Went here today to pick up a mobile order. Used to be friends with worker there but are no longer friends due to high school drama, they decided to stick their head out of the window to yell at us and threaten to ban us from the store when we were Just there to pick up coffee. Workers need to keep personal drama out of their work environment.
I went through the drive-thru and the staff was courteous, professional, and polite. I appreciated the prompt device and high quality product delivered to me through the convenience of my car window. I ordered a large cup of complimentary water and would definitely come back for more the next time I’m thirsty.*EDIT* I initially gave this experience five stars but demoted it to the current three because the water has a slightly off flavor reminiscent of the smell over chlorinated institutional public bathrooms get.
Some close friends of mine went to pick up their coffee order at the drive thru and were greeted by a yelling teenage girl. I wish I was joking. The employees name was Alyssa. My friends have experienced problems with this specific employee for the last few weeks, and it is getting old. They are frequent customers and she is an employee. Its about time she acted like it.
This Starbucks was well located and clean. The staff were friendly and quick.

A worker was yelling at some kids for no reason, they were there to get coffee and weren’t making any disruptions at all.bathrooms are also disgusting 24/7, barista tends to get my order wrong and she wouldn’t try to fix it
We have visited this Starbucks many times. We always stop at store while we drive down south and on our way back. We always had good experiences with the staff. Our coffee and teas were great as well. We will keep visiting this store.
Stopped on my way to Florida. The frappe was made perfectly to order and gave me the energy to get home!
Not the best Starbucks Ive visited. The whole place needed deep cleaning, specially the restrooms. Drinks and sandwich were good.
Probably the slowest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. There were probably six people behind the counter and most of them were just standing around not doing anything and it took me 20 min to get my one drink.
There was a line of about 6 cars when I pulled up to the drive thru. I expected a short wait but wasnt worried. What I didnt expect was a 30 minute wait and when I finally reached the window card in hand to sit staring at a closed window for 4 minutes. I also was watching and the car ahead of me only had a single drink as did I. The coffee when I did eventually get it tasted fine, buy for the multiple workers and what seemed like a normal not rushed day inside the wait was too long.
One of the worst experiences at a Starbucks. I stopped here while traveling...at about 2pm. They were out of blueberry muffins already...told me AFTER I had paid.The Frappuccino machine was down. So I just decided to get iced coffee. The young lady literally filled about 1/3 of the cup with milk. It came out very light colored and she asked was it too light. Isnt there a standard? If you have to ask, then it probably is. When in doubt, through it out. Even the ladies behind me were observing with a surprised facial expression. By this time, after wasting about 20min, I was just done. I will take it, 👋. Additionally, yes they were busy...but the store was a bit unclean and two flies were in the food display case. I went next door to Chick-fil-A, got a quick hot meal AND a small coffee. I had another almost 300 miles to drive.
Drinks were wrong and loaded with sugar. Complained and basically told me too bad. Had a warm crispy grilled cheese sandwich. In the garbage. Cheese was bad and bread soaked with butter. So disappointed
This place had several issues. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and clearly havent been cleaned well in quite some time. The mens room had caked urine everywhere. The counters and kitchen area were cluttered and dirty. On top of that, the line for coffee inside was ridiculously slow. Apparently they prioritize the the drive through over walk-ins AND sanitation! We will never go here again.
The worst service EVER!! The point of mobile orders are to beat the lines and I waited over 20 mins OVER the pick up time and when I informed a barista I was told “oh you could’ve just told me” that is down right rude and terrible customer service especially for a Starbucks!

My only assumption is they were trying to break a record for slowest Starbucks. I might have been fine with that if they had clean bathrooms. Sadly, that was not the case. My latte was good once I got it.

This place needs a lot of work. We were traveling and stop here to get something to drink. We were in the drive-thru line for over 30 minutes. By this time we needed to use the restroom, got out of the line to use the restroom and lets just say that might have just saved our lives. The restrooms were awful 😖 😱. We B line and got the heck out of there. Will never stop there again!!!
Terrible. At first it was great. Lovely person at the front greeted us and made sure they not only attended to us but did amazingly at training the new employee. Then we wait for our drinks. The barista focusing on in cafe drinks was awful, man before us not only got his drink made wrong but she didn’t help him fix it until we got our drinks. I asked for a caramel macchiato with 2 extra pumps of vanilla and there was no vanilla, another person in my group wanted an iced americano and the barista made it with no ice completely warm and nasty, the last drink was made right but the lid was not secured and we spilled it al over. The barista didn’t know what we ordered or why it was wrong. Compared to a lot of other Starbucks Cafes I’ve been to this has to be at the bottom.(CASHIERS I MET YOU DID WONDERFUL IM SORRY YOU HAVE STAFF THAT DRAGA YOU DOWN LIKE THAT)
I have never been to a Starbucks where the employees were less than pleasant until yesterday. My cashier was anything but pleasant. I chalked it up to a bad day until I picked up my order. I told the barrista to have a great day and a better tomorrow. Yeah, thanks was the response I received.
I understand that they are off the highway and short on product but the rude customer service, slamming of drinks and mishandling of product was absolutly not neccessary. As an avid Starbucks visitor this was one of the worst stores I have ever been to. Not to mention the worker hanging outside on the patio screaming over the phone while smoking a cigarette just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

They were out of almost everything I wanted and there was a barrier up so that you could not get out of line. The workers were nice and doing the best they could, but it was not my best experience.
Dirtiest bathroom for a Starbucks Ive ever been in. Better off going to a Sheetz. Super long lines inside and out for coffee at 4:30 on a Sunday.

The coffee was so hot the cup would not hold its shape. A quarter of it flew in the air and landed all over my daughter, burning her stomach and thighs. Thinking the lid had not been secured, I carefully reached for the coffee and it wound up all over and on my daughter too. They need to double the cups or not make it that hot. I threw away the cup and coffee after the cup buckled the third time.
Worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Slowest service ever. I got a plain cold brew which takes 2 second to pour and I waited 20+ minutes. Staff was rude. They blocked the restrooms even though nothing wrong with them, just too lazy to clean them. Go somewhere else.

Not only was my drink made incorrectly, the line about 30min long, but the lid was not securely placed on so now I have 400mi to travel covered in 2/3 of a venti cup of latte. It spilled all over my clothes and car. Worst Starbucks ever!
This was the dirtiest & filthiest Starbucks I have ever been to. The Starbucks store was full of food pieces lying around, flies on the food, glasses, racks, ceiling in-fact everywhwre you couldn’t even stand they were all over the store. The store smelled like vomit. The bathroom had urine all around. The entrance had trash and coffee spill, too nasty! We were driving for hours and needed a coffee and restroom break and Starbucks was the best option around but that came out to be the worst option.Hope the store/Starbucks addresses this issue as soon as possible to maintain hygiene standard that a usual Starbucks has with the pandemic going around.

This Starbucks is out of everything. When ordering on app it shows out of all the most popular drinks. I order a very uncommon drink and the app doesn’t mention they are out of anything. Get to window and sure enough they are out of sugar free cinnamon syrup! I just scratch that order and ask for Splenda for another drink and of course they are out of that too! Where is management at? Refill your products!! And why does the inside always look dirty? So sad this store is not living up to the Starbucks name!!!!!!!!
Made an online order. Place is dirty. Spilled coffee on counters. Wrong item in order. Ordered water and they were out but did not tell me until I asked for the waters I paid for. Left without refund.
Grossest starbucks ever. Overflowing trashcan, trash and spills all over the ground. Pools of water and no handsoap in bathrooms.
No greeting when walking in (we were the only customers). Everything looked dirty. Caps and cups laying on floor under counter near cup dispenser like a graveyard for rubbish. Customer mixing station was dirty and had an empty gallon milk container sitting in rubbish bin. 2 stars because coffee was hot.

Worst experience at a Starbucks to date, not only did the barista on bar not have proper training leading to all three of my drinks being made incorrectly. Not to mention his pants around his ankles and phone sitting on the espresso machine. I’d love to include a name but he was one of many baristas not wearing a name tag. Their sanitation rating now makes sense after looking at how this store is operated.

Even after the remodel, the outside and around the drive through window is filthy!!! I’m not sure what has changed with the coffee, I always order latte without foam and sweet and low, (which they do not carry anymore) and I can’t even taste the coffee anymore!!! Today I ordered a caramel macchiato with less pump syrup and I still can’t taste the coffee !!! Looks like I’ll have to go to Duncan Donuts! I have been stopping at Star bucks every morning I work for the past 10 years!!! Very disappointed!
This Starbucks was by far the filthiest I have ever seen. It had flies all around the cafe and the restroom was full of urine and feces. If I hadn’t been driving for hours and desperately needed coffee I would of canceled my order. My other options in the area were of the same caliber I thought Starbucks was the best option. Coffee was decent.

Dirty bathroom, no soap. Ew! Also I ordered a Nitro Cold Brew and received a drink with ice. When I politely asked if it was Nitro, the barista said it wasnt. I told her I had ordered a Nitro and she mumbled with an attitude that she would remake it. No apology, and she handed me the new drink without a word. In this time of frequent business closures, no business can afford poor customer service!

Nothing in stock and notices posted all over the places it’s due to conditions outside or their control — a lie as I travel for work and visit Starbucks up and down the east coast and only had this problem here. Girl who was taking orders had huge gaps in acknowledging customers leading the guy ahead of me to just pull around because every time he tried to order, she’d spend a minute just sitting there not acknowledging him. Probably one of the worst Starbucks I’ve ever visited and would not suggest hitting this one when on I-95.
Worst Starbucks EVER!!! Do NOT waste your time coming here!!! We ordered using the mobile app as we were traveling down I-95 and ended up stuck in their drive-thru for half an hour. The server at the window thought it was funny that we were in line that long (she literally laughed when I mentioned it) and our order was cold by the time we got it. This store is in desperate need of better management, staff training, and customer service understanding!!! Absolutely AWFUL experience!!!!

Worst Starbucks Ive ever been to. Went inside to order because the drive thru line was long. The workers werent friendly. I asked about my drink and the girl rudley said working on it. She had been talking to a friend which made her take even longer to make the drinks. Took 30 minutes for me to get a coffee and refresher! Dont waste your time stopping at this one if youre traveling I95, stop at the next one! Maybe they will appreciate your business!

I usually go threw the drive thru which is always wrapped around the whole store then when you get to the intercom the employee always sound dead like they need to drink a cup of there coffee.There always out of everything.The drinks dont be to good and overpriced.

This Starbucks doesn’t even have customers sitting in the store and the bathroom looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a couple days. Several workers. 10am and already out of bacon and gruyere egg bites. Poor management. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because I got hot coffee and I’m gracious, but it needs help.

Worst Starbucks Ive ever been! Terrible service, got drink orders wrong twice and the drinks were not the standard that we knew and love. No smiles or apologies from employees.
This place is always packed but its always worth it. Never had a burnt tasting coffee from this place. Vanilla bean frappuccino with caramel in and out you can never go wrong there. Especially if you like coffee in your creamer like I do.
Decent coffee at an inflated price....just like every Starbucks. Im good for another 5 years. Natzis when it came to wearing a mask, as we all know they dont stop viruses.

The worst! NO NITRO COLD BREW/ COLD BREW. No hot coffee because there grind machine was messed up. worst attitudes. Disgusting indoors. Trash was everywhere outside. Waited 30 minutes! And the bathroom toilet was literally overflowing. I mean my God? What’s going on? Do they not have a cleaning person scheduled just to clean? This is ridiculous. NEEDS new management and they need to work on talking to customers correctly!!! Do they schedule enough of people because it doesn’t look like it
DONT CUSTOM ORDER. Simple order of 2 quad espressos, 1 with 1 pump cinnamon and 1 pump vanilla. 1 cup only had 2 shots of espresso and the other was missing the vanilla. So the store stole from me by not giving me what I paid for. Typical drive-through service when they know you wont notice till it is too late.
Starbucks is a treat that I permit myself pretty regularly. This store does a GREAT job, the drinks are top notch (as are most Starbucks drinks). But what sets them apart is their community involvement and the focus on personal service. If you are there with any regularity, they work hard to remember your name and what you like. And that, too, is like other Starbucks, but the Sumter Starbucks under Kendras management seems to take it a notch higher and notably friendlier. In these COVID days, that is especially hard, but they still manage it!

A little irritated. Stopped in here while passing through Lumberton on the way home from Myrtle Beach to grab a drink and use the bathroom. To my surprise, the bathrooms were blocked off to customers. This caused me and the fam to have use the bathroom at the nearby Walmart (which is always a treat). I understand covid safety and all that but blocking off your bathroom is a huge inconvenience for your customers and seems to me to just be a way to not have to clean bathrooms.
I just passed by the drive, and I asked for 1 hot milk and 1 cappuccino .. I said, vabeh it can happen .. then I went inside to ask for my cappuccino explaining to two girls what they had given me! one with orange hair answers me with a tone and a face .. now Im not working, while it was just inside that they were working! Orrible
Im not going to lie. I’m a bit complicated when it comes to my food in general but that’s because I know what I want 😌. This Starbucks has been so sweet & patient to me especially in these unpleasant times. Thank you for making my day just a lil bit brighter.

We love stopping at this Starbucks when we’re traveling! Stopped in today and the girl at the register (Kayla or kaylin?) was so sweet and helpful. Josie made some awesome drinks and was super nice!
The worst most trashy starbucks Ive ever been to. Staff was nice but it was dirty and trashy. Could not fit a napkin in the trash and the bathroom looked like it had COVID all over it. Would NOT recommend. They were also out of BASIC starbucks ingredients.
Ordered a iced mocha tried to give me a blonde looking drink. Told them it was the wrong drink and they that was their mocha drink when I ask for my money back they decided to remake it. It looked right so I took it and left. The drink ended up tasting like 2 day old coffee they added chocolate to.
I have been in Lumberton for 3 weeks for work and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a starbucks. They have literally always made my orders wrong, but they are so busy and so understaffed that I do not have time to wait another 20 minutes for them to fix it. It should not be this frustrating to get a $5 drink made correctly. I dont want an inch of foam in an iced matcha latte. These baristas are obviously not trained properly. I have been very disappointed.
Masks werent all the way up and music was EXTREMELY loud. We couldnt hear each other talk!
