It is a nostalgic experience for me. My mom used to take me and my sister there when we were very young. Although they concentrate on pools now they still sell old classic toys. I saw Rock em Sock em robots, Cabbage Patch kids, Battleship and even Spirograph.

The salesmen on phone clearly did not want to help me. I bought new house came with pool. never had pool before completely ignorant on the subject. they offer closing services but said coming to my place just to check to see if pervious owner closed it properly was ludicrous. ok dont take money from people trying to pay you for a service your website says you provide. complete Jerks. and again from when they answered the phone I knew they just didnt want my business.

I had pool opening for 2021, I desired to take the cover off by myself to save $50.00. it would to cost me $285.00 if they remove the cover. She asked me for credit card first before the job started. I had no choice just to give her to charge for $235.00. This morning, I check my card statement, the charge for the job was $294 ish. I called her, she explained that the $50 ish was a charge to repair the nest last closing. I was not aware of anything. Roger Pool just changed me $50 without my authorization. Be aware with this company. Dont give them your credit card first, pay when you get a slip.

Great service- extremely knowledgeable! My son purchased his first home and the pool had not been closed correctly by original owners; several companies quoted worst water quality ever seen! Thankfully Rogers Poolwere able to get the water into proper balance quickly and were super helpful in advising my son on proper pool care!

Their costumer service was absolutely abysmal, when I tell you that these people are nasty it’s an understatement. Having had to deal with a multitude of representatives none of them have been helpful nor even remotely nice. They wouldn’t help fix a filter they installed less than a year ago and now we are forced to use another company. Not only should this be under some form of warranty but any filter less than a year old should not break 3+ times... I will not recommend this group to anyone and as someone who’s been a loyal customer for 10+ years I am disgusted.

Recently finished an above ground pool install with Rogers. I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately all the reviews are correct about Gary the owner. Great up front when selling the pool, but once they have your money they are miserable to work with. Rude, inconsiderate, terrible planning and worst of all doesnt stand by their word. Even returning a simple phone call doesnt happen. I will say they sell a great product, their installers are top notch and extremely meticulous but Im just not sure its worth all the hassle. I will not be returning.

We built a 20 x 40 inground pool almost 20 years ago. Usually every year I open the pool with my dad, but the beginning of last year he had a quintuple bypass surgery and during his recovery he was very immobile. Since I can’t do it on my own, I called Rogers Pool, as they are reasonably priced and have been in my area pretty much forever now. When they opened the pool, they couldn’t get our filter running. I received a call from them about how we needed a new pump and that we had a leak. When I relayed the message to my dad, he disagreed. Despite doctors orders that he cannot use stairs, bend over, or exert himself in any way, (obviously I couldn’t stop him, I’m sure many of you understand what that’s like) he eventually figured out that the guys who opened the pool never took the skimmer plugs out. After my dad pulled out the plugs, he primed the pumps and got the filter running. This was a very easy job to accomplish but due to incompetence of our hired help, I had to watch my father struggle to finish the job when he physically could not. He just really wanted to open the pool for his grandson. The pool ran fine all season. My dad was still not fully recovered by the end of the season, so he called up Rogers to close the pool. I guess he figured, what are the odds Rogers Pool will make another mistake that stupid, right? He is now fully recovered and this past weekend I helped him open the pool. Usually when we open the pool (after closing it ourselves), the pool is green but it is a clear green and we can see the very bottom of it. This time, it was a deep, very murky green and the pools water line was high. Upon closer inspection, we found that they never drained the pool to the proper level, never flushed the lines out and never put the skimmer plugs in.I don’t know what it is with this company and skimmer plugs, but when you don’t put skimmer plugs in the pool when you close it up, you are risking the pool lines freezing and destroying the pools plumbing. We are so lucky that the previous winter was mild, because everything is running fine right now, however, we did notice a small leak in the manifold of our pool heater, and that heater is only 3 years old.We were going to let the mistakes made when they opened the pool go, but because they didn’t open AND close our pool properly, my father called Rogers asking for a full refund. Nothing more nothing less. That’s pretty reasonable since they didn’t do both jobs properly and would have ruined our pools plumbing if we had a colder winter. My father wasn’t even offered a partial refund, instead the owner told him he was lying, and when my dad began getting frustrated, the owner also called him crazy. The owner claimed he sent guys to resolve the issue when they first opened the pool, but that is not true, I watched my father fix everything on his own 3 weeks after he was let out of the hospital. My father still has heart disease, and although I was trying to make his life easier by calling Rogers Pool, I did the exact opposite and it only served to stress him out.I only recommend using Rogers Pool if you are going to baby sit them while they work and you know all the steps they are supposed to take, but just a heads up- even if you request for them to call you before they come over, they will not.I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

Bought our inground pool from Rogers and from day 1 the service is absolutely horrible. Gary the owner is so rude and doesn’t stand behind his awful work. I would highly recommend the Pool Doctor. Stay away, buyer beware, do your research. This guy shouldn’t be in business and doesn’t stand behind his awful work and product. He subs out the pool installs and repairs and just is a slimy sales guy. Please ready the reviews and go elsewhere or you will be sorry. Horrible... please spend your hard earned money elsewhere for someone who appreciates and treats you respectfully and kindly.

Rogers pool installed my pool many years ago. Today I went to the store. Need 2 lower rail brackets. Gary went out back came tothe counter told me they are worth “gold” and wanted $42 dollars for 2 brackets which were online for $9.99 each. This is an excessive mark up I think! He doubled the price of each one.I left and told Gary I would not be back. If you think you are getting a deal you many not be.Shop around.I’ll order online and wait than pay exorbitant prices for parts to my pool that he sold me.Just the response I expected. You are a pirate!!I would shop around as he will up charge you if he can!

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL customer service. We’ve gone to them the whole two years we’ve had our house/pool. I just called to ask a SIMPLE question about OUR $1,600 liner we had bought from them and they gave me a hard time and hung up on me. We have spent WELL OVER $5,000 at this company. We will NEVER be buying from them ever again. Worst pool company around. DISGUSTING.

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS! We just bought a brand new liner from them in October for $1,600 had them install and close our pool (that cost was separate from liner) then had them open our pool in June. It’s july and we woke up to our pool completely emptied our rocks and sand all moved and our lawn destroyed. We can see the liner busted over night. We call and at first they accused us of never buying a liner from them stating “you don’t have an account here this has nothing to do with me” Once we got our credit card receipts then they “helped” us. Basically we were told there’s nothing they can do okay whatever then we have a simple question of what kind of liner was it because we will be buying a cheaper one and installing ourselves as we can’t afford another 2k just to install another liner. THEY HUNG UP ON US AFTER YELLING ON THE PHONE AT US. These people are rude and horrible. Will never ever recommend them, if anything will be telling people to avoid this place for the horrible customer service and belittling attitude.

I cant rate them low enough and unfortunately am not surprised by all the negative reviews. We had them open our pool a couple years ago. Our pool is somewhat complicated. I believe they subbed the work out. They couldnt figure it out and left the job incomplete. His response was we dont deal with pools like yours. Then you should have said so, not done a terrible job and not make the situation right. I dont normally post a lot of negative reviews, but I really think this is one of the worst businesses Ive ever dealt with. Stay far away from them.

Called because Rogers installed our pool heater last year and we were smelling gas in the area. When the utility company came they said there is a gas leak in the pool heater. Called Rogers to inquire about what to do and the conversation went like this;Me: Good morning, how are you?Guy: Busy, what do you need?Me: the pool heater you installed for me last year has a gas leakGuy: Well who is your plumber? *Click*The other issue I experienced was I paid Rogers to close it for me in the fall, while opening this season I opened my DE filter and the filter elements werent there! They didnt tell me they take and store them for the winter.Very rude on the phone. I wouldnt call this company again if they were going to do the work for free.

Ill just preface this review by saying this project with Rogers Pool was a re-do since a different contractor we hired last year botched the vinyl liner job so bad we had to sue them. Rogers was the contractor we selected to re-do the project and we are beyond happy with the results. Thanks to them we now have a high quality liner, that’s properly fitting and will last for years.Mike in the sales department was courteous and professional going over all our vinyl liner options with us and setting our expectations for how the project would go. He knew we had gone through a very rough experience with our previous contractor so it was like night and day having someone like Mike dedicated to our project and seeing it through to the end, assisting with any questions or issues along the way. Gary the owner at the store was very helpful when choosing our liner pattern.Dave the installer has to be one of the best in the local area to replace a vinyl liner. His expertise, knowledge, and attention to detail are exemplary. Dave put well over 2 full days into our project, vermiculiting the shallow end, troweling the deep end, repairing and prepping the pool side walls, and installing a new vinyl liner. The prep work is actually what takes the most amount of time. Dave and his two workers made sure every surface was smoothed and treated properly before moving on. Dave uses a two-step vacuuming process when installing the liner to ensure a proper tight fit and seal. Most companies will only use one vacuum. We are really impressed with Dave’s dedication and craftsmanship with our pool. Thanks to him we won’t need to worry about a new liner for years and years to come, let summer begin! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to get a new liner installed or any other pool service.A word of advice on any project, but especially getting a new pool liner. Be sure you know the step by step process of what that contractor is going to do and then make sure they do it even if you have to take off a day of work to supervise. Don’t hesitate to stop them in their work and ask questions even if they get annoyed. We did not do that with the first contractor last year. Although we had a general idea of how a liner is taken out and replaced, it really is much more involved than we thought. To be done properly that is. Just as a comparison the “Bad” contractor he had the old liner out and all his “prep” work done and a new liner going into the track within about 2.5 hours and the water truck showed up 30 minutes later and he used no vacuum. Our new contractor, Rogers Pool took nearly 2 full days for the same work. So you can clearly tell “Bad” contractor cut a lot of corners, did not care about a quality install and tried to get away with it by being deceitful. Thanks to the judicial system for seeing things in our favor we were able to re-coup all of our money back from the contractor to have the liner re-done.

Extremely dissatisfied with there scheduling services. I called two weeks ago to schedule an opening of my above ground pool, explaining I had no idea what to do so I needed someone who would come out and get it going. I got a call yesterday from there scheduling service and was told I had to prepare the pool for them to come out and do what ever they were supposed to do. I again explained that I had no idea what to do and I wanted them to do everything. I was told that they dont do that kind of opening and that I had to drain the water off the top, remove the covering and make sure there was enoogh water in the pool. I said I needed them to do all and if they didnt do that I would have to find someone that would. Her response was OK and then she hung up. Very disappointed with this kind of customer service.
