arrived for them to do so. So I had to wait in the parking lot with irritated, screaming children while they worked to make the missing bombs. While I understand mistakes are made, its a complete inconvenience for me to have to wait an hour for something I ordered in advance to not have to do so. As a result my whole timeline for my event was screwed up and all I got was an apology. Not an offer to discount my order or any other compensation. Guess repeat customers arent high on their priority list

The treats are good but the customer service is completely disappointing, which makes it not worth spending the money. On my first visit, the selection was very limited due to training. Understandable. My second visit, I arrived at 2:00 (when they return to the shop for lunch). Even with the new numbers posted on the door, no one picked up. At the same time, they told another customer to come pick up their cake order but failed to let her know that they will be taking a late lunch that day. The customer drove from South Carolina! No one showed up until 2:25 and no one bother to apologize for the inconvenience upon arrival. Someone could have at least left a sign on the door or posted something on social media if you knew you were going to return to the shop late. My third visit, I showed up before 11, I waited 5 mins before anyone came out from the back and they only came out because another customer walked in 5 mins after me. Again, the treats are good but the customer service has been awful this last month. Very unprofessional and careless..

These are my guys. The brownies are ridiculously good and their new spot is pretty cool on the inside. Justin is a homie and the staff are all polite and knowledgeable. They did a custom ViXX cake for my wifes birthday and it looked amazing. They experiment quite a bit with flavors and I respect their style.

We ordered & paid for a baby shower cake almost month ago, for yesterday @ 2:00pm, but received a phone call to inform us the cake would not be ready until 2:00. When we arrived the cake was still not ready. To make things worse the cake wasnt finished until 3:55pm, by this time the shower is nearly over. In return, they tried to sooth the issue over my giving us a $25 gift card to spend with them. They refused to give my money back or even respond when I asked to speak to the owner. If you cannot have an order prepared when needed by the customer DONT TAKE THE ORDER, so the customer can go elsewhere to get the services/products they need! I will not recommend this business to anyone and I refuse to take down my review until my money is returned and apology for not having the cake ready when it was needed! #worstcustomerservice

The absolute best gourmet apples, custom cakes, and gourmet cup cakes around. Absolutely amazing work they do here. Stay away from the cheese cake apple unless you want to be addicted to it like a drug. Just kidding guys but this place is awesome. 5 stars from me forever.

Not good. The cupcake I tried was dry, the cheesecake cup was mostly overly sweet frosting, and the eclair had no taste except the thick layer of cheap tasting chocolate on top.

Very good baked goods. They are willing to help you decide what to put together for whatever event you are having. A little expensive, but good. They also work with you when you give them short notice. Need to have smaller cookies at an affordable price. Need to display more baked goods instead of candy and decorated apples, i.e. cakes, pies, pastries. They have great baked goods and need to branch out more with that. Just saying, this is what I constantly look for in a bakery.

Oh my God! I just recently found out about this place so I stopped by yesterday. I got two of the strawberry apples, one for me and one for my daughter. I will be going back! I saw a red velvet cheesecake that will be my next item to buy. Check it out. Its delicious!

Overall I rate this place with five stars across the board. Out of all the other places we got to try and sample, this one had a friendly as well as a relaxing feeling with the overwhelming smell of freshly baked goods!!! If you have a sweet tooth I would highly recommend Sugar Art Custom.
