Would choose this first over any of the big box stores. Staff is great, eager to help. Soooo much easier and quicker when trying to do something around your house especially when its something you need now and dont feel like dealing with the lines

What an amazing selection! Crystal was excellent in helping me find exactly what I needed. The nuts and bolts section was amazing! I have never seen a selection so large. I was completely surprised that the store had three levels! We will definitely be coming back here.

A&G has very helpful staff. They are a great local resource for most common hardware needs but are not large. You may not be able to to find rare items or a wide selection but they can easily help with most common hardware needs. Worth a visit.

Really good traditional hardware store and more. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They are also good at not bothering you if you dont want help at a particular moment. The selection is good and the prices quite reasonable.

These guys are the best around. Ive gone in a couple times now to buy wiring to hang netting in my volleyball facility (Mill City Volleyball Club) and these guys got exactly what I needed and explained in detail the best way for me to hang my netting. Turned out great, thanks guys! Ill be back to do more business!

My son and I went into the store today and purchased keys. Amy and Crystal helped us find their huge selection of locks and keys! They even made him his own special keys. I was so excited to see they offered a wide variety of keys and locks. We really enjoyed this store and will definitely be back in.

A ray of light in the chaotic darkness of remodeling. This small hardware store offers higher quality kitchen cabinetry lines then the big box stores at competitive prices. Their design service was vastly superior to the bigger stores, they came out several times to measure and then inspect the work. In the one instance that a piece came in broken they were diligent in working with the manufacturer to replace it quickly. An easy 5 star rating from my wife and I. I love this store. It has 3 floors of shopping. Its amazing. Everyone there is always so nice and helpful. The owners kids are extremely knowledgable and always willing to go above and beyond and their right hand man Wayne. I love what they did with the register area. Im shocked that Michael Page says he waited 30 minutes for help.He has to be lying. AG is a staple of Lowell, so they have been doing things right thus far. My receipt states a 30 day return policy. I find it gross people write bad reviews which are typically lies.

I love A.G. Hardware, they always seem to have exactly what I need for reasonable prices. They even had the snow shovels I wanted the day before a snow storm. Cant get better than that. I visit often for my hardware needs and everyone is always helpful.

My new kitchen is now finished and I could not be happier. I started at a big box store and was very unhappy with the lack of attention to detail and disinterest. Then they offered the price!! Yikes! Two painful hours of consult wasted.I took my design to Donna Gagnon at AG Hardware and in about 20 minutes she had taken my design and made it so much better. Then the moment of truth...better quality cabinets, and extra cabinet and larger sink were worked in ...all for less than the big box store.A manufacturer mistake and one damaged door front were not a problem. Donna took care of them immediately and with a smile.I would go to AG Hardware in a heartbeat to do another kitchen.Thanks so much for all your excellent service!

Horrible customer service, store is tiny and tight and in need of some updating to say the least. Had to wait 30 min for them to get me the parts I needed and then I was hung up on while discussing the return policy of the store which is by no means a clear cut policy. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere that they actually appreciate your business.

We have used AG and Brian for a couple of bathroom remodels. He is great ... and unlike YoMamas experience has stood behind the products. He has addressed factory defects and wrong parts to our satisfaction and pleasantly. The staff downstairs is just as helpful and friendly. I cant say enough good things about this business ... PLUS ... I amazed at the variety of items ... want to spend a whole day just looking .... I also recommend AG to my friends.

Been a long time customer at AG hardware. Always had great a experience when I came in. An opportunity came about for me to join the team and now Im helping people with the knowledge I accrued over my years doing maintenance work.

I have upgraded my original rating from one star to five stars based on a very good experience at AG Hardware today.Back in mid-January, 2016, I had a bad experience in the kitchen and bath center, when I ordered a countertop. After almost two months of delays, where I felt like I was getting the runaround, I canceled the order. Donna from AG told me the fabricator was at fault, having ordered the wrong material twice. She said the fabricator just threw his hands up and walked away, not wanting to fulfill the order. I thought AG had somehow been messing up the order and was trying to blame the supplier.Annoyed, I took a refund and went elsewhere for the countertop.While visiting AG today to get some supplies for this project, I saw Donna again. She recognized me, said hello, then asked if she could talk with me. Apparently this incident bothered her, because she showed me email exchanges between her and the fabricator, which proved the fabricator was making all the mistakes by not ordering carefully enough. It showed AG was in the middle between an unreliable supplier and an unhappy customer.What really impressed me most of all was that Donna still recognized me three months later and wanted to try to smooth it over. I thought she was very sincere in her approach and was straightforward in explaining and showing me exactly where the failure lay.Would you get that level of service at Home Depot or Lowes? Most definitely not.So Donna, if youre reading this, thank you again for stopping to say hello. I really appreciate your working to regain a customer. RD
