Dont ever order from them. I ordered a couple of shirts the first week of May and its now almost mid-August and still didnt receive any product. Of course, they were quick enough to charge my credit card immediately and when I asked for a discount for waiting 3 months they gave me a miserable %15 (applied before taxes and shipment cost so that they can save those few bucks).Last time I talked with someone they assured me that I was going to receive my shirts the first week of August. Since I didnt receive anything Ive been trying to call them for a couple of days now but I always get the voicemail saying that they are closed even though Im calling during their business hours advertised on their website.So no product and no costumers service but they are good at getting your money.

Made a reservation on their website for a pant and blazer measurement and fitting. Michele was the CSR. A welcoming experience given the last couple of weeks in the training puzzle palace.Overall a positive and welcoming experience, and helpful tailor. The alterations were ready within an hour on this particular visit.

I’ve worn the Tropo shirts for two different airlines over the last decade. They have always been comfortable and not prone to wrinkling. That said, I was a little surprised by the change in material when I ordered a fresh batch in January 2021. The shirts, now made in Vietnam and not China, feel softer and wrinkle much easier. This is especially annoying if you pack your shirts before commutes, etc.As others have mentioned, I too would have appreciated knowing about the change in material/quality before ordering them.

I just ordered 2 new tropo shirts in March. Not the same quality, you have to iron the shirts now to get the wrinkles out. First 2 shirts had to be replaced because wing eyelet holes were too low.

Great shop!I live local. If you walk-in, they give you great service and 10% off your purchase. The shirts are already tailored well, so I don’t have to drop $30/shirt at a tailors. The material is premium and neck padding is comfortable.

I love A Cut Above Uniforms! I have been ordering my uniforms from here since 2017, I have everything from shirts to pants to my blazer. Everything is high quality. The sizing changed a little when they changed shirt manufacturers but the customer service is fantastic and the exchange process is smooth and fast. Veronica is the most amazing customer service associate I have ever worked with and she ensures that my order is perfect if I have to do an exchange or return!

Great shirts! My only critique is that the cuffs are a bit small. Even with the cuff buttoned on the outermost button it is a snug fit. I prefer being able to take the shirt off and put it on without having to undo the cuffs every time, but can’t with these shirts (and my hands are not particularly large). Would like to have roomier cuffs so it’s loose enough for me to easily lift it to see my watch and also not have to unbutton it every time I take it off. Other than that these shirts are fantastic.

The shirts are better than what I was provided by my employer in literally every way. These are high quality comfortable shirts that wont have to be tailored after they arrive. They actually fit! What a relief. Thank you A Cut Above for providing fit options that dont require me to take the shirts to a seamstress when I get them.

These shirts preform horribly when professionally done. They do not lay flat on the shirt buck and need to be all hand pressed. Im a professional shirt presser, these are from Vietnam.

Easy shopping and quick delivery. Purchased 2 short sleeve tapered and torso customized Brooks shirts. After a couple of trips they seem to look great after a full day of flying - doesn’t look wrinkled (even after being worn underneath a jacket). I don’t use any starch and iron these shirts on the lowest setting that provides steam. I’ll let you know how they hold up during summer rotations - collar staining, etc.... I’ll come back to A Cut Above next time!!

Items were shipped early, and arrived several days before promised.The shirts exactly as decribed, and have been IMHO the best available of their type for several years.They fit me great (several options and fabrics are available), are durable, look good, and are easy to care for. The fact they are priced well, have options for reinforcement where you pin your pilot wings are a huge plus.Its nice to be able to get a REAL uniform shirt that is more than just a modified dress shirt!! 👍

I found a perfect replacement uniform shirt here, and have come back for more. Way more comfortable than the company issues ones. Also, the quality of the zipper tie is top notch. The difference between the company offered zipper tie is night and day. Great products and great service makes for an awesome shopping experience.

I was hesitant with purchasing such an high price work shirt. But, once I did I was very glad. These shirts are very comfortable and fit just as it says. They quality of material used is high grade. For pilot short sleeve they have two chest pockets one of which is velcro, two pin slots one within each pocket. Neck area fits good not too small but not too big. They do not wrinkle even when I just throw it in the bag in a ball. Down side it does rise for me a lot when tucked and while I have to be up and down but I can live with that minor detail. Highly recommend it, you will pay a good price for it but you wont need another one in a couple of years.

Ordering shirts for our pilots has always gone smoothly with A Cut Above Uniforms. The only issue we had this last order was a back ordered item. It was listed on the order/receipt form that it was back ordered. However, I had to contact them to find out when it would be expected in, and it just so happened that it was about 3 months out. I wish they would have put that on the form as well. Luckily we were able to wait for the item, but not every operator would have been able to do so.

The shirts are made extremely well. The fit in the body is what I expected based on how they described the style. There isn’t a lot of extra “blousing” needed. The only recommendation I would make is order the next size up with regards to the neck size. The collar liner is very comfortable but it takes up a little extra room. Give yourself just a little bit extra allowance for this.

Received timely. Had to take a size down in neck bc they were sold out and it actually worked better than the original size I ordered. Only “but” was I was shorted by 1 shirt, which was sent out as soon as I contacted customer care. Great shirt again. Looks like the quality control has been revamped and we are back on track to the original great product.

Best fit and color match with my airline hands down for a ladies uniform! Pilot shirts have the best variety and they listen when customers make suggestions on better fit! I ordered a slim fit pilot shirt some time ago. I am not a pilot but just liked the design of the shirt. The fabric is durable and it fits really well. A highly recommended purchase, you will not be disappointed.

Have shirts (Cirrus) and their pants. Excellent quality and superb customer service. The fit is as it should be on both. One of the pants had a minor issue, but they fixed it immediately.

The quality of the shirts here is far superior than other pilot shirts Ive found. They iron and wash well, the fabric is comfortable and breathable, and the fit is great. My orders have all been correct the first time and ship right to my front door so I havent had an opportunity to deal with customer service, but the emails with order progress are helpful.

I ordered the pants on my last order. They fit great, color matches my company uniform just fine. However, be ready for the hem to come out. This is my second paid and both have had the hems completely come out after about a month. All things considered though, Id still buy again.

Nice material and quality stitching. Neck liner is nicer than most other shirts. Plan on shrinking 1/2 inch at the neck. Skip the wing eyelets. My latest shirts had crooked eyelets(not level).

My uniform pants shipped promptly! Pants are great quality and look very nice. Very happy with my purchase.

My last order was messed up. super tight shirt at the third button down on all my shirts in the last order. It formed a divit in the front of my uniform. Quality control lacking. Could it be Chinese manufacturing? Still like the collar though.

My experience with A Cut Above has been wonderful. Shirts were initially purchased as a Christmas gift and then the recipient changed airlines. Unfortunately, the same shirts werent used. Generous 90 day return policy allowed for an easy exchange. Exchange was seamless and new shirts arrived very quickly. Would highly recommend!

I received my shirts right on time and they are by far the best shirts that Ive ever had! Fit is perfect and the design is is well thought out. The pockets are big enough to fit my passport, the top of the pockets are open so that I dont have to flip open the flap, theres a sleeve for my pen within the pocket, and the gray strip of material inside the collar hides ring-around-the-collar well.If I have to replace my shirts again, this is where Ill be ordering.Thanks!

These shirts are the best. They are easy to care for- meaning they aren’t wrinkled coming out of the dryer, and spills like coffee and/or salsa are easy and quick to get out.These are also the best looking most comfortable shirts I’ve worn.

Best aviator shirts I have owned ever. Athletic material is mostly wrinkle free (if retrieved immediately when dryer stops) and the ability to taper and adapt the shirt to my athletic body is tremendous.

I used to love the shirts from this company until they changed sewing contractors. I ordered 3 cirrus shirts (the same I have ordered maybe about 4 years ago?) and the quality was night and day. This new fabric although still 65% polyester and 35% cotton, feels and looks completely different. The new shirts are very rough like sandpaper-ish. The buttons are enormous and the collar has increased in size as well. I hope they can fix all this so I dont have to go looking for another vendor.

Not sure how to edit my previous review. Several months ago I left a not so positive review due to poor collar fit on the cirrus shirts. Ive loved ACA for several years now, but my latest couple shirsts showed the gray lining of the collar above the tie. Customer service seemed less than interested in the issue. Well, several weeks later, I receive an email stating that the individual that I dealt with is gone, and the collar issue was identified and being fixed; would I like replacement shirts once they arrive? This is the customer service I am used to from ACA. Out of the blue, my situation is dealt with professionally. Thank you ACA! While Im just one of many, you kept a loyal customer.

Because of your uniforms, I am now able to perform a single engine instrument approach with yaw damp inop, and an engine on fire. 10/10 would recommend.

The fitted Tropo wears well and doesnt wrinkle. But it doesnt last that long, a year at best. Ive ordered at least 8 of the short sleeve and several of them had the wing holes above the pockets incorrectly centered.

I ordered two pairs of pants and found the quality to be better than my airline vendor for a better price and the tailoring for the custom inseam length was perfect.

Nice shirts and good customer service. They did change some of their shirts though and I like my old ones better than the new ones that are out right now.
