Friendly staff and very helpful .me & my husband went and we had so much fun there:) we will come back for sure. 1/2 hour for $14 and an hour for $20 you can pick the Gun and you have to buy the bolt and the target

Had a great experience even though they were having some staffing issues, it was as soon as they opened though so they were working on it and got it resolved quickly.Came back a week later to use the range and it was a great experience. The range master was nice but had no hesitation to kick two people out for rapid firing. It felt safe as a public range could feel and I for sure will be back soon.

I thought that the instructor and the class was excellent. The instructor was: blunt and very honest; provided insight on the what happens next if your use your weapon for self defense; kept the class engaging; and answered all question thrown at him. They legal part very the legal part, meaning dry but necessary. I would recommend this class.

Mike, Nick and the guys are awesome! They always have a great amount of inventory. For being a relatively large retailer with locations in many states, the guys in Louisville really make it feel like a hometown gun store. I love going in to see what is new and to chat with the guys. They always make sure that people have a good time and are more than willing to share their knowledge of firearms and the product they have. This Shoot Point Blank location is only 1 of 3 gun stores in the region that I go to and that wont change! Stop in and check them out!!

Ken was very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. He had a ton of stories but it makes one appreciate the fact hes had real-world experiences to draw from. It was a long, but fun, class and I would highly recommend.

I really enjoy Lady Sure Shots! We receive expert instruction (with humor!) and then get to practice under the helpful eye of our instructor. Highly recommend!

Mike weber was awesome, he was very informative and cared much more about my experience at shoot point blank than how much money I spent. He helped me install a red dot sight on my legion and even let me try it out on the spot. I will definitely be back and actually have a couple weapons on my notification list so as soon as one comes in I will certainly return to do some business, but Im sure Ill be back before then.

Would give 10 stars if I could. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and diligent. Learned a lot and will be coming back for other classes as well.

This was the only store in town that had what I was looking for. I filled out the transfer form wrong, I have done that before at other gun stores and they have not made an issue about it (honest mistake). The rep got an attitude and threw the pen down on the counter and told me I would have to fix it, at first he acted like he could not sell me the gun because I made this mistake. I have had other firearms dealers just have me scratch it out and have me date and initial or gave me a new form. He gave me a new form finally after going back and forth. Then when I was checking out I used a prepaid card that did not have a pin number. I tried to explain this to him, he tried to argue with me and tell me the pin number was the security code. Pin numbers arent 3 digits. Someone working a cash register should know this. Then he tried to tell me I was out of luck because it wouldnt go through, finally got the guy to ring it through right. Wont be back.

Instructor was knowledgeable and cool. Was able to make us comfortable with jokes and take the class serious. If I had to take class again would definitely go to Shoot Point Blank again

Top notch instructor. Lots of useful information. I feel comfortable operating my firearm after taking this class. I would highly recommend this class to any first time owner of an AR15.

Shoot Point Blank was a great experience, with the family, Chris was very helpful in the range, especially with my sister who is a first time shooter. He took the time to show her some tactics, and was very patient. He also showed us the way to load, while saving our fingers. Upon leaving, met with Cam, he sold us some additional gear, spending time to show us how it worked, and even installing it. Great staff, very knowledgeable, and lots of guns. Wish I lived closer, highly recommend

The intro to handgun class was great, some common sense things that were a little boring for me but some other things I didnt know but the range portion was really great. After the classroom portion you and the class are taken to the range section and guided in firing your weapon for the first time. It was just the class in the range section, you didnt have Rambo next to you. They give you a large target sheet, show you how to hang it up and use the range buttons to push it out and bring it back. The instructors took their time to help everyone and answer everyones questions. I had a firearm but the folks that didnt easily rented one with ammo with ear and eye protection. I recommended the class and Shoot Point Blank to a friend since they were so great. The prices i felt were very fair and I feel i got a great value coming here and will continue to do so.

I recently went to Shoot Point Blank in Louisville for the first time. Being a brand new shooter and gun owner, I took a basic gun class and we spent time on the range. The facility was amazing. The staff was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable and helped me with technique and suggested corrections. Ken was encouraging and . Highly recommend. I have joined as a member and already gotten the perks like discounts.

Some of the staff have been very rude. Not welcoming. Before I could ask if 9mm was available for sale I was cut off with a quick “no”. I understand there is a national ammo shortage and they probably get asked frequently for ammo they do not have. I understand that is out of their control as well but it’s not my fault either. If this continues I might cancel my membership. I hope not. When I do get help they are very knowledgeable. Facility is top of the line. I feel safe too. Just wish a few staff members weren’t so rude.

I attended a very good class with my wife. She had not background in firearms and also enjoyed the experience.

The AR class was very beneficial. I thought the instructor did a great job. I would highly recommend if you want to familiarize yourself with your weapon before firing.

Outstanding experience! Ken Taylor is a fantastic instructor who kept the class engaged throughout the day. We all learned a lot from him and are well prepared for our CCDW permits. Shoot Point Blank is an awesome facility. Very clean, modern, and well-equipped range and classroom. The store is well-stocked for all your needs.

My husband and I loved Shoot Point Blank! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They also take gun safety very seriously which I greatly appreciate.The lane rentals are very affordable and they have lots of different targets available for purchase. The first time you go it costs $3 per person for the liability form, but that form is good for a year.

I started giving a membership to my Husband a few years back. We continue to renew yearly. Shoot Point Blank is always clean. They do not slack on the rules, so we feel safe . The employees are super friendly and always willing to help and answer questions. We have purchased hand guns and traded in as well. We are confident with the knowledge, and fairness of the prices. Great place to go practice and have a good time.

Bought 3 basic handgun classes for my wife and 2 sister in laws. They had a great time. They cant wait to go to the range again. It took the mystery out of handguns for them and are not afraid of being around them anymore.

Super cool place with big fancy guns that you can rent for less than 20$ (not including ammo) still, awesome! I will definitely go back to do some gun safety courses with my boyfriend & mom! It’s also kid friendly, we brought my 7 y/o brother and he had a good time for the most part!

Kirk did a great job of teaching the class. His part was very informative and enjoyable.The second part of the class, which is out of the teachers control, is like getting your eyes pulled out with a fork! Its a shame that part is mandated.

Shoot Point Blank has quickly become my go to store/range for all my firearms and firearm supplies/needs. The main reason is one of their sales associates, Mike Weber. He is truly the best of the best when it comes to relationship sales. He has helped me out on numerous occasions and always makes the right recommendation. He has a wealth of knowledge and is always eager to help. I have also referred many friends to him and they have all been extremely happy. I would whole heartedly recommend Mike Weber for any and all firearm purchases.

I came in to purchase a firearm that sold before I could make it in. I ended up buying a better firearm and was completely happy with my experience. They seem to have a good selection considering how scarce everything is right now. I went back and shot my new gun there along with my others and had a really good experience. I plan on using them for there gun range and when I try and Buy my first AR-15. The staff is polite and the Store is clean and the Range is really nice as well. I’m even considering getting a membership which will allow me to take free classes in the future. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a nice gun shop and gun range.

The safety officers are first rate. The firing area is one of the safest places on earth. The classes are well-run and reasonably priced. The low light class had more instructors than students to insure the safest environment possible.

Shoot Point Blank staff are knowledgeable and always willing to help. They follow COVID-19 safety precautions as well as all the usual gun safety rules. Membership is well worth it, especially if you plan to visit at least twice a month.

Staff ignored me for 20 minutes. Not a single hello how are you be with you in a minute just a moment can I help you nothing. Staff help people that arrived after I did. I even made eye contact with two of their staff members and was ignored. Finally I just walked out without saying anything. This was my first time being in your building and I will not be returning and I will not be recommending that anyone come here.

Best range in the city of Louisville. Staff always open to conversation and helping when they can. I visit about three times a month facility is always clean range bays alwasy clean most importantly SAFETY seems to be top priority for this range. Each month I Gladly pay my membership!

I use the Louisville store. Staff is great, friendly and knowledgeable! The teaching staff is great especially Ron. I took his class for my ccdw license and he makes the class interesting, so your not falling asleep, and knows what hes talking about highly recommend any teacher for any class here!

For the most part this is an excellent place. Very clean and professional. I am a current member and like the benefits of membership here. The staff (with the exception of a few) are eager to help and courteous.

I’m not much on giving reviews, but I was highly disappointed with one of the store managers this afternoon. I called the day before to see if they had a certain firearm in stock. They said they did, and gave me the price. I then asked if they priced matched. They said yes they do it all the time, as long as the item is in stock and relatively local.Today, I went to purchase the firearm. I walked in, found the gun, and told the employee what I wanted and I was ready to start the paperwork. I then double checked if I could still price match. He said yes, and that he had to get his manager over to verify it. The manager came over and I showed him the firearm that I wanted to price match from KY Gun Co’s website on my phone, and that the item is in stock and $35 cheaper. He wouldn’t even look at it. He told me he had to look it up for himself. So I said okay. 5 seconds later, he came back and he said he didn’t have time to look it up, and he isn’t going to price match it. He told me pretty rudely that I just need to go buy it from Ky gun Co and then walked away. I really wished I ripped the paperwork up and walked out after that. I know $35 bucks isn’t a big deal but that’s still a couple boxes of ammo or a holster or something. It is due to the lack of customer service. This is the first bad experience I had ever had with with them. All the other employees were great. I just really hope corporate will see this and speak with the manager that I interacted with.

First time shooter, went with very experienced owners. I would say the sales people applied appropriate amounts of service to the guests present, recognizing the experienced shooters and being more pragmatic, recognizing new shooters and being accommodating. This operation works hard to care for all types of owners and makes you feel as safe and approachable as needed. Great joint, highly reccomend.

I have made purchases from this store on two occasions now and, in my opinion, it is the best weapons store in the area. Very helpful, welcoming and professional staff, especially Nick. He puts you at ease with his enthusiasm, knowledge and absolute “customer focused” service demeanor. I’m a collector so will be back to make more purchases.

Great experience. The team went over and above what was expected. They even stayed late one night to accommodate our schedule. Very impressed. Will return for every fire arm purchase. No doubt. Also makes for a great date night!

Good lighting, ventilation, and have bottom shelf for supplies. Friendly staff and Range officers that are always present in lanes. Members are treated great. Firearms are a little more expensive than others, but good shot you can take home what you want since they have most everything. Just wish a big name like this had electric targets. Set your distance and it goes to that exact spot.

Great place. Courteous & Knowledge staff, classes are a positive atmosphere and well paced to learn about your weapons and how to handle them. Always clean restrooms & good air filtration system on the range. They have a wide selection of guns to purchase and also to rent. The membership makes it easy to shoot (express lane) and if you shoot multi times a month the $ & other perks are great. Always a good time at the range...

This will probably be the store I buy guns from. They have a wide variety of weapons to choose from, and the prices are honestly the best youre going to find anywhere. They dont jack up the prices like other private owned gunships. They also have very cheap ammo as well. Before the pandemic times u could buy a box of 20 223 brass for $7 a box!! And 50 rounds of 9mm for 20. The staff is also very friendlly, and the range goes out to about 30 years and is always very clean.

A great and very safety conscious place to shoot. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the equipment is basic but very functional. Particularly like that the ventilation system keeps the firing bays smoke free. Shoot Point Blank keeps a good supply of firearms and related needs.

Went here today for the first time. I can say was very disappointed. I have been looking for a Taurus Judge for a while. 99% of staff was helpful but over by the a staff asked again if he could help me I asked him how often they get the Judge in stock because it’s seems hard to find them. He looked confused and said if we get one we sell it right away. I then asked about the public defender in the case. The staff member then said yeah that’s the public defender and walked away and asked another customer if they could help them. I was prepared the make a purchase even though it’s $30-$35 higher, just because they had it in stock. I will not buy from this business. I will wait until another place has it in stock

The 1st time I have ever been to a indoor shooting range and I had questions all of which was answered in a professional manner and they listened to me and didnt judge me and made sure I understood everything I had ask. Their customer service is amazing! Nathan P. was outstanding in his knowledge and helped me get the best accessories, his product knowledge is amazing! We took our girls back over the second visit and let them shoot and they LOVED their experience. Everyone is SO NICE its definitely a GREAT place to go! We look forward to going back. Its definitely worth getting a membership!

Not a good experience. I spoke with a manager requesting that my sons membership be cancelled and they said that I cannot cancel unless it is through the website. I told the manager my situation with the website not coming up and he said he would take care of it. I just checked my account and they withdrew from my account. Great customer service...….

As a member of shoot point blank and trying the many locations Dylan has a great store on his hands! Shawn F. Is an absolute Einstein with guns and definitely knows his business. If you have questions or issues talk to these 2 and they will definitely square you away. Thanks fellas for keeping the wife and I good to go!

I been to this facility many times. Every time I’ve been there I was greeted by one of the staff and asked if I needed help finding anything. The range is top notch. Tables available to reload mags and a range officer keeping everyone safe.My buddies and I try to go at least once a month and on my birthday they sent me an email for a free hour range time. Sign up for emails on sales and specials. Ammo prices are good too!!!Ok... just go and find out for yourself!

I love this place!!The staff is awesome, they have a lot of Glock, 1911, S&W & AR accessories. I also bought an AR here not too long ago & it was a very easy process!💯

Excellent place for learning and practice. Easy to find and parking is a great. Employees are the best and very friendly and helpful. Plenty of supplies and rentals. Purchase new and used items. Excellent staff and selection. Everyone loves the sport of shooting and it shows. I took a training course and the fee was extremely fare and the instructor was knowledgeable and engaging (Rodney). Sales staff will take the time to help you select a weapon for your personnel requirements. Unlike most junk email I receive, their twice weekly specials are pretty good.

During these crazy times nobody in the entire state had any Glock G19’s. Point Blank had one and let me know. Held it for me and I was out the door is not time at all. I had been a customer of another gun store. Not anymore. I’ll never go anywhere else. Thanks Nathan.

Great place to shoot. Had my birthday party there group of 10 mostly first time shooters. Our dedicated instructor(Brian) had his hands full. He was great!! Very patient and got us on track. My sister who was scared to shoot at first is now ready to go again. Autumn got us all checked in. She was awesome dealing with a group that big. Cant wait to go back.
