Ive been trying to change my diet.And eat more plant base,and what little meat I eat all organic, after shopping there a cpl of times I see I really can eat mostly the same things,either plant base or organic, I personally love the place

My wife loves to shop here. She buys things I absolutely do not understand, like cocao (which apparently is not just cocoa misspelled), coconut aminos (no clue), and potatoes chips made out of things that are not actually potatoes. I can buy pretty much anything and its a big hit with her, even though I dont know what I bought. Its apparently all very healthy. If I leave without spending $50, I consider it a victory.There are bulk chocolate covered raisins. I know what those are and they are delicious.

Absolutely love this market! They have the best variety of allergen-friendly options and a lot of really unique grocery items. They also have the friendliest staff!

Some things are a bit pricier compared to other stores or online. But I love the selection of things they have and love having something local where I can get products that I use and trust.

I love everything about this store. I could go on for paragraphs about why, but today it’s because I’m so grateful that they have my best health in mind. As I shopped Monday, a woman and her daughter came in without masks on, as people seem to be doing all over. The owner approached them as such, and they left. This meant so much to me! I was one of those “I’m not doing that” people too, until a friend explained the importance of wearing masks, not for ourselves but for others. I understand now that a mask can’t keep you safe, but if we’re carriers and don’t know it, they keep others safe. I’ve not been tested, so I wear a mask. Yes, it’s inconvenient and uncomfortable, but I’m willing to protect others, and it’s not forever, just till the crisis dies down. Thank you Choices for being awesome and for looking out for your customers!

This is a place where you buy all natural food, medicine 💊 and lots of ingredients.

I was not pleased today when a shopper who had her mask under her nose was not asked to put it on correctly. She was hard to avoid as she stood in the produce aisle forever, then shopped in the bulk food aisle for a long time. The staff said they are not supposed to say anything to shoppers that arent following safe mask usage. Usually I love shopping here, but not today.

Large selection of organic and gluten free products. You can bring your own containers to fill in the bulk foods section. I purchased some Beyond Meat burgers to try. The owner was on site and friendly and helpful. Love the store. Hope to be back soon.

This store is awesome! Many, many healthy and organic food options. Staff is extremely helpful! I was looking for marrow bones and they went back in their meat locker area and found some for me! 😊 Organic is a little pricey, but so worth it for your health! Worth the trip!

Lovely store with staff devoted to customer service. As soon as you walk in it smells nutritious! Great selection of vitamins & snack/meal bars. I love their bulk section of spices! You must try their fresh peanut & almond butters! Come here and support a local business with real people taking care of their family, doing what they love and sharing it with their community. Dont come here & complain that you can get it cheaper on Amazon etc. They have tons of sales, they sometimes have coupons at the counter, a loyalty card that always gives you a discount, they do their best to give discounts/coupons when they can. I am happy to have Choices so close to home!

Helpful staff and one of the best selections of natural and organic items out there! Some of the merchandise is a bit pricey, but you really do get the best of the best as far as a selection goes. Great granola selection here as well!

So very excited to find this store!! Reminds me of a mini version of my favorite San Francisco grocery store, Rainbow Foods. They had many items Ive been unable to find anywhere else locally. And its clean and well organized, and awesome staff!!

Great store with similarities to that of whole foods! They have a great gluten free section and wonderful herbs of all sorts. This is really a pleasure in Rockford and a much needed, yet underrated one at that. Staff is always quick to help and nothing I could think to complain about! Thanks for the great service!

Wonderful selection of hard-to-find natural and organic products. The people are extremely helpful, and love spending time talking with you, giving advice if you would like. They have holistic products I even have trouble finding on the internet, so they REALLY put a lot of effort into bringing the best products to the customer. And if you dont see it, they will get it for you. Great local produce, meats, organic bulk food items, vitamins, prepared lunch items, and even organic beers. The new location was designed with a really inviting atmosphere too. I just cant say enough about this store. Easily the best of its kind in the area.

Staff is not the friendliest. Maybe because Im a person of color thats the impression I got. Also the prices seem a bit High compared to what you could get at the Vitamin Shoppe, or GNC. But some of their items are good and necessary I think in the organic world. But for the most part theyre just exotic and something different and you can probably get similar products somewhere else at a more reasonable price. Kenny

I shop here multiple times a week. I have been a customer for years. They know me by name. I was asked to leave today for not wearing a mask. I can not wear a mask due to a medical condition. I explained and she said its not us its the health department they made it a law everyone has to wear one. I had just come from several privately owned business who were choosing to not enforce said protocol. It is 100% their right to refuse service to anyone they want. They need to accept responsibility for it though and not lie and say that its the health department not them. That simply isnt true and I refuse to have my rights violated. The owner made several excuses even acussing me of thinkingvmy health is more important than others just because I have underlying condition. I believe peoples right and freedom are the most important thing. I believe in america and patriotism. A lady inside applauded me when she heard what was going on and said way to stand up for yourself and what is right

As out of town guests visiting for day, we were thankful to get needed items. Highly recommend for those who prefer quality, natural Choices.

A good selection of natural and organic foods, many items from local organic farmers. Some items are pricey, yet some are actually less than another store in town. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly, making Choices a fun place to visit. Not for the Walmart shoppers, you get what you pay for! Keep up the great work!

Upgraded to 5 star review because owner takes time to answer reviews, I posted my review less than a week ago and that means they care about their customers, and are wanting to improve.. We go to Choices because my daughter is allergic to dairy and Choices has some of the only food she can eat. They have a wide variety of organic foods, most of which you cant find anywhere else, and the store is set up nicely. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and so we are regular customers. Sometimes the prices are a bit high but as it is a small health store, Im sure it is not cheap to source their goods. They give a discount with the loyalty card, sometimes the discount is quite large. I once saved $15 off a $50 order.

Choices is awesome. Its really an asset for this town. Full of natural herbs, medicine, and house supplies. Their food selection is good, and they do a good job keeping out GMOs and other toxins. Gluten free selection is great. Theyve always taken care of us if weve had a problem with something. The staff is always there and helpful and knowledgeable, especially Stephanie.This is my go-to place for healthy food and supplements. Truly an asset. Have no idea what the hemp guy is talking about - Ive never smelled anything funny at the store.

Lots of hard to find vegan options but a touch pricey,,, good thing I love food.

This place is great for those people that love in the Rockford area and dont have the opportunity to travel to Whole Foods or Trader Joes, or Marianos.Its small, but easy to find everything you need—great organic food...BUT a bit over priced compared to when I get my groceries at Whole Foods.Ex: Calm Powder at Whole Foods, about 18$. Here, about 23-26$. Like really?Or the kale prices, or etc. Thats the only ring Im unhappy about. Other then that, greatly happy that organic food is available for the area.

I contacted the store through an email to ask if they accepted EBT as a form of payment and if they had a specific baby formula in stock. They responded the next day and I love the fact that they do accept EBT and they do have the organic baby formula. Baby’s Only Toddler Formula is the brand and be aware that the label says “toddler” the manufacturer claims that this is only because they suggest breastfeeding for babies under 1 year old. It has nothing to do with ingredients, and its suitable for newborns. Baby’s Only Organic Dairy Formula has some of the best organic ingredients on the formula market. They stay true to the strict standards of organic regulations and don’t take any shortcuts to save money or time for their customers. So because this formula can be used from day one until well into toddler years without having to worry about different stages of formula. The store carries 3 different kinds as far as right now; dairy with DHA/ARA, lactose sensitive, and a soy plant based one. I want to try the whey one with DHA/ARA because it’s closest to breastmilk but their distributors don’t carry that one as far as right now. So if you want to get your baby a good organic formula then go with Baby’s Only and get it from here if you don’t want to order it online. You can even order cases of the ones they do carry and they come in cases of six, you just have to prepay for them in store. Maybe if they sell more baby formula, their distributors will get the whey version of the formula for store stock! They were extremely friendly and their store is small but really organized and cute! Haha

Beautiful store, great selection of organic, natural, and health foods and vitamins, supplements.... vegetables, dairy, frozen, you name it.... and they have great sales frequently. friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Go to Kauffmans General Store. You can get most of the same things at a much lower price, and probably more authentically organic.

I have only been to the store once, but they had plenty of the specialty food I was looking for. I am lactose intolerant, gluten free, and allergic to peanuts (this getting old stuff is for the birds). Their selection was the best I have seen for my issues and the prices were comparable to the bigger grocery stores. I plan on returning for more groceries in the future.

This place has wonderful items but is ridiculously expensive. Turmeric is 19.99 per pound. That is outrageous. The essential oils were overly priced and the store lacked variety in sizes for the essential oils, to accommodate those who did not want to spend an arm and a leg.

I love this place so much. I went to the old location not realizing it had moved since I had been out of town for college. I was so relieved to find out they relocated to a much better location with a larger space. I thought they had went out of business and was so bummed out. One thing the area lacks is a whole foods but this place is a nice mini whole foods. So glad of the variety. So many products I would have to order online but am happy to find them here.

Small store, but excellent service and plentiful choices. Good organic bread, eggs, cheese, milk, ginger ale, salads, salad dressings, ... Ice creams and desserts are also great. Strongly recommend this place for healthy and organic selection.
