That sums it up.This place is a gem, they have hard to find items and super staff, I needed some rubber gasket material and I walked into this place, was greeted, and they took me right to it!The store front really doesnt show how large this place is, it has two floors!Prices were reasonable and they had such a good selection of hard to find items.

Awesome Weber Grill. Great pricing and free delivery. The grill is really nice, took guys over two hours to set up & get going. This is my 3rd Weber from Brownsboro, everyone was very polite & helpful from ordering with Doug to the install guys. Fantastic!

Went here to buy a new Weber grill because they had it in stock and Lowes and Home Depot had to order and ship it. Boy, are we glad we did. Not only was it the same price as those big stores, but they assembled it, delivered it and hauled our old heavy massive gas grill away for FREE! The gentleman who delivered the grill even took a few minutes to show me how to use the new grill. Where can you find that kind of customer service these days? Why shop at those big chain stores when you can support local shops and get better service? Ill shop here when I need hardware from now on!

They ok but didnt have what I was looking for

Just bought a new propane Weber 400-series (large!) because we needed more grill space. I grill several times a week, no matter if its 100 degrees or 10 degrees and snowing. Ive used this grill 6-7 times since BH delivered it 2 weeks ago (just grilled over 50 drumsticks at a time on Saturday!). Amazing grill to replace my 11 year old Weber 300-series.The BH folks are great. Since its a larger grill, they had to order it and said it would take 3 weeks to arrive and perhaps another week to get an install/remove old grill appointment. No problem - the old one still worked and it was worth waiting in order to support such a great local business. BUT - It arrived and was installed in less than FIVE days (ordered late Thursday, and installed Tuesday!). Wahoo! The BH folks are easy to work with and know their products. They came out and hauled off the old rust-bucket (but still functional!) grill and had this one running and tested in no time. Cant ask for better than that. Price was the same as online and other outlets, and as always, SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS! And - they sent me a good, old fashioned thank-you note in the mail thanking me for my purchase as well as a thank-you email. Very thoughtful.Ill be back to BH in another 10-12 years for my next Weber! Thanks for such a great experience.Barry JoslinLouisville, KY

Employees are super helpful!!! It was my first time in the store but it definitely will not be the last. The employees greeted me at the door and took me exactly to the item I needed, no small task as the store contains tens of thousands of products. I was able to get in and out in a few minutes instead of wandering countless aisles. A great shopping experience.

Very kind people there were two employees that literally stopped what they were doing to assist me. On top of that they called the other store to see if they had the item. This is why I like smaller stores they still have old school standards, and that is why my family and I will continue to use this store.

Great service-above and beyond

I was trying to rebuild an old set shower valves and went to Home Depot & Lowes with no help getting the parts, both did not stock the valves I needed. As a last resort before calling a plumber I stopped by Brownsboro Hardware. I was met at the door with a expert that looked at my bag of parts and knew exactly what type of valves I needed. All was in stock and he every gave me tips how to do the install too. Made me a hero in my wife eyes. Thanks!

Great neighborhood hardware store

This place is great. Everyone is incredibly nice and helpful. They stock everything from nuts and bolts to Ziploc bags. Its great to have a good neighborhood hardware store and not have to step into a giant box store for something as small as a light bulb.

I drive from Louisville to prospect to pick up my hardware because they still know what coustumer service is.

Bought a Traeger series 340.....best money I ever spent! Very helpful and knowledgeable inside store with all my questions and needs. Had it delivered, even changed the day mid week......they still knocked it out of the park, no problem! Would recommend them highly to anyone.

This is the second grill we purchased through Brownsboro Hardware. Always a great experience! Everyone very knowledgeable and helpful. We just purchased a Traeger smoker. We would have come to Brownsboro Hardware regardless but hey - got it on sale! So ended up being cheaper than the box stores plus no charge for putting it together.

This store is one of my favorites. They not only carry Benjamin Moore paints, but they have a fine selection of brushes and other accessories for painting, as well as a myriad of other hardware supplies to meet your needs. Store is beautifully arranged. Its easy to navigate. The employees are super-friendly and extremely helpful. This reminds me of the days before big box stores when shopping for materials felt personal. Im going back there today. So excited.

When Home Depot did not carry the item needed for my new TV, they recommended this place. I was greeted at the door. I explained what I was looking for and he new exactly where to look. He spent several minutes looking for alternative screws for my TV mount as the ones I wanted were not in stock. Bought his solution; longer screws with a few washers which worked out perfectly. Quick and easy!

Not cheap but otherwise fabulous. Great service, knowledgeable staff and a super selection of hardware and supplies. Love all the demonstrations ( cooking, the Peach Truck, etc.) that they bring in as well.

This is the place to go for quality service, expertise and great advice. It may not be the largest hardware store in town, but they have practically everything most people need, or will order it for you in a few days. They also have a tremendous selection of assembled grills, smokers and grilling supplies. I love my Traeger smoker and use it several times per week. They also carry the different pellets.

Really like this place. I went there to buy a grill for a Christmas present and it was the week of Christmas. They didnt have the one I wanted, but they offered to order one and have it delivered before the day. The employees are very knowledgable and helpful. This type of local store and atmosphere is definitely better than the large chain hardware stores. Although it will be a drive for me, from now on, this will be where I go for hardware and housing needs.

This hardware was my hardware store before moving to Prospect. It was a wonderful hardware store. They were my go to for help with all kinds of problems. You can imagine my excitement when I learned that they would open a store in Prospect. These stores are so well run, professionally staffed and I am delighted they also have a store in Prospect.

I was just in your store I’m the paint section. I was told by several people to come see you all about some questions i has about painting cabinets. The lady working the back section was completely and utterly rude. I just left and will go somewhere else.

I need a _____ can be heard a thousand times here. These people are helpful, very helpful. Avoid the box stores and come here for good old fashioned one on one service.Let them help you, theyre friendly and educated in the arts of home repair.

Great old school hardware store. Though much smaller, it reminds me of my days a s a clerk for Sumners Feed and Hardware on Dixie Highway. Attentive service and true expertise.

Went to Home Depot for a plumbing part and they told us wed need to buy the entire faucet assembly ($200) just to get the part we needed. Went to BH and the clerk took my husband right to the bin that had the part...($7). Definitely worth the trip. Thanks for being our hometown hardware store.

My husband Nick wanted a Traeger grill. After years of seeing them on WDRB he chose to buy it there. He was very happy with his experience. The employees are helpful and friendly. Our Traeger was delivered on Saturday and Nick went back to on Monday to get rub and gloves and wood chips. These folks are just great and we know if have any questions or problems, we can call them and they will help!
