This little gem is rather unassuming from the outside - especially because it is a little tricky to get to from the busy intersection however once you walk in - what a selection! They have a wide range of eclectic beers - from seasonal, to imported, domestic, microbrews and everything in between! Best of all, if they don’t have it, their employees go above and beyond to try to get the beverage you are looking for! It’s a down-to-earth local store where you get the feeling everyone knows you by their first name. They have all sorts of different liquors and liqueurs, as well as a pretty impressive wine selection from all corners of the world including a rather magnificent and curious vintage collection. This was my first visit to the store, but won’t be my last!

Friendly and beautiful staff 😍 a bit expensive w/10%-15% more than Daveco liquors or Apple Jacks liquor but convenient for their area. I guess it depends on how far one is willing to drive to stock up? 🤔 🍻 Cheers 🇬🇧

Without doubt one of the rudest customer service experiences of my life. I was on a walk and I wanted a pop— so I walked in to just grab one. Where I am from, a liquor store is essentially a convenience store— so I thought buying a pop would be no problem. When I got to the counter the woman working there treated me like trash, and I was very kind and upbeat to her. If I want to buy a pop at this store, I have every f$&@ing right to do so. Do not look down on me because I am not buying liquor. So upset by this experience.

The only place I can find a special candy bar in Louisville. Its called a. Mr. Dot Bar, dark chocolate with pretzels and bits of toffee. Absolutely delicious, I go for my chocolate bar after I visit my medical supply store.

I loved this liquor store. They have a wide variety to choose from and cool decor. Got myself some Bells Christmas Ale, which I have been looking for for weeks.

Ive been here a couple of times. Their prices are on the high side and the counter help isnt what Id call friendly or helpful. The last time I was there, I picked up a six pack of a Stone IPA. When I opened one it tasted off, then I saw that it was well past its expiration date.I called the store and asked what I should do. Since I no longer had a receipt: It was, I gambled, I lost. I understand that I should have checked the bottles before I purchased them. So Im willing to shoulder the blame, but youd think theyd be better about checking their stock.However, Superior Liquor is not that much more of a drive. Theyre very customer oriented. Their cashiers and clerk are always pleasant, professional and helpful. Their prices are better than Union Jack. They even love my dog. Hes welcome in the store and they give him cookies!I havent been back to Union Jack since.

Nice selection. Usually helpful staff. Except on Sundays when I suppose they wanted to close early & made it clear somewhat curtly. Sunday hours are listed until 6pm but I showed up at 5:05. Doors locked. Cash being counted & an angry scowl was all the explanation. However, the liquor store across from King Sooper was very helpful. Maybe try there first.

Its a nice convenient location for me and they have a unique London themed ambiance vibe with a map of the subway system and an authentic red British phone booth, plus they usually have a coupon on the back of my King Soops receipt for 10% off any single item which saves me a little coinage on a nice bottle of wine or Crown Royal XR.

I recently moved to Louisville with my boyfriend and we have been going here for all our liquor needs. I called about delivery today and the person that answered the phone seemed fluttered and forgot to mute the phone while discussing with their coworker. I could obviously hear them and they didn’t seem happy that I was calling about delivery. After discussing with their coworker, the person was extremely rude to me and in a hurry. I understand that businesses get busy, but if you’re someone who gets fluttered easily or takes frustration out on costumers maybe this isn’t the business for you to be in.

Best selection around. You have to go all the way to boulder or longmont to find a better selection of wines and liquor.

Used to be one of my preferred liquor stores, purely because I enjoy the London underground themed decor, it has no other discerning qualities that make it better or worse than any other liquor store of similar size.But Im disappointed to say they dont seem to be taking the pandemic seriously enough. I went in today looking to stock up my depleted alcohol supply and I was hardly two steps in the door when I saw at least two people without masks. Because of where they were standing and the direction they were facing Im reasonably sure at least one was an employee. I turned around immediately and I dont imagine Ill be back.Its a small and rather closed in store, and if they arent even bothering to enforce mask wearing with employees then I doubt they enforce it with customers. Not a safe place.There is no good reason to be without a mask in an enclosed space outside of your own home. Im very disappointed.

Came in because theyre the only place in town that sells Calvados. They were out, but said more would be in stock shortly. Polite, laid back staff who seemed like they were having a good time. Happy employees means decent management, usually. Good selection of wine and spirits from what I could see.

Wonderful selection of beers. Not massive, but whats there is well thought out and varied. One of the best whiskey selections out there. Staff are always helpful and know more than enough to give great suggestions and advice.

I used to shop here, but March 2020 they posted the words Thanks China on their large outdoor sign. I have not been back since.They did post a sign a couple of weeks later apologizing.Regardless I give them two stars because they have a very nice selection and are open most of the day, yet I cannot forget or abide blatant intentional xynophobia.

I used to visit more often when I lived closer but I still stop in if Im driving by. They have a wide selection of beer wine and liquor.

A surprising selection with solid prices even if its a smaller shop. Easy to get in and out. Numerous coolers for bombers, 6/12 packs, wide variety of whiskey and wine and even some sales. I was surprized and will definitely stop in again

The workers have almost always been really easygoing and professional. I would prefer a better selection in the Mix A Six pack area, but outside of the single beers there, the overall selection is really fantastic.

Very friendly folks here. Happy to give you directions if you refuse to use GPS. Also great spot to find a Merlot. I imagine they have every other kind of alcohol as well, LOL. And of course my favorite, bottled water.

Good selection, low prices and the staff is knowledgeable. If you dont see what youre looking for just ask one of the employees, theyll look it up for you on their computer. Beer is always being put in different coolers, so always ask if you dont find what youre looking for.

They sell liquor.3/19/20 Edit: In light it the recent, absurd accusations of racism and hate crimes, I decided to edit my review. This small local business has been in the community for many years. Mistake or not, freedom of speech is one of the greatest rights we have as Americans. The owner had apologized and removed the racist sign. Elitest virtue signaling is getting out of control, and people are forgetting that these people are our neighbors. I will continue to shop at and support this local business as long as I live in the area.

This place has the best wine selection! They also switch up the sales in wines quite often so you can always try something new for a good price! This is a double edged sword however, because a couple of months ago I bought and expensive wine that was on sale and got myself addicted to it. Now that the sale is over, I spend overly too much money buying a bottle once or twice a week!

Posted a sign saying “thanks China” in their street sign. With the price being 14.88 which are know numeric hate symbols.It’s extremely disappointing to see this

Convenience and good prices is what this place has to boast. Getting into and out of the store is sometimes difficult depending on weather and traffic so good to plan that well. Otherwise selection is great and service is nice too.

Im here visiting from out of town and came up to Union Jack to get a bottle of Jack Daniels. Their credit card machines went down, which isnt a big deal because nobody can control that, but two guys came in after me and I somehow was served last. I did customer service for 10 plus years and I can tell you that was terrible customer service. You should always help the person who got there first. I didnt appreciate being checked out last after having to wait longer than either of the two people who came in after me. You guys really need to work on your customer service skills.

Tried this place because of a coupon I had on the back of my grocery receipt. Picked a few things out and then they wouldn’t accept my coupon because the items I picked were popular, and they only wanted to discount items that didn’t sell as fast. The coupon says nothing like that. Just seemed like a made up rule.

Its pretty small, although they pack in a surprising amount. Prices tend to be on the high side, Ill usually only stop in when their sign advertises a sale on something that sounds good.
