These guys are very nice and helpful. I find them to be honest in there business practices. I was able to get 4 very good used Duravis tires for my Dodge Ram 1500 for $175, yes a great price and great service. $198 total for taxes and disposal. They didnt try to “sell” me a service I didn’t need. Tires is their specialty, yet, they do have a mechanic that can do other work.

On Thursday May 2, 2019 I called about dropping my car off with the parts. DT #discounttires said early. I was there at 9am May 3,2019. DT said car be finished before closing at 7pm. No answer at 7pm. Saturday morning May 5, 2019 8:52 I called until I got someone. DT said car will be done first. At 1pm I called DT said mechanic just got in, car will be ready at 3pm. I specifically told DT that on Sunday May 6, 2019 I have to be at my daughter graduation at University of Kentucky. DT said I got you. WELL NO CAR!! And no answer of the phone past 3pm. Catching a Lyft to Lexington! Will not miss my daughters Graduation.,🙋🙋🙋 On Monday May 6, 2019. I went in to DT to get my car. The Manager of DT greeted me and apologize for the mix up. And took some 💰💰off of the labor cost 💯💯😘😘we good DT

Clean, friendly, cheap, fast and professional! My husband took it for new tires. He was really impressed with the work done and the customer service. That says a lot because hes a retired mechanic and very picky.

Good people, good work on your vehicle. It does have a long wait and didnt seem like they ran on scheduling. Have gotten plenty of tires from this location and other one. As always make sure you communicate clearly with ALL staff. I thought programming would be included after I told BM I bought a sensor, showed him sensor box, and put deposit down for wheel to be ordered that would be fitted with sensor but he was mostly in a rush I think because when i did come to fit wheel and new tire I was told that they could not program my sensor but only the sensors they sell and it is separate from installation fee...but I swore he said. . . 😅😪 communication is important.

There very understanding they will work with you to the best of there ability. The manager goes by the name Drew he will make sure that you are 100% satisfied with there service and will go out of his way to make sure that your visit is as Pleasant as possible. He is very knowledgeable in hisField and a very honest person.

They will tell you they can complete a job, just to take your vehicle to a place like big o tire just so someone can steal your unlocked vehicle off the lot... Theyre not to be trusted!!!!

Discount Tire, in Shively, has declined in customer service. They are clearly taking advantage of the business they get. Its not that Discount Tires dont offer good services, its the way its handled. One of the workers, turned manager, doesnt have a clue about managing. They just want to get you in and out, by any means. Cutting corners and having unqualified workers doing shabby business. DONT BE FOOLED BY THINKING THEY CARE ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS .

I have been purchasing tires from this shop for over 10 years. Very reasonable pricing on new and used tires as well as other services. Very quick repair time. I have no issue referring people to this business, and have several times over. I have been and will be a long time patron.Update: 4/24/20 still coming back. Had the oil changed in my Tahoe and the breaks done as well. My wife is with me this time, they treated her with respect. Still very pleased

Friendly people, quick service, and cheap prices. Went here a few days ago when my boyfriend had a blowout on Dixie. We brought them the rim and they had a tire on it in about 5 minutes.

Edit March 2016Now they have a new lift and are cleaning up the place even more and can do even more repairs with the new lift etc.These guys are great, always take good care of me and My tire swapping needs or if I need some used tires. Remember people always check a used tire good and you get what you pay for. Used tires can be a great option but you have to make sure they are still good.

You cant judge a book by its cover !! If you use Discount Tire and expect to have a less than acceptable experience based on the appearance of the facility you could not be more wrong ! I had the extreme pleasure of dealing with the manager, Andrew when I purchased a set of tires for my 2006 Ford 500. When I initially stopped to buy the tires, they didnt have the correct size but Andrew took my name and telephone number and went out of his way to locate a set for me. After having the tires installed, a week or so later I noticed a small leak in one of the tires. I called Andrew and he told me to bring the car over and he would take care of it. When I arrived, Andrew immediately moved my car to the front of the line. After he inspected the tire it was discovered that I had run over a nail. Andrew repaired the tire and inspected the pressure in the other three tires at no charge. I couldnt possibly be happier with my purchase and with the extreme professionalism and over the top customer service displayed by Andrew. Ill never buy a tire from anywhere else! Thanks Andrew!! Youre a true PRO!!!

My mom was less than 5 mins from the cut off of 6:30 for tires. I called bc she was nearby and may be a minute or 2 pass that cut-off time (she was, 6:31) and Mike told me that she could be seen if she made it to the shop before 6:40, she did. However, they refused her and they were rude to her.

Took van in to repair water pump. Workers damaged several bolts and left windows down causing mold. They had to send van to another shop and didnt honor their word to give me all of my refund. I do not recommend this! Will not be returning.

TERRIBLE!!! DONT GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to get a used tire, and ended up getting a tire and a plug. I drove off the lot late getting back to work and the steering wheel was not aligned. I called to inform them and they told me to just come back and theyd take care of it. When I came back the manager told me my car looked wrecked and there was no way he could have un-aligned the tires. He told me there was nothing he would or could do for me because they dont align tires there. So my $30 problem turned into a different $100 problem. TERRIBLE!!! DONT GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
