I took my necklace in for the lobster claw hook to be replaced for my daughter. This was a thick heavy chain and they replaced the necklace with a lighter weight thinner chain. Even the size of the claw hook is smaller in comparison. The chain we had almost filled the pendent bail and this chain is so thin in comparison with lots of room around it. Had I known they are crooked I would have made sure to have weighed my chain and had it weighed in front of me when I picked it up too. I am an honest person and expect others to be also. I am too trusting in people. Please learn from my mistakeAnswers to your questions1) no I did not say anything at the time I picked it up. Honest people as myself do not think of dishonest actions of others to think this was a possibility and that I needed to even check. I had it fixed for my daughter as part of her Christmas Gift and it was not realized until she put the charm on after Christmas. (note when I was there I checked into buying a replacement instead of having it fixed and she made reference that gold costs was up, my guess that is why my heavier larger necklace was switched with a lighter smaller weight necklace) sad!2) Yes I did call and the Lady stated she was the manager, I stated the above and she asked why I waited so long to call. I stated it was a Christmas gift. She said I can bring it in and we can look into it. Not sure what that is supposed to mean as it was not explained. My daughter had her baby premature and baby was in the NICU. My mom was and still is in the hospital and finding a 2nd cancer that has metastasized, my plate is entirely too full to come in to have a confrontational conversation. I avoid confrontation as much as possible.This review was written to hopefully help prevent this happening to anyone else.

Matthew showed patience and took the time to answer all of my questions (through phone calls as well as in store) which started about 1 month before I made my purchase. They are helpful and nice. They will give you a loan on your gold, just need ID. Helps when you are in a pinch. I have been many times and I trust them with my gold. Best one in town.

The best experience ever. Me and my grandmother went in to try to get her rings off and honestly I forgot the gentlemens name that assisted us but he was the most genuine kindess guy and help us in the upmost fashion. He explained he would have helped her but didnt want to put more pain on her, even gave her money to get her to the nearest hospital for her to get it cut off which was very sweet. He refreshed my soon to be husband grandfathers ring at no charge. Just an all around great guy. I will be back for sure for any of my jewelry needs. Give that man a raise

I’ve spent thousands in deprez over the last few years. Came in today to sell a white gold necklace. The worker tested it and it checked out. The owner wouldn’t even make me an offer on my necklace, just passed on it completely. Won’t spend another dollar with them after that

You will not find a bigger selection of jewelry anywhere else! They have everything! It seems like a small place and the parking lot is super tight, but the selection inside is unbelievable! The staff have always been courteous and helpful. The prices are very reasonable. This is my go to pawn shop!

I give it one star because 0 isn’t a option. Went there to pawn a $400.00 dollar watch because I was out of gas and funds and they wouldn’t help. Also brought in brand new good tools and he told me he only accepts the Gerber brand. Really?? That’s a terrible business plan to be so narrow minded, especially in a a pawn shop where all sorts of items can come through the door. Sounds like the dude from joe dirt who only sold snakes and sparklers because he liked them the best. Terrible pawn shop

Feel like we were treated professionally. Wanted to sell some jewelry, this was the 2nd stop at a pawn shop. The other place didnt offer nearly as much as DePrez.

This place is a RIP OFF!! I brought in a 18k gold ring weighing 20 grams and has 14 1/2 diamonds in it and the owners Daughter told me that they dont buy Diamonds, they only buy gold. She has the audacity to offer me $100 to buy my ring. That was a slap in the face. I took it to the Oxmoor Mall and had it appraised and they offered me $3,200. There is a huge difference between $100 insult and athe true value of $3,200. I will NEVER go back to there establishment and I will make sure everyone I know doesnt either.

If youre not Cuban or such they dont offer to help you..wow..
