I have bought rust for xbox one, and i wasnt informed that you cant return new items and you can only return pre owned? I wanted to trade the game rust for another game for the same price but they wont let you even if its pre owned? The game rust was $30 and if i sold it to them i would only get $11 in store credit or $8 in cash. May i ask why i cant return my item its only went through the disk tray once then put back into the case...

The store itself is ok to be a specialty store though they hardly ever have anything im looking for but some of the employees are kinda of pushy i went to buy a switch the guy told me on the phone that they had the basic switch in stock when I got there 10 minutes later one of them said oh we dont have it we only have the special edition I said I didnt want that one and he told me if I wanted it I better go ahead and get it cause its months before they will get any more in so I went to Walmart and bought the one I was looking for

The store was clean and well organized the staff was extremely friendly and helped answer all my questions. Our cashier attempted to get us the best pricing possible as well as informed us of upcoming promotions

A little pushy on the warranty. But its mainly because its gamestop and thats there job.

I am just writing this review so some employee or person of management can help me understand a situation i occurred while in the store. At the moment this location has a buy 3 POP figures at $11.99 get the third one free. My question is why does the free POP figure have to be priced at 11.99? I wanted to buy three at $11.99 and get one priced at $8.98 on clearance. I was told they could not do it. Why should the price of the free one matter if it is FREE anyway. Logically the store should make the sale because they want to make more money. Now instead of profiting $60 you only got $10.

GameStop of Lumberton is the worst Ive ever experience. The employees Ive talk to treated me like Im a child and not a ADULT. I dont want to put race into it, but it seems i have to. I might not look like a gamer, but i definitely know more than the employees i spoke to tonight. i do not recommended anyone go to the GameStop in LUMBERTON NC!!!!!

Poor service. Any transaction takes at least 15 minutes, even without anyone in front of you. If there is any line be prepared to stand there for at least an hour.Store is not understaffed, as employees continue working in the back (legitimately) while the line in-store grows. As digital copies grow in sales, the most important part of this store is the used games and buyback. This is the type of activity, buying or selling, that takes so long in store.The employees are enthusiastic and know their material. I only wish it was easier to come in, buy or sell a used game, and get out in under 15 minutes.

Its nice to be remembered. To have someone know what games I like. To be able to have a healthy conversation about video games.

This is my11 year grandsons favorite store, and my second time taking him here. It seems like a pretty popular place, but in my opinion I think gaming just takes up too much of a childs life, that is why I dont have Wi-Fi and only limited data.

Friendly, staff, they really know their stuff and are passionate about gaming. I just picked up a DS Lite and was given recommendations on what to get into based on what I like.

I purchased Madden 2017 new for $64.99 from this Game Stop for my son, he played the game for about 20 minutes max and just didnt like it so I took it back less than 24 hours later and was told that because it was purchased new that we couldnt get a refund and that it has depreciated in value once he opened so we only ended up with $27 store credit. I was furious especially considering this new game wasnt in the original case or wrapping when I purchased it so why didnt the value depreciate when they opened it? Ive spent a lot of Money here over the years but theyll never get another dime from me. They are a bunch of crooks.

Do not buy new games from them. Only pre owned. Since they open the new games before you purchase them they dont allow you to return them. Paid almost $100 for a new release game and was told 1 day later that I couldnt return because it was open (they opened it before i bought it because they take the disc out) but I could get $20 cash trade in. Associate was very rude, disrespectful, and demeaning in the way he spoke to me and he made me wait while he took 10 other customers that were in line behind me before he would take care of my issue. Worst experience I have ever had.
