A+++ Great job on my rear axle work

Referred to me from Discount transmission for electrical repair after a Meineke shop butchered a transmission swap. Turned out the damage wasnt as bad as we thought and the total bill was a forth of the estimate. Its hard to find a shop that will shoot straight and charge less than their estimate.

This my repair shop,I only go here when I have an issue with my car. They have always given me the best service & would recommend them to anyone.

My family has used them for over 20 years always do good work and if u have issues u can bring it back no problem always keep very good mechanics would recommend to anyone

They wont work on older model cars anymore. I have an 1989 Ford Bronco. The old manager encouraged me to go somewhere else. Seems like hes definitely ready for retirement. They used to be pretty legit. Work started getting careless under old management. Ive had a lot of work done on all of my cars. The work started good, got worse.. Under new management, looking a little suspect. Oh well, gotta find another mechanic shop. I guess if you are 2000 and up they still maybe viable. Good luck.

I would never recommend this place to anyone ever. I took my 94 chevy camaro here to have a bolt drilled out of the intake manifold. They drilled out the bolt and replaced the gasket. However in the process of doing this they managed to leave my O2 sensor disconnected and when driving the car I realized that my temperature gauge was not working even though it was before I had taken it to the shop. I located where my Coolant temperature sensor was and noticed that it had been broken off, which was not the case before dropping off at their shop. They even had the audacity to leave the broken parts under the hood. I paid $500 for a job that was well below par and I will never take my cars back to them.

I recently bought a new (to me) car that I wanted checked after purchasing. I brought it to Automotive Specialist for the repairs. One of the few things that needed replacing were the brakes. When the work was done, I picked up the car and during my short ride home, the car seized up, then the ABS and brake lights came on. I restarted it, got home, and took it back to Automotive Specialists the next day to have them see why those lights came on. The owner called me later the same day, told me that it was an electrical issue, and to trust his word that it was safe to drive.However, the lights were still on and the brake pedal was now going to the floor, so I took it to another shop. After having it for a day, I was informed by the 2nd shop that the brake fluid valves that circulate the brake fluid through the car werent tightened and because of that, air had leaked into the master cylinder and I had to get a new one. In addition, he told me that I was very lucky to even be alive because driving with those valves being loose was an accident waiting to happen. I called Automotive Specialist to ask for a partial refund on the brake portion of the work that they had done. Again, I spoke with the owner who told me that he couldnt give me a refund for work that they already completed (even though thats what a refund is) and that I should have brought the car back to them if it needed more work (which I had already done). He became very angry on the phone and kept telling me that the new shop was screwing me over. Honestly, I feel screwed over by him.The worst part is that Ive been recommending this place to friends and family for years. My brother went to them a month ago because of me. Now Ill start telling them all to stay away, and I wont be back myself.

Very reliable quotes and dependable service. We have had my mothers vehicle serviced here and our vehicle was quoted recently.(work was not done on our car- but only because the value of the car does not warrant any further money) we will return here

Took my 08 kia optima here after my GREAT neighborhood mechanic referred me to this place. I trusted his opinion. BAD MOVE.I got quoted a price, the young lady at the front only told mechanic 1 or the 2 problems I was having. When I got called with an estimate I was given a price. told them go ahead. What was told was an afternoon or next day fix turned into almost a week!! When it was finally ready I went to pay and it was almost $100 more than what I was told (and I didnt have it).I was quoted a price and thats what it should be. After a lot of back and forth they gave it to me for quoted price and the lady commented, Well, merry christmas! as if it was so grand gesture they were doing.The very next day after getting my car my check engine light CAME BACK ON (which he said he fixed that and it would be off) and my AC went out so I had to take it somewhere else to get the ac fixed and now after saving up I can take it somewhere else to check on the engine.I did not find anything honest or professional about this place and I will never return.

Trust with extreme caution. This shop took advantage of my mother while keeping her truck for over two weeks and taking nearly $3,000 from her. With as much experience as this shop boasts about they knew the solution they recommended was not going to work and proceeded with it anyways. The truck still does not work and they are washing their hands of it while my mother is out $3,000.

Very good at what they do?

Every vehicle we ever taken there has been done in a timely fashion and if we had any issues they fixed them.

Took my Equinox there, from a recommendation from another shop, for a short in my running lights. My check engine light was on also for another problem.They figured out my short was in the trailer lightening wires, that I suggested they look at.Also said that that my EGR valve was stuck open. They replaced that.The EGR valve cost $18 at Autozone but I was charged $128. I was also charged 2 hours labor at $80 per hour to install it when it is only 1 bolt on top of the motor. 5 minute job at the most. Also charge $100 for a computer reprogram fife this work.The short was found to be the trailer hitch wiringand was disconnected without replacing it and I was charged another 3 hours labor. I was told someone else would have to fix it.So by my count I was charged 4-5 hours too much in labor at $80 per hour ($320-$400)Would I use them again. Electrical problems yes, only if nobody else can fix it. And they won’t have a blank check again.But realize this. Their prices a way too far out of the ball park. Very misleading charges that the owner says were justified.Turns out an EGR valve repair for $728 WOW!!!

Great pricing for the best repairs. Honest and dependable. If there is a problem they will make it right. Have used them for all my repairs on all of my cars for years and years. Highly recommended.

I took my 2005 Chrysler 300c there for a ground short. They call me and tell me everything is losing communication with the pcm and that had to be replaced first. Went on to tell me Chrysler discontinued the part and they dont install used ones. Charged me 75 bucks to tell me they couldnt fix my car.

Just got my ride, had water pump and fan put on and i did not have to give up my first born to pay him.

Had my truck taken here a couple of months ago to have ac worked on. Check engine light came on shortly after got it back, took it back and was told it might be an intake leak. I took it somewhere for a 2nd opinion and found out that the Crank Case tube had not been hooked back up right, check engine light went away.

Please stay away they are dishonest and do not inspect your car but lie that your car needs a repair. Keri is a deceitful predjuice person. If you are a minority he will treat you like you are the one who is trying to get over. Go there if you choose and hope that they do not screw over your money or repairs

Did good once

I was recommended to take my Sebring to them to find out why the battery kept being drained overnight. I was afraid it was going to be a very costly repair. However, they kept it long enough to make sure that leaving the map light on was the culprit. Not a costly fix!

I would highly recommend Automotive Specialists, to anyone who is looking for a professional shop. Automotive Specialists is even better than a dealership they have the latest technology to diagnose your vehicle. My business fleet would only be service by Automotive Specialists team.

I also had them do other repairs that were needed and their price was very reasonable. Kerry was always very kind and went the whole 9 yards and then some!! Terrible experience...pd $1200.00 to get my air conditioner fixed kept my car 5 days and it still doesnt work...took it back kept it another 3 days. It hasnt worked at all since they supposedly fixed it DONT GO TO THEM THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF

Shop has good reputation. Pricey but does good work, what I heard. Got a $1349 estimate to fix AC issue. I got sticker shock, paid $65 for incorrect diagnosis. I took car for 2nd opinion, to another local reputable shop and much to my delight my car was fixed for $199 . I dont know what happened, but Im sure glad I got a 2nd opinion, $1150 + glad.

(Stop) Only take your car to Auto motive specialist if you have tons of money to throw away. They will charge you $800.00 to fix something that elsewhere would cost you $200.00. RUN RUN RUN!!!
