Looking for a vehicle, this by far is the best place to go. When you get there ask for CT, tell him that some guys from Buechel sent you. You are able to go out and look on the lot without being hounded by sales. When you are ready they will be there to gladly help. They will spend all the time you need, let you test drive, help you set up any phone apps. By far the best buying experience ever.

I took my vehicle in to have the brakes checked out. They could have took advantage of me but instead, they told me that my brakes were fine and still had over 50 percent of the pads there. Vehicle has 88,000 miles on it. Thanks for being honest.

Very good first experience with oil change and Ill definitely be back for other services. Service was reasonably fast for walk-in and the service writer was very personable and knowledgeable. The vehicle report was informative. I would prefer they take appointments but such is not the case.

My daughter’s 2014 Ford Focus broke down the first week of June 2021. She lives in Louisville and goes to UofL, works as a hostess, and therefore requires transportation. I live 600 miles away in another state. I was initially told the repair times was going to be 2-3 weeks. Bottom line, it ended up taking 4 months. I talked to Bill Collins’ employees and every level multiple times over the 4 months and they offered me no solutions or help. They said it was a Ford Motor Company supply issue and not a dealership issue. While I agree with this statement, there were several opportunities for them to make the situation better for me and they refused. Eventually, with no help from them, I reached out to the Ford Customer Relationship Center. I established a case number and was assigned a specific agent to my case. She worked with Ford and Bill Collins and assigned priority to the part I needed. The part was received and the car was repaired about 10 days after that. At no time was I informed by anyone at the dealership that this was an option and I am glad I took the actions on my own.

When we bought our first vehicle from Bill Collins Ford back in 2019, we felt like it was a great experience and would definitely return. Last weekend, we decided to trade that vehicle in for another new one and of course, we went back to Bill Collins. There was absolutely no pressure during both our buying experiences, NONE. Car buying shouldnt be a stressful event. With the back and forth that some dealerships do, the prodding questions, the generally uncomfortable atmosphere, no wonder so many people dread it. We were so happy that the experience at this dealership had not changed since our first visit a few years ago. On top of all this, youre probably going to find one of the best selections on their lot within the local area. I rarely find myself wanting to write a Google review, but as for this dealership and how they treated us, I feel others my find these words helpful if theyre looking to purchase a new or used car.

Very disappointed with the quality of service, and the time frames.First of all, I was amazed to learn today (that the service department opens at 7am MON-FRI), but the service techs aka mechanics, are not onsite until 8am. Also to my surprise the SHUTTLE does not run until 8am, which seems odd, due to the fact that if the service department is taking vehicles in since 7am, but the are not working on the vehicles until 8am. (SO BE AWARE THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO SIGN UP AND WAIT FOR ABOUT AN HOUR, TO BE TAKEN SOMEWHERE). I went there for a simple OIL CHANGE, and I wouldnt wait because I was told that it will be a while. I would think that whomever is running the service department needs to do a TUNE UP of the efficiency and this will bring customer satisfaction to a better scale.

A funny point here:. If you are traveling northwest on Feganbush towards Bardstown Road, i couldnt help but notice the arrow points the wrong way to well branded Quicklane. Instead arrow points to car wash across street. Life is better in the fast lane.But yes, yes, Bill Collins Ford is simply the best when buying used or new automobile.

On the sales side they are good. Nakia Boyd has leased me 3 Lincoln’s and Is great.Evan the Lincoln sales manager will also help on the rough finds to get you what you want. They are both helpful through delivery and after. If you want to buy the car and be done you are at a good spotService for your vehicle is hit and miss. If you drive a Lincoln you have a good chance. Jason one of the advisers is awesome. Anyone else .. hit and missNow the body shop. If you need work done and be kept Up to date on delays or how things are going or possible return date go somewhere else. The body shop is beyond bad about all those items and saying .. I’ll call you back when I find this.. I’m on my 4th such call back wait and doubt I get it. I’m 2 weeks into waiting for a piece of molding. 2 months into a repair. So buy or lease and leave. Do not use the other services

The employees were nice, however I paid a little under 1,000$ to get my car fixed (over 600$ in labor) and the day after taking it home, I am still experiencing the same issues as I did before I dropped it off. Not to mention, it was returned to me with a low tire pressure signal, they offered to fill it with air, and the notification went away. The next day, it came on again. I am just very disappointed after spending a week waiting on my car, and paying as much as I did, just for nothing to have change, disappointed.

We ordered our car in July and knew there would be a wait. No big deal. We finally get the email that our car has arrived. We call our salesman and he says yes it arrived a few days ago. Hmmm okay wish we had known that. We make an appointment to come in and close the deal. We decide on 1pm. I call him around 11:30 and tell him we would be available a little earlier around noon and he texts me “text me”. I text him we are available a little early and would like to come. No response from Dave Feller. We head to the dealership- arrive around 12:15pm. He is upset we are early because he was selling a car to an old friend. I said all I needed was a text back that you weren’t available and he said he didn’t want to be rude and text in front of his friends. We are handed the keys around 12:45pm and saw Dave again around 1:30. We got to test drive around 2:30 where he took several phone calls and had us stop the test drive so he could get out and talk to people. Around 4:30pm we finally get told we are in line for finance. He takes my wife to connect the car(because finance is so far behind) I walk over to the finance dept and say “we have been here since before 1pm”. He said he has been waiting on us. He had us in and out in 15 minutes: The entire time Dave Feller had been telling us they had a new person who had no clue about closing these deals. We were at the dealership for close to 5 hours to buy a vehicle on the a-z plan. This is the most outdated dealership and salesman I’ve ever had in my life. Dave doesn’t value your time. Please choose another Ford/Lincoln dealership.

Had to get the bottom engine replaced, $7000 in repairs but was covered under warranty. Supposedly this is an issue with Fusions so not sure why its not a recall??? However, Joe, was super nice and tried his best to keep me informed and did what he could. It took 7-8 weeks to get my car back. Quality work so far. Better customer service than Oxmoor Ford.

I had a very pleasant experience at Bill Collins Ford when I purchased my Ford Mustang. David Feller was very pleasant and helpful, and very honest and patient. Bill Collins used to be appropriately staffed and you could get a repair done within a few days. Not anymore. My truck was in there for 3 weeks.Service team says they’ll get back to you on updates but many times I would have to call several time to get info.Failure reoccurred a week after I got my truck back. Called and left a message for my service rep but no response. That’s as a week + ago. Probably for the best so I can take it somewhere else.

Terrible service fixing cars. A friend has had her vehicle in the shop there forever and not fixed. I still have nightmares about the car I got there. I ended up making a payment and having car repairs every month of over $200. Plus taking the bus. She is elderly and her husband is a veteran with medical needs it is not right to do them that way! Shame on you.! I am going to help report this to the BBB and the news possibly.

Im watching a YouTube video on dealerships on YouTube about upsales and shady dealerships. I used to work for Bill Collins Ford in the service department for a few years. This dealership from Kevin Collins down to the Car Jockeys that just move your car around are a great group of guys! Steve Ashcraft is one of the best Ford Master Techs period! In his day. The trim guys are awesome, diesel mechanics etc. Given theres human flaw in every organization these guys are as good as they get!

Worst service department. Took a vehicle there for recall work and they called stating if the car didn’t “qualify” for the recall they would charge us $99 to diagnose. I told them not to do anything and I’d pick the car up and take it elsewhere. Upon arriving, I was told by Tony that Ford uses the term recall when extending a warranty on certain things. I told him that was misleading and ridiculous. I took the keys and left. I have not used this dealership for anything since 2004 and now I remember why.

After countless mishaps at Town and Country Ford a friend recommended that I take my 2018 5.0 Mustang to Bill Collins. I’m so glad that I did. They were very friendly and had nothing but my well being in mind. They actually found that the other dealership had mounted my front tire on the back rim and put it on the front of the car and mounted the back tire on the front rim and put it on the back of the car. From now on Bill Collins will be the only dealership that will touch my car. Thank You Bill Collins.

I am a long time customer (have bought three vehicles from Bill Collins over the years, and have had them serviced there). I have never had a problem with the work, however I seem to have a problem each and every time Im in there; that problem is with customer service. I can never seem to get anyone to return a phone call to tell me the status of my vehicle. On my most recent visit, I was told that I would be called around lunch time on a status...no call. I started calling mid-afternoon, and left at least three voicemails. Finally got a call later and was told my vehicle was ready, but it was AFTER closing time so I couldnt even pick it up. The service representative claimed that we had been playing phone tag, but no...never received a call from him all day and then when he did call, it was after closing. We take my wifes minivan to a Honda dealership and they text her through the day with a status and we have never had a problem with them when weve called them directly. If a Honda dealership can stay in touch with customers, Im sure a Ford dealership can do the same. Come on, Bill Collins, youve been in business for 50+ years; you should have customer service down to a science. Because of this recurring issue, Im ready to take my business, elsewhere.

I have been waiting 3 MONTHS for an engine replacement. They have had my car since May 11th and no one can tell me when i will actually get it replaced. I have been nothing but understanding until now. I have no rental, no courtesy car, and no second vehicle. My service writer is great, but keeps pushing back the date week after week. I have been patient this entire time and at this point i am sick of it. The other service writers are absolutely no help because they dont get commission off of me. I just want my car back.

I have used them several times when my normal mechanic has said a dealer needed to handle the issues with my 2013 Ford F150. None of my experiences have been very satisfactory. Both guys handling my account have been rude, seemed bothered to help, and never return phone calls. My truck is currently there for service which I took in with exactly what was wrong and was told it would be 2-3 weeks. It is now been over a month and they havent even diagnosed my truck (which I told them exactly what was wrong) and I keep being told its being worked on, which its not. I have a warranty which covers a rental but it wont cover it until a claim is made and they havent even called my warranty company or diagnosed the truck in a month. Getting someone to answer the phone or call you back is almost impossible. Use a different Ford service location!!!

Went in for an oil change. At the counter I was asked “if I had an appointment?” I answered “no, because I was told they didn’t do appointments for oil changes.” After getting all my information he told me, “it will be 2-3 hours, but I’ll see what I can do.” I replied, “ok.” Brought the car in at 10:30, at 2:20 I went to the cashier to see how much longer I would have to wait. After calling the “advisor” she comes back and tells me about “another 20-45 minutes, it was up in the air now.” So at 3:00 my car is finally ready and I was furious. I wasted a half a day, on my day off, waiting for an oil change. Now, if he would have taken the time to come to me and let me know it’s going to be longer than expected for whatever reason I probably would have been upset but more understanding. I received nothing. All it would have taken is a little communication and I wouldn’t be writing this negative review. Very disappointed in my trip to Bill Collins. Perhaps he held a grudge when I told him my husband works at another body shop and usually fixes anything that happens to my car. I feel that might have come into play since I only get oil changes at Bill Collins.

I bought a new mustang back in March. The third brake light had a pulse added and it never worked correctly. On the 2nd repair, I requested that it be removed and I be refunded. The new car manager, Randy, was great with that and did refund me. Also, Shaun has gone above and beyond to be helpful!

Called about a specific vehicle listed online. Salesperson (Corey I believe, hard to tell because he mumbled an awful lot) was pretty rude. Car was listed over $6000 above book price. He said we aint going down because theres lots of extras in this car like racing seats and engine upgrades. Everyone knows vehicle upgrades dont increase the value of the car. Came into service this morning to have batteries replace in my key fob. Gentleman at counter told me to take it to auto zone and they would sell and put new batteries in. If bill collins did it they would have to write up a ticket and charge me $10-15 per fob. Sorry folks but Im driving a lincoln, do you think the $$ is an issue. Thanks for the great customer service

First the GOOD, the service was great and very thorough. My Service Advisor, Daniel, was great. Very personable and kept me updated along the way to let me know what was happening and when my car would be ready.Now the BAD, when I went to pay for the service work, I was greeted with a couple of surprises:1) None of the cashiers were wearing masks. I was. Youre interacting with the public during a pandemic! Wear a mask!2) The dealership adds 4% to your bill if you use a credit card. I dont know any other business that does this. I own a small business and my credit card company doesnt charge me anywhere near 4%. Accepting credit cards is the cost of doing business.Overall, despite the fact that I think the service was great, I wont be returning until the dealership takes care of the safety issues and extra fees.

I arrived at opening time for a 30,000 mile checkup, including oil change and tire rotation. The service adviser was very courteous. It only took a little over 30 minutes to complete the checkup. I was very pleased with the service.

Thought we were pleased the night we purchased, but after several days and in reviewing the statement & financing, we werent given what we expected. My GF was not given the quoted rate and signed to purchase an extended warranty she didnt need. The trade-in value wasnt what she agreed upon either. Not very happy at all with the financing dept. She was not asked to review any statements prior to signing digitally (her fault too, for not asking.......point being, she felt taken advantage of). There has been no personal follow-ups either.

I just purchased my Second vehicle from Bill Collins Ford. ( F-150 and Fusion). My salesman, Courtney Madden, sold me both my vehicles. He was very knowledgeable about both vehicles and very helpful. He took the time to make sure everything was right, with the truck and car, the paperwork and through the whole process. Even when I came in for scheduled maintenance, the service department made minor mistakes, he was there to see that they were corrected. And they were. It was not a good car buying experience. When I got my car home I realized the power running boards were gone when I knew they were on the vehicles online pictures. When I asked about them they told me they removed them because they were worn and offered no apology or solution. Also there was only one key and it took 5 months to get my title. When the my temporary plate was getting close to expiring I would have to text my salesman to get another one sent. I shouldnt have had to ask each month. They should have been on top of the situation. Sometimes I couldnt drive it because I was waiting a couple of days for a new one. They also spelled my first name wrong and I had to have that fixed after I got home. Attention to detail is important. It appears Bill Collins has gotten too big to care.

This month (October) was the first time for service of my Corsair. I was informed via email with updates and appreciated the reminders. As I arrived, I was met by Chris who directed me through the process. After explaining to me that there was also a recall on the Corsair that could be fixed that day, I was given another Lincoln to drive while the time passed. He called me to let me know the car was done and I returned to Bill Collins. Went to Bill Collins Ford for an oil change using the Quick Lane service center. Courteous staff. Wait was a bit longer than expected, but that was due to an issue being addressed on the preceding customers vehicle. Once my car was in the service bay, i was ready to drive off in under 20 minutes (my wait was 60 minutes as opposed to the 30-45 upon arrival for the reason noted above). My tires didnt need rotation at this service, so i guess i could have gone elsewhere. Waiting area was clean, patrons were wearing face masks. 4-stars for the added wait time, but again, they were addressing an unexpected issue with an earlier customer.

I brought my new truck here for its first oil change because the service at the dealer I bought from (Oxmor Ford) is HORRIBLE, they cant even answer the phone! I love the first come first serve basis, they got me out the door way sooner than I planned.

I had an appointlment at Bill Collins Ford on Thursday, September 10th, at 9:30 a.m. Upon arriving, I was met by the Rep from Bill Collins Ford. His name was Nick Harmon and he was very mannerly and helpful. He asked the correct questions about what I needed taken care of with my 2014 Ford Escape. I had a recall on the passenger side door, that I had brought in awhile back the first time I received a recall on it. I needed an oil change, tires rotated and balanced, brakes checked, etc. and I had a brake light that was out. He wrote all that down, I went to the clients waiting room with my book, and mask, seated away from others. In a very quick time my car was finished and he appeared. I have the FORD warranty that I pay monthly on my Ford. My door was fine, it was fixed properly by Bill Collins the first time months ago. Mr. Harmon made my day successful and I truly appreciated his knowledge and help!Judith Henry Louisville, KY

We have brought our explorer in several times for repairs. Everyone is usually helpful, but I have to say that this experience was much better than before and I think the new app used for communication helped tremendously. The repair quote was broken down for us in writing which made things a lot easier to understand. We were able to communicate back and forth easily and timely. My explorer is now running great!
