The worst service ever at Hyundai of Louisville in the service department. They’re not professionals just tell a bunch of lies and give the customer the run around. When they’re the cause of the situation they want to treat the the customers as if they did something wrong. Hyundai you need to step your professionalism up and treat your customers better. Flew in from KC to purchase a hard-to-find manual transmission G70. I started the process over the phone, working with Chris Browning. Once the deal was made, Chris stayed in contact with me via text, picked me up from the airport, and spent a great deal of time going over the features of the car. He was super to work with and I dont regret my decision to buy here in any way.Chris Wilkinson handled the paperwork and couldnt be nicer. I would have to say this ranks right up near/at the top of car buying experiences Ive had in my 55 years and Im thrilled with my decision to come here for this car. I couldnt recommend this dealer any higher.
This is my first Hyundai that I’ve bought and it won’t be the last. Everyone there has been amazing from the purchase of my new Tuscon to my first scheduled maintenance on it. Customer service is super important to me. I traded in a 2018 Jeep because service was horrible, I went to 3 different Jeep dealers all the same. I was so impressed with not only the amazing quality of my Tucson but my sales guy Keith was amazing as well. I can’t say enough good things about them.
After my first unpleasant experience, they have been excellent. I like the ease of scheduling online and how quickly they get my car in and out. Communication is awesome and I will continue to get my car serviced there as long as I have a Hyundai.

I was surprised how poor customer service was. I bought my first and last Hyundai two months ago. Was looking forward to their new truck release but I will probably go with Toyota. I will pay more but get treated better.

My experience at the Dixie location was awesome!! Tony was my salesman & he worked his butt off to get me into a car. And he made sure to get me into a good, safe car. He took his time & really explained a lot of things to me that I have never been told before buying previous cars. He treated us like people & not a “commission”. Tony & his other associate Derrick did any & everything they could for me & never gave up until they got me the deal I could afford & deserved! And their finance manager Chris was just as awesome! They all were super nice & real stand up guys. If you are looking for a car & want to buy from honest people, go see them at Hyundai on Dixie.

I will start with the good. I ordered a wheel from the parts department and the parts manager (Jason) was terrific! He went above and beyond in helping me locate and order a new wheel. Even with all the shortages and backorders nation wide, he kept me informed the entire way until the wheel arrived a month later. I could not ask for more.Now the bad. I scheduled the service department to mount this new tire and wheel on my car. This was my very first service experience with this dealer, which left me with my first impression of them. I had scheduled over a week in advance to have a wheel and tire mounted on my new 2021 Hyundai due to hitting a pothole. I arrived at 7:30 and checked in. At 9:00 I went to the desk to see what was taking so long and was told they did not have a valve stem to put in the wheel. Really? You sell tires but do not have a valve stem? I was told they had to go over to Oxmoor Hyundai to get one. I had no choice but to wait as they had my old tire broken down to take out the sensor. At 10:15 they finally started to mount my new wheel on the car. Then the tech started working on another car while mine was still on the lift. That is when I asked to speak to the service manager, Johnny Piercy. When they located him I explained that I had been there for 3 hours just to change a wheel out. And that I was shocked that they did not have a valve stem, especially since I scheduled it over a week ago. His comment was I do not know what to tell you, there are shortages and we didnt have one. When I explained that it took 1 1/2 hours to figure out they did not have a valve stem, his comment was. I would be more concerned with that than anything else. Really? Your not more concerned that I spent over three hours in your shop just to have a wheel mounted? The sad part is that I explained to him this was my very first experience with his service department and gave him every opportunity to apologize for their mishap. Everyone makes mistakes and things happen but I feel the worst part of this experience was the response from the service manager and how he handled it. I truly wish the experience had been better as this dealership is so close to one of my businesses. Unfortunately I will now have to decide to either drive across town or give them another chance going forward.
I had a great experience here. The salesman knew every detail about all the cars I looked at without having to go look at a book or ask anyone else about it and he was very friendly, definitely on top of his game and when I made my choice everyone from each separate department all worked together to get my paperwork and deals together. Everyone there seemed to work as a team and every single employee was very friendly and open. It was a great experience for me. I will be back in the future and I will highly recommend it for everyone.

My sales guy was Brandon and he was friendly and honest. No BS. I knew what I wanted and Brandon worked hard, along with the sales manager Derrick, to get me behind the wheel.I was a credit challenge as Im in a rebuilding stage. That did not change anything it just meant that those two guys had to work harder behind the scene and into the next day. They both worked tirelessly and their efforts paid off.I have included a picture of what they were able to do for me. Anybody who has been looking to find one of these gems knows that these trucks do not sit around very long. Its now mine.That is why Im giving HOL 5stars!Thanks guys

I rarely write reviews unless Im really happy or really upset about something, and because I dont want to base my reviews on only one experience. However, Hyundai of Louisville, and particularly Andrew, the service manager, deserve to be an exception. Andrew is extremely kind, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, honest, helpful, and able to explain complicated things in a way that even someone with little knowledge of cars can appreciate. He makes a personal connection with you which is always nice and makes going through car troubles easier.

Do not go here unless you want them to drain you for as much money as possible. Tried selling me a $13000 car for $26000 by jacking up the interest rate to TWENTY FIVE PERCENT. I have a credit score of over 750 and there was zero reason for that. Told them i wanted my max payment if possible for 72 months to be $250 but apparently that’s not possible for a used car, only for a brand new 2021 $30,000 car lol. And the sales dude couldn’t even tell me what the interest rate was he kept saying let me ask my manager because he knew damn well that it shouldn’t of been that high. All they care about is their commission.
Just bought a new 2019 Genesis G80 from Hyundai of Louisville with Brandon as my salesman. Great experience with Brandon who was extremely helpful, courteous and cordial throughout the entire process. Id highly recommend Brandon and the dealership to anyone looking to buy a car. I live out of state, but the buying process was relatively quick and smooth, and my car arrived as advertised. We have had the worst experience with the titling department. Tina in titling is one of the most unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and unhelpful representatives we have ever worked with. My husband purchased his F-150 in April of 2020. After receiving the title we realized there was an error and sent it back for a replacement, which the titling department was supposed to handle. That was around six months ago and we still have not received the title for the vehicle we purchased a year ago. Not once in the past six months has the titling department updated us on the status of our title. Last week my husband spoke with Tina and she told him he would receive the title on Saturday May 15th. The title never came. Today (Monday May 17th) my husband called Tina in the titling department four times without answer, before finally speaking to Dave, a sales manager. When Tina returned my husbands phone call he expressed that being without his title for six months has been an inconvenience and that he has been actively trying to obtain his title for weeks. Tina took absolutely no responsibility, nor did she have any information. Tina told my husband that he misunderstood her during their conversation on Saturday May 15th, and that the title was being handled in Frankfort Ky. After calling other titling offices ourselves in search for information, we found that our title is actually being processed in Tennessee, and that it was never set to arrive on Saturday May 15th like Tina had said. Tinas poor attitude and lack of knowledge unfortunately ruined what was otherwise a good experience with Hyundai of Louisville. Due to Tina we will not return nor will we recommend them to others.
I drove 2 hours to buy a truck with CASH, talked to the manager and was told how good and nice this Ford Powerstroke was, no issues and runs great. Get there to watch it literally pour oil out of the engine and blue smoke so awfully it looked like they just had a firework show. I would advise everyone to stay away from this dealership and take your business elsewhere. I wasted 4 hours of my life today going to look at a very expensive paper weight. So after that was all said and done I bought a truck right across the street at Chevrolet.
I live in Ohio and drove to this dealership for a specific Kona. My sales rep was Eric Elliott. I could not have asked for a better person to help me in buying a vehicle. I am very disappointed in this Hyundai dealership. I was told by two other mechanics from a well known tire shop that my car INFACT had a warranty recall on the engine. The first mechanic ahead of time before calling told me to be aware that I would possibly be lied to about this. Saying that it’s been a common problem. So I call this dealership and they tell me with my vin number I don’t have any recall. WHAT A LIE. I tell the tire shop what they said and the second man told me I do.SO I find the recall page myself & type in my vin number and SURE ENOUGH my engine has the replacement qualifications!I’m writing this to share my experience to let it be known this is not the first time I’ve have a problem with this dealership at this location. This is my third Hyundai. I’m a loyal customer. The issue before was with my Hyundai Elantra and the engine went bad. At the time they told me I do not qualify for a recall. Which may have been true or not But I had to replace the engine myself and I GOT A LETTER IN THE MAIL WITHIN THE YEAR SAYING MY MODEL IS ENTITLED TO A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FOR ENGINE FAILURE.I’m sorry Hyundai but you need to do better. Right your wrongs with your customers who need you and take care of your people. MY CURRENT HYUNDAI HAS ONLY 40,000 MILES ON IT. I WILL NOW BE CALLING CORPORATE & LETTING THEM KNOW EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED.Stop lying to your customers.
We filled out enough paper work to buy a house(took us 2 1/2 hours), then we find out a couple weeks later that we could’ve signed one paper instead of 50, so we had to drive from Shelbyville to Dixie highway to sign one paper. That one paper was also the paper to get my really license plate, which I didn’t get until after my temporary expired. And instead of handing us another temporary while filling out the final paper they mailed it to us. And after all that my check engine light came on before the first payment. It cost us $750 to fix and they weren’t willing to help at all.
Went with my daughter to purchase her 1st car on her own. She had online researched and found the car she wanted so we drove up and met with Keith. Keith was great through the whole process, didn’t pressure or oversell, made the whole experience wonderful. Walked my daughter through everything and was very patient with her nerves and many questions. Car was beyond a good deal, a great price and payment that was below what she went in as the most she would pay. Will definitely be back to see Keith at Hyundai!
Very unsatisfied after ordering a 275.00 part from parts department at this dealership and learning it was not the correct part . they refused to let me return it unopened and not a electrical part or give me any credit for future parts purchased . i would have never ordered if i knew this was the policy and NO other dealership i deal with has done me that way since i opened my shop . this is why customers refrain from buying parts from dealerships but to do this to a reputable shop that will be repeat customer is just bad business tom blevins popples performance garage

Scoll towards bottom for TLDR version. I purchased a 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo here in or around June 2017. I had a good experience with the sales rep (but I did know him from high school) and ended up with what I thought was a good deal; reasonable price, several discounts. Since then, within the first four thousand miles I started to have some imperfections in the steering wheel - I dont know how to describe them but on a four thousand mile car it is a little ridiculous. Due to my employment, I am away from home for weeks at a time and I didnt bring it in to mention it to them until roughly 5.5 thousand miles or so. When I did bring it in the lady at the service desk described it as the steering wheel falling apart; the material is worn in several places so it doesnt appear to be something caused by an abrasion or cut/ since it is in roughly 5 places or so. The lady at the service desk made it sound like it would be an easy fix, they would replace the steering wheel no problem... That was in the first couple of days of Jan, they called a week later and asked me to bring it in for the manager to see because he had to sign off on it. I didnt make it back in until the first week or so of February, the manager said that he didnt think that Hyundai USA (corporate?) would want to cover it but that he would try to work it out. Since then I have had no successful communication with the HOL service team, I have asked my old high school friend (the sales rep) to have them contact me several times throughout the month with little success. So the TLDR here is: Sales 5/5 (good price/good sales service.. But i did buy a year 16 car in late 17, so getting a good deal isnt exactly unexpected here?). Service 1/5. Hyundai Of Louisville standing behind their product 1/5. Hyundai corporate standing behind their vehicles unknown/5. I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone else, the purpose of buying a brand new car is that you should be able to reasonably expect to have no cosmetic issues like this for quite some time.. and if you do, there is an expectation that it will get resolved promptly. -Will update if this moves forward.-update: owner response 5 day ago stating that they would contact me. Never contacted me.-update 2: they responded again, here, still no phone call or attempt at email/personalized communication... Say that they will not cover. Lowering review to 1 star; can not recommend dealership if they are going to unapologetically drop the ball after making the sale.

I just bought my second car from David Jones today from Hyundai of Louisville. My first car was a Hyundai genesis coupe and it was an excellent experience. I went back and traded in my coupe for a truck and David took very good care of me again and gave me a fair value on my trade and got me exactly what I was looking for. Will definitely purchase more vehicles from David and Hyundai of Louisville.

I drove 1.5 hours to pick up my new vehicle. While I love my vehicle the title service has been terrible. I purchased my vehicle on 5/25. At the beginning of July I called to confirm my paperwork to register hadnt shown up. I wasnt told I needed a VIN check. I got the VIN check and emailed all documents on 7/7. I received an acknowledgement, but no other communication. I reached out again 7/22 received an email with excuses and still nothing. I was supposed to receive an email on 7/29 to get the paperwork. Still nothing. No one answers the phone, when I discussed getting a fine now for being so late I was told by the Title Clerk there is nothing they can do for me. Beyond frustrated. I will never buy from this small unprofessional dealership again.

Hyundai of Louisville is worse than a typical, slimy used car lot. Document fees of $400. Road side assistance membership (?) of $500. Wow. Indiana has laws against these fees. I do not recommend this dealership.Brandon, you seem like a good guy. Go work for a reputable dealership. Do not hurt the people in your community with predatory sales and lending practices. Horrible.

After a crazy mishap at an instant oil change business in Louisville, I brought my Hyundai here to be taken care of. There was a lot of back and forth between myself and the instant oil change business. Dustin was patient and advocated for me and my vehicle to be taken care of properly. You cannot go wrong at Hyundai of Louisville service center. Ask for Dustin and his team!
Everyone was awesome but Carlos in particular was phenomenal! One of the best experiences ever! I was scared to buy a car during this pandemic but he made it contactless... I was able to stay outside where I felt safer, and did all of my paperwork without having to go inside. He was understanding and honest and just really kind and nice. I also feel like this place has some of the best value for the best prices. I looked everywhere and dismay research and I felt respected and treated fairly. Definitely recommend!
I regularly get my car serviced at Hyundai of Louisville on dixie highway. For the past year I have been slowly preparing to trade in my car there for a new(er) car. Tony, who has been in the game a long while, went above and beyond to help me. I have never had such a strategic experience of which was incredibly relaxing and spiritually lifting. Not only did I get an upgrade but I left with a new 2021 Elantra not even on the floor yet. Ms. Sporty Spice was still in inventory. Not only did they help me find the car of my current dreams but they helped me get it In the payments I could afford. I have been working hard the past 2 years to build my credit score and that also went a long way. I was very nervous to spend my Saturday there with an uncertainty of approval.... especially during a pandemic. Tony soothed my fears by assuring me that we can do the business stuff before we look at options to see what type of purchase is going to be best for my budget. The financial gentleman that assisted tony with the sale was also unbelievably amazing. Both men were angels. I’ve never experienced such a great time with such a nerve wrecking purchase. I went in unsure at 11:30 am and had left the building with an approval and rental by 530pm. He also let me take the borrowed car around 4pm to grab some grub because we had been working for a few hours. Tony made sure I was fed and had a car while my car was getting ready to be officially sold by that next Monday. Gods honest truth I will never go anywhere else for my car needs. I feel blessed because car stuff for a woman can be intimidating, but tony made me feel heard and he really went above and beyond for me. Same with the other gentlemen that helped him with the final money aspect. Both of the men really cared about my experience and what I was driving home. I have even gotten a courtesy call yesterday to verify I’m still happy with my purchase. It really can’t get better than this. Thanks y’all at Hyundai dixie. Really grateful for you guys.
I visited this Hyundai a few weeks ago. The customer service I received was delightful. I worked with Justin Holsclaw and he was extremely kind and very helpful. 5 stars for sure. Definitely recommending this place to my family and friends.
I bought my car here in January. The people were kind and answered all my questions. The main question was if the car had been inspected and if there were any major issues. I was guaranteed that the car had been inspected and there were no major issues. Flash forward 2 months and I started noticing issues. I have been taking it to mechanics non stop to try to fix the problem sense March. I was advised that it will now take more than I bought the car for to get the mechanical issues fixed. I would advise not to work worth this dealership. I know I never will again!

Came in to Louisville for the weekend and the first night we ended up with a flat tire on our new Palisade. I called the dealership first thing in the morning and spoke to Jason in Parts who located a replacement tire quickly even though it wasnt in stock. Dustin was my service advisor and he got me back on the road in no time. I couldnt have asked for a more efficient and quicker service than what I received from Dustin. BEWARE... Hyundai of Louisville has no scruples or business ethics!! I live out of town and was purchasing a used car from them. I had a signed purchase agreement in place and, at the request of their finance guy (David Jones), I overnighted them a check directly from my bank for the full amount of the vehicle. After the check had been cut and Id already spent the money to overnight the funds, they called and said theyd be scheduling delivery. Then, they called and suddenly claimed that theyd accidentally sold the car to someone else. When I contacted the GM of the dealership (Joel Jones), although he admitted that theyd messed up, he was VERY condescending and made no attempt to rectify their screw up... in fact, he had the nerve to insinuate that it was my fault. Hyundai of Louisville is the prime example of a business with unethical practices and absolutely no moral compass.
I have entertained purchasing a new 2020 Santa Fe from this dealership. I am an at-risk Covid-19 person due to my age and other factors. I called the dealership and asked for them to bring a particular vehicle to my home for me to take a test drive. A gentleman by the name of Carlos Cifuentes contacted me in regard to my request. He did bring the vehicle to my home, I drove it and we chatted the whole time. Carlos was very personable and very professional! Gotta have a car in Louisville, and dealerships arent gonna sell something they arent somewhat prideful of themselves. Derek and Carlos were straight up and understanding. Called about the car around 1:30 and had it delivered and signed for by 5. The car checked every box I had, so I probably seemed like a pretty easy sale, even though I had been scouring the web for 3 weeks. There was no second-guessing throughout the process.
It is questionable as to whether or not an aliment was done for my car. I went and got another opinion and they immediately noticed that one of my bolts were loose. Not a good experience.
My daughter purchased her first car from here. Steven, Zach and David made this process for her so simple and amazing! We weren’t pressured and everything went so smoothly! They will also work with your budget and what you want your payment to be. I walked out of there, satisfied and happy. Also, Derick( Finance) was easy to talk to, and he also explained everything clearly. This was my first time purchasing my very own car. When I first moved to Louisville, I went to Hyundai of Louisville to see what used car selections they had. I have owned a Hyundai since 2002, and I love the car! I was greeted by a news sales rep. Eric Elliott. He was very kind and honest. We also spent a great deal talking, and he didnt seemed rushed at all and gave me all of his attention and time. Unfortunately, the Hyundai of Louisville didnt have a used car that fit what I was looking for (None of the dealers that I went to did so it wasnt just this dealer. I was looking for a car on a tighter budget. Thats why.), and I ended up buying off of a private owner on Craigslist. However, Eric kept checking-in and sending me car listings he thought I would be interested in. Great customer service by Eric. If/when I am ready to buy another car (and have bigger budget), then I would definitely go to him. A very honest and genuine guy. Thank you!!

Tony Wilson was a pleasure to do business with. I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a new or used vehicle. He provided an honest assessment on the condition of multiple used vehicles we looked at. He was honest and upfront on any issues he was aware of and pointed out any potential future issues he saw. He wasnt pushy, but rather wanted to make sure I found the right truck for my needs. His goal wasnt to make any sale, but rather to only make the sale if it was the right vehicle.

I purchased my 2020 Hyundai Sonata from this dealership and I was VERY impressed with the dealership itself as well as my salesman Keith Linton. Keith made sure I knew all of the features my new Sonata had and that all of my questions were answered. Buying a car is usually very frustrating but that wasn’t my experience at all at Hyundai of Louisville. I will definitely be a returning customer to the dealership and to Keith...if I ever decide to get another car that is. I needed a car fast mine was on its last leg. I tried to buy a 2011 elantra. They said my credit was good. But the interest rate on loan was high. They tried to upsell me saying I could buy a 2018 sonata at a better rate. Sales manager called me. Trying the upsell. I asked what my interest rate on loan was and if he had the car looked at like I had asked.He said he would call back in 10 minutes. I never heard from him again. I text the salesman told him I really wanted the elantra. Still no reply. This is not a way to do business. After finally getting my car. I started having steering issues. Took it in. They fixed it with no problem. But I asked them to check my on / off switch under dash, when they text me about my repair. They never answered me whether they did it or not. So I would say they didnt.
I could not have asked for better service from my service adviser, Dustin, at Hyundai of Louisville. Dustin kept me informed every step of the way and made sure I was aware of all options. I purchased a new Hyundai 10 days ago from Hyundai of Louisville and am still raving to all of my friends and family about the experience. Keith Linton was my sales associate and was a wonderful guide through the entire experience. I want to emphasize that he felt more like a guide than salesman. He listened to what my needs, wants and goals were and made suggestions based upon them. Instead of pushing a vehicle that was possibly a better fit for himself or the dealership, he made suggestions that would work best for me. Throughout the entire process I never felt pressured or rushed to make a decision.The finance department was great. My options were clearly explained to me and all of the paperwork was presented in such a way that I was completely informed and nothing was a surprise.Anybody interested in buying a Hyundai would be well served by coming to Hyundai of Louisville. I purchased my previous vehicle from the other Hyundai dealership in town and this experience was far superior in every respect. The prices were more competitive, there was no heavy-handed sales tactics and, ultimately, I felt much more respected as a (now lifetime) customer. You owe it to yourself to come here if you are looking for a new vehicle.
Just finished purchasing my first ever Hyundai. Ronnie was great. I came in to look at a specific car and he was very knowledgeable and personable. He was not overbearing and made car buying a great experience. The financing department was also great and although we did not finance with them he offered great advice. Will definitely recommend and will be returning in the future.

One of the best experiences I have had at a car dealership. Tony Byers, sales representative, was fantastic in every way possible. He was such a kind soul and did not push us to buy a vehicle. Tony listened to our needs, concerns, and helped us every step of the way. I was blessed to work with Tony and the dealership he works for. The manager, Steve, was also helpful and kind by answering additional questions and making sure we were comfortable.
Took my car to get serviced and was done the same day! Will definitely be back! Staff was very knowledgeable and price wasnt bad for a dealership.
