Third time I’ve used TBF. They’ve always done a great job on my vehicles.

I called several shops to inquire about their ability to repair the door on my van. There are some male staff members who tend to discount the report given about the needed repair when a female is speaking. That was not the case w Titus at this business. He was respectful and assured me of their ability to do the work. Staff kept me apprised of the status of the repair and the estimated cost. I will definitely take any issues w my vehicles to Texas Body and Frame in the future.

Robert went above and beyond to make sure my car was taken care of. When parts were delayed due to Covid and complications arose, he called me daily to give me updates and let me know how everything was progressing. He did everything he could to help speed up the process and keep me in the loop about what was being done to fix my car. I appreciate their hard work so much and while I hope I don’t have to use their services again, I know where I’ll be taking it if I do!

My insurance told me to use them to make repairs on my car. It was very expensive and the paint is bad, my trunk is worse than when it went in and I was without my car for almost 2 weeks for a few repairs. Would not recommend

I’ve been here twice to have my car repaired and I have always felt very respected and confident that they are doing the best work possible! Having no knowledge on cars I was very confused when I was trying to have my car fixed at another location but once I went to Texas Body and Frame I no longer get confused! They explained everything to my in a way that didn’t make me feel dumb and they addressed all of my MANY questions! I highly recommend going here because the staff does an excellent job and they are very welcoming and nice people!

Great customer service!

I had an employee damage the front grill guard, driver side steering arm, front bumper, and front driver quarter panel. My insurance recommended Texas Body and Frame. This was the first time I had ever used this place. First off, they had my truck for over three weeks and each week told me it would be ready that Friday or the following Tuesday. Never happened. I finally got the truck back at the end of the fourth week. My employee picked up the truck and noticed that the grill guard still had scratches on it, however, they charged my insurance for a new grill guard. When I asked about it, they said someone from my company told them to take it to Accessory Depot and THEY must have put on a damaged grill guard. The real explanation is they bent the original and tried to paint it, and made up the story about Accessory Depot. (BTW they charged $800 for a grill that is $400 installed.) They finally contacted me saying that they would send it to Fleet Accessories (which is where the original grill guard was purchased) the following Monday to have a new grill guard put on and it would only take half a day. I dropped the truck off Monday at 8am, called at 2pm and they said it would be done and back from Fleet at 5pm. So, 4:45pm Monday rolled around and Texas Body and Frame called to say the Fleet still had the truck and it would be ready in the morning and they cant believe it wasnt done and were very upset with Fleet. Tuesday at lunch they call the say the truck is ready. I go to pick it up and it is still the same grill guard with a new paint job over the scratches. I called Fleet Accessories and they had never heard anything from Texas Body and Frame and have not had my truck in at all. HORRIBLE LYING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I will never take any of my other work or personal vehicles to this place. HORRIBLE!!!!!

Our family has used Texas Body & Frame for years. The body work is excellent, and the customer service exceeded my expectations every time. Paul was very helpful and made sure everything was perfect and clean when I picked up my Yukon. Most definitely the best shop in Lubbock!

Highly recommend this place. Great customer service and my vehicle was completed in a timely manner. The inside of my car was just as I left it, no smells. Just as the first car I brought it was done in a timely manner and looked brand new when the work was done.

I do NOT reccomend this place to anyone. So apparently it takes two plus weeks for an an estimate then another 2 plus weeks to do a job and then the job is not completely finished when the vehicle is released. Im very dissapointed in the amount of time everything took and the fact that There is still work to be done.

Hands down great service and amazing work!

In the grand scheme of things my problem was trivial - my trunk wouldnt open. The problem: I left my laptop in the trunk before it jammed, and I have a Toyota Solara convertible, so you cant get in to the trunk from the back seat. TB&F was willing to have someone take out the back seat and try to access the trunk, but I was finally able to get in by banging on the trunk and getting it to release. After I got it open, Robert from TB&F made adjustments to the striker at no charge and the problem seems fixed at no charge. Some places charge you $100 to just look at it. At TB&F they were friendly, helpful, and interested in developing a relationship with a future customer than grabbing a quick buck. It was a small kindness to them, big help to me.

They had our vehicle for almost a full month while we had a rental. Zero updates unless we initiated contact first. The repair was shoddy at best, as the trim was loose within weeks of us finally getting our car back. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!RESPONSE TO OWNER: It was under my husbands name. And my user name isnt my legal name. We had our vehicle in your shop June and July of 2016. It was a nightmare experience, took way longer and the trim was loose shortly after. (Check my Yelp review from 2016, if you need more info.) Our experience with your shop was SO bad we never contacted you to fix the trim. After the initial repair took almost a month (after promised time of 4 days) we decided we didnt trust you to fix the issues after. Our vehicle SAT in your yard for almost all of that month. We have a Hum installed and could track when it was started, moved, how far it moved, speed of movement, etc. We could see when and where it was moved. Or NOT moved as the case may be. So, thanks but no thanks to your offer.

Have worked with these guys several times, and they sure know how to make an unfortunate experience easier to handle. I felt that they were honest about what repairs I needed, and handled my account professionally while showing a personal interest in what I needed and could afford. Will definitely return.

My truck was hit by a guy who ran a red light. We had extensive damage to the passengers side and front end. His insurance (not State Farm) said it was repairable. After tear down Texas Body and Frame found $3000 more in damages than the original estimate. The insurance company then totaled the truck. The expertise of the workers here uncovered all of the actual damage.I have used this business several times over the years. They have always done excellent work on my vehicles and worked with State Farm to make sure all needed repairs are covered and done. Paul has always keep me up to date.

They have done several repairs on my vehicles throughout the years. Always have done a great job. Even when Dealership couldn’t get a part for me they found me one. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else!

Went in to have work done due to someone backing into my car then another person hitting the back of my car. They had to replace parts on my car, as well as get the dents out of my car, repaint the car and make it look nice. I was told this was a great place to get work done, think again. They tear things up on your vehicle that were not even tore up to begin with and then try to say it was like that previously or it was factory wear per Wesley.... OMG! Never again. Progressive should not have this shop listed as one of their best! More could be said but I will be nice and leave it at this!

Would have been better if the person who worked on my car didnt smoke while they did it!!! I am not a smoker and do NOT appreciate my car smelling like smoke when I get into it when I pick it up.

I went in for a quote for some damage I had on my rear bumper. Told the guy it was going to be done through Kemper insurance. He asked if I had the paperwork the adjuster sent me. I proceeded to tell him yes that I did but I just wanted a quote on the damages. He told me that he could not give me a quote unless he had the insurance write up. I then told him that I had three other body shops give me quotes with out having the paperwork. He told me that he wouldnt do it without looking at the papers. Do not go here! Crappy customer service, tried to rip me off and protect the insurance company instead of looking out for the customer!

I got an estimate on a 90 model LX 5.0 and it is the most expensive quote that Ive ever gotten in my entire life to say the least bit I wouldnt recommend them to anybody nor would I let them touch any vehicle that I own! Just another company that doesnt mind taking advantage of peoples hard earned $!!!!!

Took my wifes car to Texas Body & Frame because it was suggested by my insurance (Progressive) after a hail storm. They had the vehicle for almost 4 weeks while other locals vehicles were taking ~2 weeks to repair. Wife picked the vehicle up yesterday and I took it upon myself to inspect their work which i ended up finding roughly 12 dents on the roof that were not repaired. I will not use this company again nor will i suggest my worse enemy to do so.
