This is an average Target. I enjoyed the dedicated Disney section with a video screen for kids but it was very messy; unlike the Revere Target with a similar setup. I did appreciate that every check out register was manned so there wasn’t long lines. If they could stock and cleanup the shelves/aisles this would be a decent Target.
I read some other reviews about this Target and I too have had great and not so great experiences here. However, the reason for my 5 star rating is - since COVID-19 began, this store has really stepped up their game. For almost 2 years now I have had outstanding customer service at this location - from the staff working the floor, to the cashiers, to the staff working curbside pickup, to the staff managing online orders - I have been very impressed. This has become my Target of choice over the last couple of years and I really appreciate the staff working throughout Covid. Thank you - I have definitely noticed the improvements made.
Used to like this target for the convenient location but now service is awful. Last week I went to get a soda stream refill and they told me they haven’t had any in a while but while shopping I passed by the aisle to find a shelf full. Today, I was passing by the appliance section and found a nutribullet for a good price, I took it to the front desk only to find out it was $69.99 not $29.99 like the sticker said… I took a picture and went back to the cashier for him to tell me it was the item next to it and even that wasn’t the correct price…
Worst Target ever!!! Shelves are bare. No bags for the fruits and vegetables. No spices! Not even basic ones like cinnamon. The worst! Only one checker open. Do yourself a favor and go to a different one!! If I could give no stars I would!!
One of the worst Targets around. There is only ever ONE register open, and as a result, an insanely long line for self-checkout. Its a mess and I dont at all blame the employees, who are genuinely kind and attentive. Management needs to stop sitting on their butts and actually help the place function.
I was here a few weeks ago. Had a great shopping trip and was able to find everything I was looking for. Dave in the grocery department was a huge help as I was looking for some organic produce.I am writing this review today because while I was there I must have dropped my card because the Lowell police returned it to me today and said that target had turned it in.I am very thankful for that and wish I knew how to thank them for doing such a good deed.
Love Target. 🤗The staff are nice, friendly, and helpful. The store is always clean and organized thank you target. Keep up the excellent work. 😊🌸🎀👍.
It is a good store. Pretty clean. The employees are kind. You can get your groceries here as well as some shirts or what have you. The layout is very organized allowing you to locate items effectively.
Just tried Drive Up pickup for the first time. Someone was walking out the door the minute we pulled in and we had a lovely (and quick) experience!
We havent been in the store yet. We get delivery through shipt. Out of the 4 deliveries, they are usually out of 1 or more items but the app still lets you order it. Would appreciate a real-time inventory update on the app.
I am rating my experience with the in store pick up process. I ordered 4 self watering planters on 4/28/21 using the pick up option. My order was processed quickly and I was able to pick up my items within a couple of hours. When I got home I realized one of the planters was broken and I found this to be very disappointing. I expected the employee would check the items and not sell me a broken one. I recommend if you use the pick up option that you check the purchased items before leaving to avoid another trip back to the store. I would have given a 5 star rating if the products were not damaged.
Time saving. Great customer service during curbside pick-up 100% of the time.
They make returning things from a baby shower impossible. Do not buy a gift someone may need to return.
Went to target this morning to get groceries and medication and the rude man with the clipboard refused to let me in(even though I’ve been granted early access before). Explained what it was for and how I was considered high risk as well as fully vaccinated and he said “I don’t care, you still can’t come in”. Looks like it’s time to find a new place to grocery shop at and get my medication sent to another location. I am beside myself on how disrespected I was.
Online selection is good. Store is clean. Order pick-up worked well.
Love the curbside pick up option!
Hit or miss, but today when I came in they didnt have all 3 of the things I came here for. Also had random items all over the place with lots of empty shelves (typical of a store in Lowell)
Jim, one of the employees, helped us Jumpstart out car when we had melting food in the back. Overall a great experience.
On January 23, 2021 at 7:30pm, I was at Starbucks in Target and I am very unsatisfied with my drink. Sorry in advance.. if I’m identifying her race didn’t get her name, but their was an Asian woman taking my order and she literally had me repeat my order 3x, because she wasn’t paying attention. Then got my order wrong and suggested that I ordered it, when I didn’t. If she had pay attention she would’ve wrote down the order correctly. I come to this Starbucks frequently, but tonight service was disappointing and I won’t be coming back. I also forgot to mentioned the drink that they made that was so called the one “I ordered” tasted awful.
Here at 10am. No human cashiers. Massive self check out line. Let’s be civil again!
Wonderful service, both at pickup and in store. Friendly and helpful employees. Only complaint is that its more often than not very busy, and finding parking/navigating the store can be a hassle sometimes.
I love shopping and paying on line. You drive to their pickup spot and they put your order in the trunk.
After i reached the pickup spot, App automatically poped-up a message and selected yes i am here.
The worst Starbucks in the state I would give it a worst rate if I could
Went in for 2 items. Both items were in stock. Plenty of stock.Store wasnt too busy.Cashier was quiet. 1 word answers.Didnt count change back. Which I think is a must for ALL cashiers. Not busy at the registers.
I shop at Target on Plain St. in Lowell MA everyday several times a day and there is one employee who usually works in the dairy isles...every time I approach Cameron for assistance I am greeted with a smile. No matter what he is doing or how busy he may be he stops what he is doing and gives me his undivided attention. If there is something not stocked he. Makes sure he finds it for me. Every employee should be this helpful!
This place has a severe management problem - on Sun 2/28 afternoon, it looked like a store that was closing. Shelves empty, stuff strewn everywhere, palates of boxes all over the place, hardly anyone working. This isnt run like a regular Target - dont even bother with this location; go anywhere else!
They carry stuff for in the house and clothing but for sporting goods like fishing or hiking and stuff they dont have nothing but a water bottle, good stuff at the store if your looking for food and a t shirt to go
1/15/2021 9:50PM (IN RESPONSE to first male cashier with glasses near self check-out lane) It was my first time using the target ap! I had the cashier scan my rewards barcode and then he went ahead and rang up my 4 items which included the most expensive infant formula and so the overall cost was pretty high. I then noticed that I had Target Circle earnings and would like to use it. I wasn’t aware that it had to be activated prior to scanning and so I asked the cashier if he can scan my barcode again to which he refused and said “I CANNOT SCAN IT AGAIN. I WOULD HAVE TO VOID ALL THE ITEMS AND DO IT AGAIN.” I found it shocking that redoing 4 items was a significant hassle. I would also like to add that there was absolutely nobody in line behind me at this time. Unbelievable.
Always has everything I need and many more things I never knew I needed lol
Clean store, helpful staff. No hassle returns.
Ive always enjoyed target. They have what I need.
Manager works late shift and two cashier workers clearly doesn’t know how their price match policy works. Calling corporate and getting their names because they don’t know how to do their job. And also they are trying to price match 3rd parties. Not sorry to say but they have some unprofessional and uneducated individuals working at target plain street Lowell. Takes a lot to have me actually write a review about a place and this was it.
Their cashier is nice and the quality of the products were good.
Excellent customer service provided by Steven. He went out of his way to find an item in the shipment they were unpacking for me which I very much appreciated.
The cashier named JUDY needs to be fired. A worker told me there were many complaints about her as well. Super unprofessional. She yelled at me because I got confused with online pickup and store pickup promotion. I didn’t know there was a difference so a gentlemen who worked there offer to give me $20 in store gift card anyways for my $100 spent on baby items. Judy got upset and said “YOUR GETTING $20 GIFT CARD FOR SOMETHING YOU DID WRONG” so rude. Before that, I even offered to put the items away if anything or go to customer service about it but the gentlemen next to her said it was ok this time. I’m so confused and very embarrassed. I just left my cart there and went home. This happened on Friday, December 4th at 9:00pm.Update***I spoke to the store manager KA and he said that I wasn’t wrong at all. As long it’s from target.com I am able to price match anything even if it says Online pickup only. He said “They just wanted People to learn how to do online pickup because of Covid19”.
The team here doesnt pick up the phone or respond the help request in electronics.
They did some remodeling over by the beauty sections of the store and I went in looking for 3 things where I would normally be able to just go get and get out.. it took me 20 minutes to find 3 things! they should of just kept the isles the way they were I think the remodel is ridiculous, it reminds me of Macy’s beauty department with a bunch of display tables and things everywhere like so annoying and makes it much more unorganized..
I love Target! Its the best store for grocery, clothing, and absolutely seasonal items! The app is great! Target Circle is a fantastic rewards program, too.
Decent target that mostly will have what I need. The place could definitely be more organized and slightly better stocked. Is completely and utterly average.
Rip off charge me twice for toy and said couldn’t do nothing about it will never back it’s better targets than this one anyway
Great location in Lowell, easy to get to and generally well stocked and reasonable prices. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely recommend
Twice now Targets handheld price matching devices have failed to recognize another brick and mortar stores lower prices for the same exact item. Ive worked retail, so yes, Im 100% sure it was the exact same item/model whatever you want to call it and not just some look alike. Even if you can show them the lower price on a screen, they cant price match it if its not in their little hand held device. It seems like an intentional scheme to make more money. Not cool.
The drive up order is so convenient! I love to shop at Target and they just created one more reason for me to come back (especially at these times we living right now).
Online order drove 40 min got to store told me item no longer available. I hate bezos but he has never done anything to me like this before. Don’t use pick up option. And don’t use this target.
I would only recommend it id they use a Red card for the 5% discount.
I love target cause it has everything I need and It has great parking
The pickup was very fast. It was very helpful that I did not have to enter the store during this virus concern.
I love This place!Always has good deals and it’s clean and organized.Staff is very helpful and nice. One of my first choices always :)
It was so much easier ordering & paying for it ahead of time, and then just pick it up at the service desk. It made the entire experience so faster than it usually would having to find the item fight the crowds to get to that section of the store and then wait in line at one of the registers to purchase it !
The clerks in electronics, guest service and cashier were so friendly and helpful tonight. Different caliber of sales associates lately. Much more helpful, go out of their way to be friendly. Much better shopping experience.
This Target is overall pretty good but there is a section in the back by the book section that has a ton of boxes in front of it. You can’t look at the stuff on the shelves and it’s stopped me from purchasing things a couple of times. There are some shelves in multiple sections that are frequently lacking organization, such as men’s clothing. It could use some love! But overall it’s like most Target stores with friendly staff and it generally has what I’m looking for.
I mostly go here for my cats treats. There is a flavor of Temptations that I can not find in any place else. I would love to shop there more but I and my daughter can never find any clothes that we like. Also the shoes and pocketbooks/ purses. There needs to be a change in the buyers for these departments!
I love Target, clean, organized with helpful staff, but what I hate is their sale items never ring on the cash register. I now take pictures of sale items I bought so I can show to the cash register person and they are very nice in adjust the price for me. This happen ask the time that I start to think Target does this on purpose because if you dont watch it, you end up paying full price. I want the corporate to see this and to do something about it. With that, I still love Target!
Easy and lightning fast service. Thanks.
Honestly I go here a lot as its close to where I live. That being said with everything going on and me having a lot of health issues I have to say Ive been worried going in to any store. But I needed essentials, so this morning I walk in and I have my gloves on and such and I go to grab a basket and the lovely woman who was sanitizing the carts yelled wait let me clean that first. I was very thankful that she was willing to stop what she was doing to do that for me. Then with everything being moved and such a lot of things are scattered. With that being said I had to ask where an item was. A few peopl said it might not have been put back out yet and that I can check back at a later time I said oh well and was going to move on with my list, one gentlemen kept looking and found me what I needed and found me before I left the store. I want to say a big thank you to the people cleaning and making sure we all can get what we need in a clean space.
I love target and also this particular location. The staffs are really nice. Also a very clean place.
I really enjoy the choices at this store!! Quality clothing and household goods at reasonable prices. Great selection and even choices to pick up a bite to eat and groceries!!
I changed my mind and would cancel one of my purchases at self-service lane. But the Asian lady named Kim, who is supposed to stay at this lane, just disappeared. I spoke out a few times and pushed the service button in the machine but nobody came to help me. But when two white customers came this Asian lady kim just came out and started to help them. I complained this to the manager whose name is Chris. He did not show any way to help me. He only wanted me to leave and even called the police to push me out. I got bad service first and I needed an apology but Target just forced me out? I think Target is going to shut down soon based on the worst service. I would not shop at Target anymore too. I called the headquarter of Target to get an fair answer. I need an apology from Chris and Kim.
Stuff you need at a low price!!Right on target 🎯
Add more self check out. You have 14 registers and 3 open with so many people waiting in line. Every time I go here its starting to remind me of Walmart. Thats why I dont go to that store anymore.
I come here at least once a week for almost anything. Particularly home goods, they have a variety of items and the location is convenient. Right off exit 4 on the Lowell Connector or Plain Street if youre local.
Target has almost everything you need and better stuff and great deals
The store was fully stocked and had everything I was looking for and more per usual Target!! The store associates were visible and helpful.
I made my order online 2 days ago, I’ve payed already, I’ve received a confirmation email about the delivery and I’m still waiting my items that never I’ve received. I’m calling to customer services and the waiting time online is 1 hour so I can’t talk with @Target 2 days trying
I love target and also this particular location. The staffs are really nice. Also a neat place.
The online app works great and every time I go there the customer service is great.
They lack in customer service I been calling to see if I left my wallet at the store and they pick up and then put me on hold and then the phone angs up thank you very much yall need more training please ...
The website is absolute TRASH AND NOTHING IN IT IS CORRECT but the store it self is not bad neither amazing
This was a pretty standard Target. We went here because an item we were looking for was out of stock at our normal Target. The location is good though .
Easy to find. And love the trend
Best toy selection around. Always 1-2 customer associates in department available to help find items or answer questions. Same in every department. Well spaced, no crowed areas, clean up and friendly
2 stars for convenience and they usually have what I’m looking for in stock.Otherwise, this place is a disaster. The shoe department is a mess (though to their credit most targets are), the food storage area is in complete disarray and the sports section is all over the place (as are many other areas of the store). Another person commented that there are return carts all over the place and they are right.Good for a quick in and out but if I need to shop and browse I’ll head to Nashua.
Customer service at the Lowell store was excellent. Went to this store to exchange a damaged toy because they were the only store with a new one in stock for forty miles. Replacement toy had a damaged clip, but management allowed us to replace the broken clip with the working clip from the original (heavily damaged) item and provided the tools to do so. Kudos for having management that can see solutions outside the box.
Love this Target. Always well stocked. Excellent sales people. Very clean. Cant be beat.
Really cool place to get simple things. I also see a lot of my friends working their which is really cool to be honest
Came in on Saturday morning and the store seemed hectic. Some managers should not just stand around drinking Starbucks while this is happening. Went to electronics and there was only one person working there, she seemed super busy with all of the carts around and phone ringing but when I got a chance to ask for help she was very nice. Found exactly what I needed. I asked for her name if I could remember I think it was tavey. Thank you tavey! I advise you put another person there to help, she looked stressed out. Assuming it’s her boss, they walked by her and said “there’s more work in the back.” Be nicer to your employees. looked like she was about to just leave. Least you can do is ask her nicely. - a store manager in Boston
Its like most stand alone Targets. Has a CVS pharmacy, Starbucks, and a mini Pizza Hut inside. Very convenient for local residents. Moderate traffic so youre really not waiting that long in lines.
One of my favorite Targets! This store is more organized than most Ive seen. They have a starbucks and a pizza hut inside which are bonuses. Shopping here is enjoyable.
I love target, but this one is always a mess. Lately, there are carts full of returns all over the store all day long, blocking shelves, and with no one actively working on them. Im always having to move carts full of junk and sorting through piles of stuff on shelves.
Alright so basically last week i went to target to purchase some hand moisturizer. When i arrived i asked for help from an employee, they seemed more concerned with examining my toes than helping me (i was wearing my favorite opened toed shoes). After i was violated by this rude employee i went to find the moisturizer on my own. On my way to the moisturizer my child saw the legos and wanted me to buy them for him. I couldnt purchase them at this time so i told him no. HE started screaming very loud and the toe inspecting employee came over and beat my child to death. 3 stars for good hand moisturizer.
The lady at the cash register was super rude, yelled at me twice because apparently I wasn’t the next one in line when my lilttle sister was in line for me meanwhile I was looking for some gift cards, deny to cash me out until the “next person” that was in line came. This is my second time At this location and both times I have had a horrible experience. Unprofessional and disrespectful to the max. I felt really embarrassed, I chose not to say anything to her and not cause a problem because it’s Christmas Eve, but am not pleased am not coming back to this location I rather drive the extra miles.
I love Target and shop a lot in their other locations. Unfortunately, my last experience at this store was less than perfect. We bought one of their most expensive air beds and took it for a camping trip the following day, I woke up with a soar back because the air bed leaked air and when I tried to return it as a failed and defective product, the staff was less than cooperative and refused to take it back. I had the item in its original packaging with a receipt and the only thing they could offer me for my $140 purchase was an exchange. They claim it is in their store policy and some State law and I find the whole thing to be BS.The lesson here, if you need to buy an air mattress, buy it elsewhere like Amazon where they will gladly replace it because they stand behind their merchandise unlike Target.
Went to target this afternoon, all the employees are usually very helpful and polite. I guess today was Rude unhelpful employee day. I asked simple questions to find things and the first lady tried to ignore me and the second employee was so busy trying to get around me he just sent me somewhere no where near what I was looking for . Apparently I shouldnt go there on Fridays. Sad I usually love it there, but Ill bring my bussiness else where.
Good location but they are never consistent with staffing and keeping the store clean. Staff is mostly just okay but many seem like they could care less about you. The Starbucks is nice but again with staffing being a problem.
Pretty well stocked and organized store. Staff are generally nice to. Food court can be a bit dirty.
Has been a good store for years. It does a better job maintaining stock than a lot of other locations. Ever since they added self-checkout and reduced cashiers, it takes 15 mins to pay and leave. It turns out most shoppers make terrible cashiers. What makes it worse is that the size of a shift seems to mean they have no way to meet a change in demand. Every employee Ive interacted with at this location has been skilled, courteous, and helpful. There just seems to be too few of them.
Good prices, convenient and lots of selection, including food items. Slow check-out lanes sometimes.
Efficient service. great products
Work here, its a pretty nice Target with a hard working team. Decent regular prices but good deals.
If you go to the Lowell store there’s a guy in the back near electronics his name is PJ great kid, always helps me find everything and goes out of his way to make sure I’m all set. EVERYTIME 👍🏻 Tell him Taz sent u
I gave it 3 stars because I love Target but this store and its employees are a different story. Everyone is blatantly on their phone. Bad customer service
Usually pretty well stocked and well kept in my opinion, and I personally have found the staff to be always friendly and nice, especially on the checkout lines. I see some negative reviews for their customer service, but that has definitely not been my experience and I go there pretty often.
Not the best target, but its convenient
The customer service is here is excellent
This is the only target in my area and it is so convenient.
This location has a starbucks for those who are interested. The store itself is nice as well. Located in a strip mall area near a Marshalls, Five Below, 5-7-9, China Buffet, etc.
Online impossible to add a new credit card. Very frustrating.
