Nowadays getting quick and reliable service for an emergency repair is more rare than finding a unicorn. Fortunately for us when we called Cunningham to fix our dysfunctional garage door before leaving for vacation they were able to send out a technician within 48 hours. Our technician was excellent- prompt, thorough and friendly. Amazing service from Cunninghams!

We had a bowed door that need bracing and when I spoke to Chuck in Service about setting up a time for service, I had told him I had an appt at 11:30 and another at 2, any chance he could help? and he had his Tech here at 12:45, perfectly timed in between my appointments. to me thats absolutely fantastic customer service and our door works perfectly now, Thank You Chuck and the Cunningham crew!!!

Cunningham responded promptly when I emailed a quote request. They were very affordable so I scheduled a service request for the following week. The service technician was able to install a keypad and program a remote within a half hour. I have zero complaints with them and I will be using them in the future if I have any issues with my garage door.

Since Cunningham’s built & installed our door back in 2003, when we found our car stranded in our garage with the door totally inoperable, both electrically & manually, I called to get help! My call was handled courteously and professionally & emergency service would be supplied later that day. The technician arrived for this ‘added on job’ in the late afternoon, in a good mood and diagnosed and made needed repairs in record time, at least it felt that way to me, considering the complexity of the repairs needed. (Three new high compression springs for a very heavy door!) Anyway, the tech was extremely knowledgeable, polite and professional and had the parts on his truck. My wallet was considerably lighter after I paid the bill, but knowing the extent of the repairs, I felt the bill was very reasonable. Plus, after the tech made a few adjustments and lubricated the rollers, etc., we were able to extricate our car and proceeed with life and that’s what really mattered. Thank you Cunningham’s for quick and excellent service and no added on charges for an added on job. Great work!

I needed an adjustment to my garage door, it was closing but looked crooked and not meeting the ground on one side.They were able to set an appointment for 2 days later. The technician quickly got it back into alignment and at a reasonable cost.

Spring broke on our garage door trapping my car inside. Called another door company and was told that. Emergency repair appointments were one week out. A friend recommended Cunningham. Original installation was 12 weeks out. We got it in 3 days. Galen installed the door today and I have rarely seen anyone work as consistently as he did. Not only was he deliberate in installing the door, he was neat, polite, and cleaned areas that he did not mess up. When finished, he went through a detailed explanation of what we had, how it worked, and how to make changes. Over all an excellent job!

Even with short notice, Cunninghams sent out a service man who had us fixed up right away. Their team is always professional and they look at the whole picture and administer a little preventative care. It goes a long way, thank you.

Cunningham’s is the BEST COMPANY IN KENTUCKY!!The employees are well trained and very nice. They are always on time when going to customers house.The service techs don’t waste time when at customers house. They explain the problem to the customer then proceed with customer’s approval.Any customer that has a problem and gets quotes from other companies might get a lower quote. If these customers use these other companies the workmanship won’t be as good as Cunningham’s. The service person showed up in the time slot predicted. This gentlemans (didnt get his name or I would tell you to ask for him) work was above normal and hitting the excellent mark. We are very pleased with the recent garage door repair we had done from Cunningham. Their repairman showed up the morning after we called for service and came when scheduled. Our repairman (I think his name was J.R) was very pleasant and knowledgeable and got the job done in a surprisingly short time. I have been using Cunnningham Overhead Doors for more than 20 years and have never been disappointed. They have replaced my large 2-car garage door and overhead system. Recently had a receiver issue. Called in the morning and a tech was at the house that day, about 1 pm, and resolved the issue replacing the mother board. Excellent job and had us back in business in no time. I called Cunningham Door and Window at 8am and explained my situation. They said they would get back with me to set up an appointment possibly within the next day. I was very pleased with the service of Cunningham’s. I called because my sensors were keeping the door from closing routinely and I needed new ones put in. They also had to put a new gear and sprocket assembly in because the chain was off kilter. Technician was very efficient and friendly. Also happy with the amount charged for the call, thinking it would be much more.

The spring on our garage door broke on Thursday. I called two other places before Cunningham, one couldnt help until Tuesday and the other never called back. Cunningham was recommended by a friend so I gave them a call. I was told they were super busy but would try to work us in. I got a call Friday around lunch that there was an open spot. They came right out and had us fixed in less than an hour. The gentleman was so kind and polite. He wore a mask when we asked him to with no problems. We will definitely use them in the future.

Extremely pleased with overall service. My garage door was having issues closing due to sun shadows. The technician was very friendly, listened to my description of the issue, and quickly diagnosed the problem, which was a bad eye/sensor. He also did something the door to make it a little more smoother when opening and closing, at no extra charge. I would definitely call again if I have any issues.

My electric garage door opener stopped working on a Sunday, and it was very difficult to raise and lower manually. The first person sent to my home to fix my manual garage door (it wasnt staying all the way closed) provided me with information that did not add up; he told me I had to choose between the garage door staying all the way down or all the way up; I could not have it both ways, he said. The next day, when his fix did not hold, he returned again; this time, he was beyond rude and disrespectful, to the point I had to ask him to leave. I called Chuck, who sent out JR instead, and JR popped out of his truck whistling, spoke to me in a friendly and respectful manner, and actually managed to do what the first repairman said was not possible, in a window of about five minutes. I would give 5 stars based on my interactions with Chuck and JR, but my interactions with the first repairman were so awful, I would give him negative 5 stars. I cant believe Cunningham employs this person! Very upsetting. BUT, at the end of the day, my garage door is now staying closed all the way.

My niece scheduled a service appointment for her garage door online over a weekend, and asked me to meet the technician on a Monday as she works during the day. She requested that they call me 15 minutes or so before heading to her house so I could meet the technician. I was not sure I’d get the call, as we’ve had issues with other service providers like ATT calling ahead in the past. But sure enough, Cunninghams called me with enough time for me to get to her house and meet the technician, who turned out to be as pleasant a person as could be (and dog-friendly to boot!). He got the job done in no time, and explained the problem and what might be needed in the future. All around, a great experience!

Our garage door just wouldnt stay on its tracks and thats a little problematic after hours when rain is coming this way! I called after they were closed and after leaving a message, Sasha called me less than 30 minutes later and was at my house working in less than an hour. He did a full inspection and found that the door was poorly installed from the get go by somebody and went all out to make sure that it was operating as it should have been from the start before he left - and he did it super quickly! These guys have been around for a long time for a reason - theyre the ultimate pros - and they apparently hire the best because Sasha was THE MAN.

Had a technician out to replace a broken spring. They came out the day after I called and were on time and completed the work in a timely manner. The Tech noticed we had the smallest allowable spring for our size door and recommended we upgrade to a heavier spring to reduce the frequency of having to replace the smaller ones.I also had them replace the lower (bottom) door seal which he did and discounted the labor due to our being a long-time customer. He also lubed he hinges on the door and inspected the drive belt on the opener.Great service and very nice technician.

After purchasing a new LiftMaster 8365W garage door opener and waiting several days for them to call me for an installation appointment, I had to call them. No problem getting an appointment about 3 days later.Tim showed up on time, was friendly, efficient and informative. He remounted my existing keypad (which I had had to remove because of replacement of my garage door lintel). He reprogrammed it and the HomeLink button for my auto, and also finished setup of the myQ account that I had already established.
